UPDATE: went to add windshield fluid only to find when they Replaced the air filter they busted the whole compartment and failed to tell me!!!! I would rate a - if possible. Let's start by first explaining when my car was towed to his shop, He said he would let me know how much the repairs were going to be before he did any work. I called repeatedly and finally got an answer out of him, but he had already done the work. When I went to go pick up my car what he quoted me and what he charged was $400 more. He argued with me he yelled at me and he insisted that my husband come down to speak to him. I'm assuming because I'm a woman he thought I didn't know what I was talking about or that I didn't deserve respect or honesty. My father has been a mechanic for 30 years. I'm well aware what work is worth but if you quote someone something that should be binding, especially when it's in writing. Then upon retrieving my car, I realized they hadn't even put it back together. The backseat was completely dismantled. I called over and over and over my husband called repeatedly with no answer, no response to any of our messages and we had to put it back together, ourselves still have not heard from him. DO NOT GO TO THIS SHOP!! I went here to get my brakes fixed. They did some patch work which shortly afterwards my breaks were grinding again. I took my car back in for service as it was still under warranty and asked if they could also replace my RIGHT windshield cowl cover as it was missing. I explained I purchased the part but if it was the wrong part, just leave it and I'll take it to the dealer. When I went to pick my car up, it was in some back alley with the driver side facing a wall. I had to climb over my seat to get in the car. I inspected the car and seen that they put the part on but it didn't fit. I also noticed that THEY RIPPED THE COWL FROM THE LEFT (which I DID NOT ASK FOR) and added the one that did not fit! When I drove my car back around to Luis, he said the sun will melt it in place I asked why did they remove the one on the left and he said, they didn't know. Then he says, "What you want me to do about it?" and walked away. I told him I wanted it fixed. Clearly it doesn't fit and I told you not to put it on if it didn't fit. He went to the garage and said he doesn't know what they did with the part. His customer service is NON existent! I have never been so frustrated. My breaks are still grinding and the cowls do not fit. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS!! They do subpar work and do not care about satisfying their customers. Beware of this shop! I had my truck in for a timing belt and camshaft seals and they completely botched the repair. I was a 1000 miles from home on a road trip and my truck began leaking oil everywhere. The truck had no leaks before they touched it! Fortunately, I was able to limp home by adding oil the entire trip back. I took it back to them after the trip and they said it was my valve cover gaskets that needed replacing. Knowing this is something else that should be done on my 25 year old truck I went ahead and let them make the repair only to come home to a large puddle of oil from the truck as bad as before. Not trusting this shop anymore, I had to take it to a much more reputable shop to fix all of their botched repairs. It turns out they didn't correctly seat one of the camshaft seals and on top of that they destroyed one of my camshafts by gouging it while removing one of the seals and this cost me an additional $2500 in repairs! They maybe ok to use for simple repairs, but beware they rush their work and can really mess your vehicle up. I was able to get a partial refund for the repair after I showed them the pictures the other shop sent me, but it doesn't make up for all the headache of almost loosing an engine in my truck! read more

That is what I was looking for in a mechanic in 2019 when my 2004 Nissan Xterra failed the DMV emissions test while trying to renew my license plate. The mechanic I had used for years (located on McKellips) told me it wouldn't be worth it to pay to fix it, being the Nissan is 20 years old - shady. Then I found Honn Auto. Mr. Honn guaranteed it would pass emissions and it did. I have taken my Nissan for repairs several times and always they have done a great job. In addition, I have taken my 2015 Toyota Camry here for maintenance several times. In January 2024, my wife was driving the Camry, got in an accident smashing most of the front of the Camry and I took it straight to Honn's for body shop work. My wife wanted to get rid of the car, but Mr. Honn assured me that he could put it back together and he did. They fixed additional damage than the accident, dents, scrapes and scratches that I was responsible for. Stay away. Up charge. Dropped my car off at 8am and was told would be called with a quote. I had to call since haven't heard from them and it was 2pm. Told it would be $140.00 I agreed to services based on price. Car was ready at 6pm and I was now told charges are double what I was quoted. When I questioned what was different then what was quoted, he said he cleaned my engine and everything else was the Same.. oil change and new coolant cap. Luis older man said he was busy and can give me a $20.00 discount. Will not be going back. Update: my car started leaking coolant yesterday. 8/14/19. Thought it was a hole. Took it to a mechanic that said we had a broken cap, it was missing a piece. So Luis took off the cap and replaced it with a broken one, all while charging me. Again... stay away!!!! He is a horrible person who puts used parts or wrong parts and claims they are new. Took him 3 of my vehicles within a short period of time, and each one failed just as quickly. My new mechanic said I was lucky I was not in a serious accident. One of his ex mechanics wouldn't work on the 2nd one because he recognized it and knew that Luis had screwed us. The 3rd one failed within 1 mile of his shop. I'm suing him so if anyone else has suffered at his hands, take him to court and make him pay you back! read more

DO NOT BRING CARS HERE FOR TRANSMISSION ISSUES. I called prior to going and asked if they are knowledgeable on transmissions and described the issue. They said yes and I brought the car over. When I got there it took a while for anyone to notice me. The owner then came up to me I described the issue and he said he would look at it. He drove it around the lot and then told me that the transmission was bad and needed to be replaced..... HE THEN PROCEEDED TO CHARGE ME $10.. for what? I couldn't tell you. I highly highly doubted that and I took it to an actual transmission shop and turns out it was just low on fluid due to a leak .. got it fixed and runs great. My former mechanic told me it would be too expensive to replace the egr valve, but Honns said it didn't need replacing. It passed emissions after they cleaned it. This Company was great to use. I got good service and at almost half of what I had been quoted by the Company my insurance recommended. I had been in a minor accident and needed a new radiator and a good amount of work done on a Honda Accord. I was concerned with how long my car would have to be in the shop and thought that I would have to get a rental car. Luis and Honn-Auto Repair were great they completed the work in just 1 day and even gave me a loaner car to use and a free oil change.
