So I proceeded to stop in the next day to check for myself, I was disappointed because it wasn't there. I got an employee and asked her to take a picture of the fish I was looking for because the manager wouldn't be there till 3:30 and I was told they could order it. She was very hesitant and said she wouldn't be there at 3:30. So I asked her to take the picture anyway and pass it along to whoever's taking over her shift. So then I ask her what time are you getting out and she tells me 5:30. So then I call it 3:30 and get a manager, who told me she let the other employee go early because it's so slow wonder why. I then ask the manager to look on the website so I could explain the fish that I was looking for, she says what website and I said the one that you have online on Google. 2 seconds later maybe five she says I have no idea where the picture is. These employees here are very unprofessional and I would not want them looking after my pets. They didn't seem to be very pet friendly or should I say person friendly. Very unsatisfied disappointed. I've never been treated like that in the pet store, usually pet people are exceptionally nice and helpful. So don't expect much if you're going to shop here and it's very dirty in there too. Hope this is helpful

During busy times, there's even someone in the parking lot radioing ahead to the counter to announce your dog's arrival and prepare the team to receive them. They greet your furry friend with open arms and come equipped with a grooming history card to check if you'd like any changes. But honestly, why would you? These experts know better than I do about all aspects of this process, and for that, I am truly grateful. When it's time for pickup, a friendly call informs you that your dog is ready, returned to you gleaming and gorgeous, accompanied by a debriefing of any concerns. They are my first-line defenders when it comes to Saydee's overall health, including her body, teeth, fur, and ears. Appointments can be challenging to secure because they are that good, which is why I book mine for the entire year. Monthly visits work best for me, and I gladly drive 35-45 minutes each way because I wouldn't trust anyone else with this task. A word of caution regarding any unfavorable reviews: They are poppycock. Professionalism isn't always warm and fuzzy and f you would rather hear flattering words while dealing with sloppy grooming, tardiness, and inconsistency, go somewhere else. But if you're looking for true professionals who know what they are doing and execute it perfectly, bring your fur baby here!

I was there today and it wasn't busy, but the shipment was being unloaded. I pulled my ticket but no one was calling out numbers. I finally asked a woman for help but she said "I don't work here but I'll let them know". At that point I just left. I've been ignored there for 25 years going back to the old Latham location. One positive experience I had was a few years ago. They had species plant I wanted but there was only a couple left. The salesman informed me that they had some that were yet to be unpacked in the back room. Long story short he was reprimanded for selling plants that weren't yet in the display case (in front of me while I was checking out). That ruined the experience and made me feel I did something wrong. So I guess I never had a positive experience, I just witnessed someone going above and beyond being treated like trash. It's sad to say, but I'm actually happier walking in and not seeing anything I want to buy. The stressful part is seeing something I want and having to jump through hoops to get someone's attention and get service. To sum things up it's not really worth the stress for me and I will go elsewhere from

As a marine biologist, during a recent…read morevisit my husband and I were disappointed to see Eddie's Aquarium Centre housing incompatible species together -- for example, Flagtail Porthole Catfish (Dianema urostriatum), Kribensis Cichlids (Pelvicachromis pulcher), Butterfly Plecos (Dekeyseria sp.), and Congo Tetras (Phenacogrammus interruptus) in the same tank. These fish require different water parameters and have very different temperaments, which creates stress and weakens their immune systems. Stressed fish are far more likely to develop ich (Ichthyophthirius multifiliis, or "white spot disease"), and once one fish is infected, the entire tank is at risk. Unfortunately, stores that mix species like this often deny responsibility and may mislead customers to avoid refunds or replacements. For anyone buying fish from any store that displays mixed species, I strongly recommend quarantining and proactively treating for potential bacterial, viral, or parasitic infections before adding them to your main aquarium. This precaution protects both your tank and your fish.
