My first time ever at Berge's and I am so impressed with my sandwich and the service. I'm truly thankful that this place is still around. I ordered the Reuben with corned beef and it was delicious. I'm talking it was a 5 star Reuben. I grew up eating corned beef and loving Reubens, so I am seriously surprised right now. The owner and top chef was kind and patient with my questions. He offered tips on getting the pickle as a side and I see why. An absolutely delicious pickle as well. I can't praise this place enough. For the price they give you plenty, but I wish it was lunch, so I could have another sandwich for dinner. I'm a sandwich guy, so I've been to every spot you could imagine but this one.
