Wow! Totally worth the drive from Beaverton... not easy during rush hour, but we made it. For the premium rolls it was $17-$19 for rolls but with large portions. Great flavor and fresh! We loved the Oh my God roll (tempura shrimp with spicy tuna and spicy crab and salmon) it has unagi (eel), too which may not be for everyone. Loved the super crunch roll with shrimp, avocado, cream cheese and crunchy sweet potato. Tried the sushi and sashimi platter served on a boat and had delicious fresh variety of salmon, tuna, shrimp, ect... Got the lion but didn't care for it. It was some sort of hot salmon roll. I've gone to Bento Plus many times. Perhaps my most memorable was during the last big snow storm right as the snow started falling. I ordered teriyaki grilled salmon with green tea. I ate the DELICIOUS food while watching the snow fall out the window. The soft amber glow of the lights made it very dramatic. The cucumber salad here is incredible. The staff is nice and the food comes out at a good pace. The sushi is good too! Definitely recommend it. read more

In Gresham area for other reasons and decided to offer lunch and a visit to a cousin. We decided to grab from Bento Plus and was not disappointed. She is not a huge sushi fan so got a bento box with teriyaki chicken and loved it. I had the rainbow roll, flamingo roll, and something else. I can't recall off the top of my head as I write this review hours later. Everything was delicious! Next time I'm in the area I will definitely go again. This spot has been here for a while, not sure why this was my first time visiting, but I will be going back. We got there around 7 and it was packed. Cleared our pretty fast and then we had the place to ourselves. Would of given 5 stars but I had 2 fish bones in one of my rolls. Feel of the room is a little small. Love Bento Plus. This has been one of the few places I will still buy takeout from, as I cannot really afford to eat out. But on a special occasion or a rare treat, Bento Plus would be one of maybe five places I love to eat from. They have been there forever and it's a great location. Very convenient and big portions. This little jewel is my 'go to' sushi house. The seafood is ALWAYS fresh, the staff is ALWAYS friendly and attentive, and the prices are ALWAYS fair. (usually below market). I like the 'Godzilla' roll, but there are SO MANY other choices. I don't recall EVER trying something I didn't like. My wife and I had the teriyaki chicken and I must say, the thinly sliced chicken was excellent! Very tender and tasty. We will be trying the sushi soon. For those who don't like the sushi presentation: this is Korean sushi, not Japanese! And as for the fish being frozen before it's used, that squares with FDA food safety regulations concerning parasite transfer. I want my fish to be safe! read more

I've been a faithful customer for 6 years and even drive all the way out here from Milwaukie just to enjoy my favorite sushi restaurant! I knew changes were coming when the new owners came. I love the new owners, though. They are much much friendlier! However, the rolls seem to be getting skimpier and less like their previous selves. The lion king roll is mostly the same, albeit less sauce. The spider roll has shrunk, although it's still plentiful. The spicy plus roll has severely shrunk and there definitely wasn't as much sauce as before. Listen, I love this place and I'm sad it's changed like this. If the owners are reading this, please don't change the rolls too much anymore! I don't want to have to hunt for a new favorite sushi restaurant. Until I see the overall Star ratings go up, I'm not in too much of a hurry to go back :-( read more

This hole in the wall restaurant has some pretty good quality food. They have a large sushi selection, but if you're in the mood for sushi rolls, this is the spot to be. I'm not a huge fan of rolls and prefer regular sushi, but they had a very large selection of roll options which made my dining experience exciting. This place has the largest selection of sushi rolls that I've come across, with unique and creative options. Order enough, and it all comes out on one large, fun wooden boat. The sushi tasted good too! I was pleased. I ended up ordering a couple rolls and some sushi, then shared a plate of yakisoba amongst my parents. Both my parents ordered the chicken bento. My father enjoyed it, while my mother didn't like the chicken. I tried some and it was just okay. Seemed like low quality chicken. I recommend coming here and sharing some sushi with friends. Our go to sushi in the Gresham area. The fish is always fresh and never has a fishy taste to it. The bento and teriyaki dishes are all good and portions are a good size. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. We are picky about trying new sushi rolls and the sushi chef knows that so he has on occasion given us a free roll to try something new. Amazing sushi in a small strip mall in Gresham. You'd never know they were there unless someone told you. The fish was incredibly fresh, the rolls were delicious, creative and many very unique. The staff was incredibly friendly and made us feel very welcomed. We went at a time that's not so busy, so we were served fast. They do close from 3:00-4:30 between lunch and dinner. Their bento boxes are always a win and such a great deal. The katsu is the best I've ever had-super crunchy but still tender I the center! Generous portions of avocado in the rolls, fish is always fresh. Absolutely love their salad dressing. The staff is always so kind as well. The only thing I cant highly reccommend is the ramen, as it does not taste like homemade broth. But everything else we've had is fantastic. read more
