I ended up talking to several associates who asked if I had questions, and at first I was hesitant to really get into anything simply because I wasn't 100% sure. I ended up asking Giselle (I think that was their name!) and they asked me if I just wanted to do a full backpack fitting. Not only that, when I mentioned that I was thinking of one backpack, they told me that they had bought the pack for their brother and brought their experience with the bag while we were fitting it. They also realized the straps were too small on me, and went on a mission to find me the right size, just for the fitting! I mentioned that I wanted to get a specific color that they didn't have in stores, and they pulled up the product info for me so that I could order with the cashier up front (also a delight!) if I was interested for pickup. I didn't think that I would end up getting anything right away, but I was so thankful for Giselle for taking time to answer all my questions and get me sorted. Price was always high, due to (historically) domestically sourced and manufactured goods, now only one or two remaining items are manufactured in the states (of imported materials)..and yet the prices continue to go up, while the quality goes way down. Their customer service is HORRIFIC. If you have a problem you will be completely screwed!!! Weeks to respond to an e-mail. They have turned off the CC phone lines (you get a recording telling you so, and tough sh*t), the have disabled chat on the site. Local stores are NOT ALLOWED to help if you ordered on-line (they will lose their jobs if they try to help you). RUN, don't walk away. There is NOTHING good left of this once great company!! I am ashamed that I recently purchased an item from here, and also pissed that the sizing is so messed up that i cannot wear it (nor return it because CC simply ignores their customers). Next step is a charge-back on my credit card (sucks, but it is the only recourse with horribly run companies like this).

I checked the receipt and it had a $17 shipping charge. I called their (seemingly offshore) customer support and explained that I thought I had been incorrectly charged. The customer service agent said they would discuss the refund with their supervisor. I also sent an email to their customer service email address and heard nothing back. Absent any refund or response, I filed a dispute with my credit card company and Classic Accessories can enjoy the charge back fee. The cover is still sitting in its box ready to be returned. I'll never buy anything from this company directly again and will simply buy another brand or buy through Home Depot who actually honor their shipping and refund policies.
