While they sell at other stores in the area I highly recommend dropping in to meet and interact with the folks that make the magic happy. Don't worry if you don't live nearby - you can order online for delivery all over the country. Also they freeze well and let me tell you they are terrific heated up in the microwave. We went with a non-traditional theme which included cupcakes a wedding topper cake for the dessert. We chose Grant's Bakery to do the topper cake and worked with Gary, one of their cake makers. Gary walked us through their process, portfolio and what options were available to us. He understood our theme and produced a white and gold themed topper cake which was spot on. My wife LOVED it and it. Unfortunately my wife and I were not able to have the cake for our wedding reception as we had to cancel due to a major incident impacting several of our Maine towns, but Gary was patient and willing to still make the cake despite their store being shut down for 2-3 days due to the incident. We pushed the due date for the cake to be ready, out a few days and when my wife picked it up, she LOVED it and complimented him several times on how he hit the theme with colors and the simplistic design. The space has seating in front (it feels like these are the most coveted ones, as they're comfortable chairs with armrests located in front of their floor to ceiling windows overlooking the street) and some more basic two and four top tables in the back. The staff? So friendly! They were super patient when I had loads of questions, they made recommendations (like secret menu kind of stuff!), and they double-check our specific order, I think the coffee itself is good (hot, iced, or cold brew specifically); the specialty latte menu is really fun! It changes seasonally, and they're creative enough options that you'll want to come back to find out what the new line-up is. For me, though, they are too, too, too sweet. The sweetest latte I've ever had, honestly. It tasted like I was drinking melted ice cream. So, if you like a sugar forward, milk forward drink, get it as is. Besides the trailer they do have a brick and mortar location in Richmond as well as an in progress location in Topsham. Lastly they also have a private cafe located inside IDEXX Labs. Their Portland event was basically a collaboration of Moose. Morning Moose partnered up with Big Moose Harley-Davidson for a breakfast bingo. We stopped in for just the coffee though. Morning Moose just dropped their Christmas seasonal drinks so perfect time to check them out. Besides coffee they also offer mini donuts. Although we did pass on those this visit due to already having breakfast. Will be a must try next time though. The staff were friendly and greeted us with a smile with quickly made drinks. I ended up getting their Gingerbread Latte while my wife got their Peppermint Pine. Besides these they had a couple other flavored lattes as well as a cranberry energy drink. I very much enjoyed the gingerbread and think it's an overall underrated flavor for the holiday season. My wife and I also enjoyed net peppermint drink but think we would pass on the crushed candy canes next time. A little overpowering.
