I was only here extremely briefly to grab the Cherry donut that I saw was this month's special. and then I had to run to get somewhere ten minutes away in 3 minutes time! Oopsie! But I will say, line moves quick. Cashier was smiling and eager to serve, my cherry donut was still in stock, payment went through without issue (yay Apple Pay tap!) Thank you! The cherry donut was really good...BUT!!! I'd suggest to put some cherry juice and chopped cherries inside the donut, not just in the glaze. I think this would send this already delish treat right out into orbit to be the BEST donut in the galaxy.

What a great donut location! We usually go to the one in downtown Portland, but on this day we just happened to be driving by this one so we decided to stop by. We were there near closing time, so just about everything was packed up inside the store, but they were still serving donuts. The staff were friendly and helpful to make sure we got all the donuts we needed!!! :D If you got time, walk to the bathroom and read the story on the wall. This company has a great one and you'll be glad you stopped by to read all about it!

Super easy online ordering. got a mix of regular and gluten free and they were all delicious. My favorite was the coconut and lemon blueberry.

First time having a potato donut. I am sold! Good flavor and nice sized serving. Friendly staff and comfortable seating area. The latte was awesome as well! Great way to start Father's Day!

Super friendly service, delicious latte and of course, the donuts! My husband and I were visiting Maine and read about these interesting sounding potato donuts, so we had to check them out. We went two separate days: first day we tried the Apple Cider and Blueberry glazed donuts, second day we got a Vanilla glazed and a Toasted Coconut (my favorite). All were moist, appropriately sweet with a nice crunch on the outside. The coffee at our hotel seemed to lack caffeine, so I threw in a latte with 2% milk each day as well. Perfect (although maybe not the healthiest ) breakfast!

The donuts are bland, tough textured and overpriced. Save your money. Not worth the calories

Words cannot describe how decadent this was. OMG!!!! I've been coming to Boothbay for 30 years and never knew this place was there. If someone had not sent me would have thought just a bakery. It is that too. I have seen some negative reviews on service. Not fair. There is no table service. You stand at the counter till they have time to take your order. If you are eating there, they will deliver to your table. There is beautiful outside seating. And English is not their first language so patience may be required. And they are from a different culture and it to some that may translate as rude. That has not been my experience nor those lined up for their food or bakery products. A constant stream of takeout. If you like Asian food, funky place, this is it. One more thing. The order we had at most any other Asian restaurant in the area would have been double the cost. 2 entrees large portions, 2 apps and a desert for under$50 bucks!!!

I am not a doughnut person at all, but I always make an exception for apple fritters. So we bought one, and I want to emphasize the word "one" because it was sooooooo huge that it would've just been too much to have gotten more. It was enough for 3 to share, frankly. It was really large. The apple fritter was good, but I have to say, it wasn't my favorite. I've been spoiled by a place near our home (3,000 miles away) where the addition of a noticeable amount of cinnamon with huge apple chunks always steals my heart. Here, at least in the fritter we got, I didn't taste any cinnamon, and honestly, I couldn't taste any apple pieces either. Not sure what was going on. It still tasted good, but I felt like it wasn't well represented for what they claimed it to be. Again, it wasn't bad... it just wasn't great, either.

It's a nice little shop in a good location and you're always greeted with a smile when walking in. This time I got the bacon and cheese on a bulky roll and then three selections of donuts. The breakfast sandwich was very good. Everything was good perfectly and they put a good amount of bacon on the sandwich. Also asked for hot sauce to be added which I highly recommend. They have a wide variety of donuts always available and they are always so delicious. When you walk in you'll see how hard it is to choose from all their flavors. Their coffee is pretty decent as well. I just love how fast they are here and I've never been disappointed with the food. Highly recommend trying this place out. And though we've enjoyed many of their outstanding meat cuts, a variety of local items they carry and their full liquor selections, I've come to Yelp today to sing the praises of their store made smoked salmon salad with salmon supplied from Maine's Duck Trap fisheries. This salad is first of all salmony, appropriately salty, chunky, and filled with tiny bits of red onion and celery and just enough mayo to hold it together. What a great find at this fun to shop at market. I eat it on Triscuits, corn chips, baby carrots, or to be embarrassingly honest...from my finger. I love it when I discover something previously unknown to me. And though I have been eating smoked salmon, lox/Nova since early childhood, I am so happy to have recently found this. Great job Bow Street Market! It's sold in various sized small tubs at $10.99/lb. and well worth this price.

They won't have all the things since it's a smaller, boutique market, but quality is here.
