I live just a few blocks away so was excited when I saw this place open. I don't get a lot of massages but have been pretty stressed out lately so thought this might help. After reading one mostly negative review that the staff didn't seem trained, I was a bit nervous but personally had an excellent experience. I had a 30 minute foot massage and then a 30 minute back massage, which was the special. Both were amazing and as good or better than similar work I've had done at other places, including spas. Everyone was very courteous. However, this was the worst massage I have ever had. I was praying for it to end. The masseuse had no technique whatsoever. He was moving around very quickly like he was running a marathon (almost literally). He pressed extremely hard despite my requests at least 5 times for him to go lighter (and I am a heavy weight when it comes to pressure). I was in pain from my massage for 2-3 days. The day after the massage, I was in pain just walking around my apartment. This spa needs to train or retrain some of its masseuses because they could potentially do temporary or permanent damage to the clients. I do not provide this review lightly. I have had probably several hundred massages (in numerous countries) and this was by far the worst and most reckless. read more

This place has a beautiful atmosphere very well decorated, the massage they give leaves you a little bit soared I guess is because of the knots they take out of the back but according to my bf it was good I would give this place 4 stars but they didn't do coat check for me and my bf they did that for every other customer that came in besides that they are pretty nice offer water and have very comfortable chairs to wait on. read more

Just had a terrific 60min massage - wish I could have stayed longer. I have been to MANY massage places over years, and this is by far the best combination of price, atmosphere, and quality. It is immaculate and you get your own room (with walls, not shower curtains!), nice linens, body products, and really friendly staff. I came during the week and they accommodated me on the spot. I just enjoyed an amazing 30-minute foot/lower leg massage here and my aching, pregnant feet couldn't be happier. The place is new, clean and very friendly. The large recliners that you sit in for the leg/foot/hand massages are comfortable enough to fall asleep or read with a good book and they have relaxing music playing in the background. This was our first experience at a Spa and I have to say it was just right for a first timer. We did the foot and back package. First thing the staff were very welcoming. The wait time was maybe 5 minutes and thats only because there were folks ahead of us. We were attended to as soon as someone became availble. I love this ambiounce of this place. It is very calming and peaceful. I was also pleasantly surprised when we were excorted to a private area for the couple massage. I used to wonder about those folks who could have massages multiple times a month, but given the amazing price and value, I may see myself becoming of those people. I called before hand and made an appointment where I expressed I would be traveling far to get to the business and was told that's fine . After arriving after over an hour of commuting , I was 15 mins late which I understand if I could not be serviced but I informed of the distance and the woman on the phone implied there was a grace period . Upon arrival the front door was open while people were receiving massages . It was very noisy inside and I was taken aback as to how the setting would be relaxing.. Next I was met by a worker who was very rude and dismissive . I explained I had a 7:30 appointment it was now 7:35 and expressed I called before hand . He told me to come back tomorrow because they took walk ins for service . I gladly declined and went a few blocks up on court street and received amazing service and massage . Booked a Sunday appointment on the day of. Although this is a Chinese massage place, it's not your typical Chinatown one. It's clean and well maintained. It also has three walls instead of the one. No doors though. Just curtains. But everyone speaks in a hushed voice and there's soft music playing so it was pretty tranquil. Rooms are of decent size. Spacious compared to the cramped Chinatown places. There were 8 rooms in total, one of them was for couples. My masseuse, Liya, had a strong hand and gave my muscles a real work out. She even placed a cloth over my head so she could get her knees up on the table and put more pressure on my back. It was wonderful! The massage was excellent and the price was worth it! This place is great. Small, quiet and easy. The only issue I had was that there were no instructions. My girl and I were not sure of the massage etiquette and were a bit confused as to whether we should get naked or not lol. They offer a shared massage space so she and I were right next to each other and could hear each other groan (oh my). The price is affordable. They PREFER CASH. That's something that could also have been made a bit clearer. If you're a big softie like me you should definitely ask for a SOFT massage because medium is basically Hard! Great establishment. Really enjoyed this massage experience and a very clean and wonderful spa. My masseuse had just the right amount of pressure and used every minute of her time. The only things that I would say are a negative is that they require you to leave a minimum of 20% tip - the reason it's a tip is because you leave what you feel is right now what they want. Second they only gave 5 extra minutes even though yelp check in said 10 and didn't explain you couldn't use check in offer and yelp deal together. Had I known the 10 minutes extra would've been 5 I would've gone with using my $10 off instead. But all in all great place and would come back again and recommend to friends. read more

My husband and I came in for a 30 min foot rub / 30 min back rub. In short, it was great. The ambiance is relaxing, from the music to the decor. The foot rub is done on very comfy reclining chairs in an open area, and despite being open they do their best to keep the talking to a minimum. The back massages are in private rooms - also relaxing - in the back. We were both happy with the massages which were strong, as we like them. I would definitely go back!
