I've had the chance to visit The Lost Square both during the winter and this past week during the summer. They have a great view of the river and cozy lounge seating, as well as a full bar. The first time I visited was near Christmas and it was freezing outside, but they had a burning fireplace and the cutest little enclosed glass houses you could sit in to enjoy your drinks. During my recent visit, we had our 1 yr old son with us and decided to have dinner there and enjoy the weather. I had the Valencian Spritz (reposado, orange aperitif wine, fresh orange, white pepper, and cava) which was the perfect summer drink. My husband had the Soft Light mocktail (zero proof gin, papaya, kefir, and saline). For food, we started with the Labneh dip topped with olive oil, za'atar, and honey with fresh pitas on the side. Wow, this has got to be the best pita I've ever had. They were so fluffy, warm, and well seasoned. We even got a second order. The labneh dip was phenomenal -- highly recommend for an appetizer or just a snack. We also shared to the falafel bites and the Alida Burger which was very tasty! We'll definitely be back for another visit the next time we're in Savannah!

I think it is one of the lighter dishes - certainly lighter than what my dining companions ordered - but it was still quite rich with a fair amount of gouda fondue in the tomato bisque soup. We usually prefer sitting at the bar, but there weren't any available seats, so the hostess seated us at a tiny round table that felt more like something you'd find in a café. The atmosphere was definitely giving romantic date-night vibes. We ordered two specialty sushi rolls. One was a mango roll, and the other had me sold the moment I saw the word truffle as a special. The truffle roll was easily my favorite, although both were delicious. I also ordered a passion fruit cocktail, which I'd rate a solid 9 out of 10. I don't normally go for sweet drinks, but when on Rome, why not? This was not overly sweet but still one and done for me.
