Cheap conveyer belt sushi! 2.45 all plates for happy hour on their winter sale right now. Wouldn't say the best quality, but worth it for the competitive price. I ordered the calamari which was probably the least favorite, as it was well over-battered, but the salmon and seared salmon nigiri were solid and nicely portioned. They didn't have many options out on the belt when we got there, probably saw the same 6 items or so, but they slowly added more rolls to the belt (although not enough nigiri), and we ordered the rest of the things that we wanted. Way better experience than the last. Go figure. Dinner time on a Saturday the weekend before Christmas and they were uber busy but with grace under fire. The Chefs all hard working. Keeping up with the hungry masses. So many interesting looking items. We tried several plates. All were very tasty. My only problem was ... 1. The smelt egg was falling apart. I looked at a few and they all looked half ##### but still tasted great. 2. The Spicy Tuna Hand Roll albeit yummy, was almost gooey like in texture. The Avocado with the Secret Sauce is a bit much. And for the record. The first word is spicy. Try and make it a little hotter. Still delicious though. I had several plates of Salmon. The portions are huge. The Salmon was $1.95 a plate and worth every penny. Seriously. Each piece was at least two bites. I deconstructed most of my sushi just so I wouldn't need a knife. I didn't eat any rolls but some looked mind blowing. Very colorful and tasty looking. My wife tried a few and loved them all. Some, she went back for seconds. For Conveyor belt sushi, this place is worth the money. My favorites are the salmon nigiri, seared salmon, salmon Kama, and the red dragon roll. The atmosphere is pretty standard for a conveyor belt sushi place, no frills, simple and pleasant. The customer service is really fast. The owner is really nice as well. read more

I had to try really hard to actually bite them off the shell and it smelled like they were frozen and the taste was metallic. Couldn't eat them and spit two out. Usually love mussels but this was nasty. Threw away about 5 of them. My husband also said the same thing. This is a conveyor belt sushi restaurant but you can order off the menu if you don't see what you want and they also have a small kitchen menu that includes hibachi plates, yakisoba and tempura. I've been twice and they do a brisk business and everything is very fresh. I watched one of the chefs break down whole salmon and they are generous with their fish. The menu has a lot of different rolls and all your basic options like salmon, tuna, unagi, etc. Each plate is priced by color starting at $1.45 to $3.45 with two pieces of nigiri and at least four pieces of roll. W.T.F. lol I then ordered a spicy salmon hand roll. The salmon was warm. How is my sashimi frozen and the fish on my hand roll warm? I then ordered salmon Kama. It tasted like tempura. I wasn't a fan Sushi was higher than other places. I got a headache afterwards. I asked them to make me a roll on their cheaper menu. They then made me two rolls on the same plate and gave me two plates underneath it to charge for a double roll. That is not what I requested. I didn't want all that food, but since it was served altogether, I ate it. I explained the problem to the waitress, and she first insisted on me paying for it since I ate it. The logic was not reasonable. Finally she decided not to charge me for it. I still wasn't that impressed and probably won't go back. Sorry. Probably one of the better conveyer belt sushi places in the Portland metro area. The quality is consistent. Their salmon, unagi and spicy tuna are our go-tos. We've only been there once since the pandemic and the food is still good. However, the dining room, which they don't seat people these days, could use some sprucing up. They had boxes piled up and stuff everywhere. I know people aren't dining there, but you should still keep it tidy since they are prepping food in that area. We sat watching the conveyer belt for 10 minutes and realized that there were only about 5 items (grapes, salmon sashimi, cream puffs, gyoza (which looked like tempura and was heavily breaded) Spicy Tuna Roll (which we grabbed both of them and more weren't made). Server noticed that we weren't interested in anything on the belt and brought over a paper for us to write down what we'd like them to make. Second red flag was the number of rolls that had a lot of mayo. I avoided those items. We ordered: Edamame-Pass. Miso Soup-Below average. Eel-Good. Tuna-Large thick pieces. Pass.
