Nice small business on the main strip near the beach. Had the shrimp poboy and it was fantastic! Friendly service and prompt. Definitely a local dive bar appeal with great food. Recommend.

Definitely our kind of place. That local feel, pull up to the bar and have a beer-but don't forget to order the oysters. Oversized, plump, fresh and Sweet.

We stopped here on our way back home after a day at the beach and were pleased. There was no wait. Our server, Lauren, was prompt and pleasant. She was kind and helpful on suggestions. Definitely made us want to try a lot of things bc she described them so well! The food was delicious and fresh. It was delivered pretty quickly as well. The restaurant is kind of dive bar style so it was relaxed and chill. Loud radio music, in a good way, and TVs on the walls. It was enjoyable for our situation. I'm glad we tried it and i definitely recommend the shrimp wrap!

Tony and I stopped at 2nd stop on his Bar Crawl. He ordered PBR and I actually took my Sprite with me! He was not able to smoke here inside so we had to go outback to the enclosed porch area. It's really big out there! Some is under roof and rest is in the open sunlight! Which I like but of course he didn't! I'm not a fan of this location! Bartender was a little rude when she found out we were not eating!

This was a divey style bar/restaurant in the middle of the pier stores and eateries. The area gets a lot of traffic. I'd read that they had good oysters -- steamed as well as raw -- and had bookmarked the place "to try". We came for lunch and sat at the bar. The current oyster prices were posted on a tabletop display. My husband got a half dozen raw oysters to start. I went with a dozen steamed oysters (as I don't like raw oysters) which took a bit longer as they had to cook. The oysters were very good. I think the raw ones were a better choice of the two. After that, he had a side Caesar salad topped with grilled shrimp. He said it was very good. I had their peel n eat shrimp. They were served warm and slightly dusted with old bay. And some melted butter was served on the side for dipping. The shrimp were good, too. This is the kind of place guys would drop by for a beer and some raw oysters.... And the bar was full with just these type of men. Although the guy to my right was also enjoying some steamed crawfish before his oysters. They have other food here besides oysters, but this hole in the wall place is a great intro. And with a name of "oyster house", why would you try anything else?!

    So yummy !!!

My friend Tiffany commented earlier and nailed it!! Amazing food and ambience until the manager is there. I'm in remission from cancer I run hot and she refuses to turn the first air conditioning unit when you walk in. So if anyone's at the back table its horrible for me! But I wish I knew the sweetheart waitress with the long hair and the awesome male waiter with the beard because they MAKE the place great!!! Seriously great food though!!!

Small spot, weren't to sure but we all loved our food. Recommend the burger, fish and chips, steamed shrimp plate, and buffalo chicken wrap. Cold beer - no complaints. Surcharge if you pay with CC

stopped in for take out on Christmas Eve. the gator tail & philly cheese steak were great! I will say it's pretty pricey & the gator tail, philly cheese steak, & a buffalo chicken wrap totaled up to $50. There is outdoor seating available & we plan to return & give some of the gumbo a try. the bartender was nice & service was quick, though I was the only one there.

Good bar food and service. Was expecting a little bit more from an oyster house than the typical bar food menu

This Wet Willie's isn't far from the beach and sits on the little Tybee Island strip. There were two other parties sitting and eating when we entered, so we just fell in line at another table. Only two of us were drinking so we headed to the bar. The young guy helping us wasn't super helpful, to be honest lol he seemed a little annoyed that we were asking questions and digging into the menu. When we asked questions, he answered but I would have loved to hear his favorites or any sort of recommendations. I opted for a combo that was super ugly but it worked! I was surprised that they also had food on the menu. If they offered food at other Wet Willie's that I've visited, I do not remember lol. This menu included some classic favorites such as wings, tacos and quesadillas. We tried all of the above as well as their sliders. The food was actually good. Maybe not Michelin star ready, but tasty! I appreciated that a gentleman, (who I assume is the manager) came by each table checking in on us and our experience. That always takes an experience to another level for me, so appreciated!

Fannie's is a huge, 2-story restaurant with so much space right at the edge of the beach. It just calls out to you! So I headed on in. I let a woman at the door know that I wanted to sit upstairs and she directed me to the stairwell on the side of the building. I went up and came across their spacious upper dining room and deck which looked right out on the beach and boardwalk. Such a great oceanside vibe! As soon as I walked up I was greeted by a gentleman who seemed to be a manager of sorts. He guided me over to a table on the deck and left me with a menu. I appreciate not having to sit around looking crazy! Soon, a waitress named Nicki came over to help me. She was a sweetheart! During my visit I had their steamed oysters, rib plate and the frozen lemonade. The steamed oysters were a bittt overcooked but they worked! The ribs were superrr tender but I wish they had some more meat on them, but I was surprised at how tender they were. The frozen lemonade was delicious and super refreshing! I just don't feel like there was enough liquor in it, and I'm not even one to like too much liquor. All in all, a basic experience when it comes to food, but I was really impressed with the level of service I received, the timeliness of my order and the overall vibe of the restaurant. I'd go back if I'm ever on Tybee again!
