Our pool was not holding chlorine levels where they should be so a friend referred us to Ben. Ben is amazing! He's a no nonsense guy that'll tell you how it is and what needs to be done to have a great looking pool. He did a water test with my girlfriend and explained to her why the chemical levels were so bad. He suggested we drain the pool and refill it. He was here every step of the way, and gave very thorough instructions. We also had him patch some chips in the surface while it was drained as well as repairing some exposed rebar. The pool looks fantastic! After we filled the pool Ben came over cleaned our filter and put chemicals in the pool. Our pool has never looked better. Ben did an amazing job on our pool! When we called him our pool was so gross. It was green and definitely not swimmable. Ben came out right away to check out the issue. He drained our pool, cleaned the inside, and acid washed our filter. He was extremely knowledgeable and explained everything along the way. It turned out that we needed a new pool pump as well. Royal thanks to Ben's Pool Service! Ben is a professional, EXPERIENCED, no nonsense pool pump repairman and overall pool maintenance provider. At the pump location, water was spraying out like a hydrant draining my pool at a high water expense. Whereas a couple other "experts" stated I needed a new pump , it was not even the pump. Ben repaired my leaks for a nominal fee and returned twice to check on their status. If you don't need a $20 part, he's not selling you on one. Integrity and reliability at its finest. Refreshing! And thank you to Natalie (BPS's Administrator) who understood the situation and dispatched him on the same day to stop the water loss. Let me just start by saying Ben is amazing! The last pool guy we had was horrible, he lacked communication, over charged and to top it all off algae ended up growing in our pool. On Tuesday I searched around and called 3 different people and Ben was the first and only one to call me back right away. I told him what was going on and he came over the same day within the hour. He was very thorough, he tested the water and it definitely wasn't safe to swim in. He suggested the pool be drained with a chlorine wash. He noticed our pump was leaking water and needed to be replaced along with a few tiles that had came off and needed to be patched back on. He gave me a quick estimate for draining the pool with chlorine wash, patching up the tiles, and replacing the pump and said he can get it taken care of within the next few days. I was in shock! The price and timing was very reasonable compared to what my last pool guy was telling me. Ben wasn't pushy at all he just said "talk it over with your husband and give me a call." Needless to say I was already sold. We fired our last pool guy and Ben came over the very next day (Wednesday) to start the process of draining the pool which took 6-8hrs. Thursday he was back again to the do the chlorine wash and patch up the tiles. Friday he filled up the pool and replaced our pump. Once the pool was filled up he made sure it was cleaned, tested the water, cleaned our filters, added chemicals and even replaced our chlorine holder. We are very happy with his work. Ben is very knowledgeable. We can tell he takes pride in his work and doesn't try to nickel and dime you. Most importantly wants to make sure that your pool looks good and your concerns and needs are meet. read more
