Really good shrimp basket with generous portions. A fun atmosphere and not busy at all on a cold February day.

Wait was no existent at lunch even though it was packed. Got right in and seated. The place definitely has the vacation beach vibe down. Waited for a while until the hostess cam and asked if our server ever came. The service was 2 out of 5 stars. The waitress was either just rude or just annoyed she had to serve us. Never brought straws we asked for (I went and got them from the bar). Totally forgot to put in our fried okra order....then blamed kitchen. Never asked to refill water. Food was decent for what we ordered. A few hot dogs, cheese fries and some fried okra.

There is plenty parking outside, the service was courteous and quick. We ordered Po Boy with fried ousters, Tuna Salad, and other things. My Po Boy was pretty good, fried ousters was very crispy outside. Consider this is tourist area, it's little surprise.

We have akways ordered food and took back to beach (which is always sooo good) Today we dined inside for the shade & AC. Lucked out and got seated immediately. Fast friendly service, fun beachy tiki bar decor. Quick lunch was very good. We had ahi tuna tacos, shrimp quesadillas and a burger. Came quickly! Burger was huge. Quesadilla nice size, but a little skimpy on the shrimp. Salsa was too watery for my taste but yummy, as was the quesadilla which also has pineapple and roasted peppers. Fish tacos looked great. We all were happy with our meal, and didnt burn mich beach time. In and out in an hour. Also have great selection of local beers. Been enjoying Fannie's food for many years. Glad we finally dined in. For a beachside joint, its perfect.

This place was so good. The decor was so cute, was the perfect beach town vibes. The staff were super sweet. The food was amazing. I couldn't decide what to get and seeing all the tables with different food walking by it made it harder to choose. If you are in the area I would definitely recommend!!

We were between a few places along the beach on Tybee and this is the one we landed on. The menu looked decent and we liked the location. There wasn't much for a vegetarian like myself, but that's the case with most of Tybee Island: typically one vegetarian option per restaurant. The kids didn't find anything to eat (also vegetarian) and my wife tried the fish. The main issue here was that we waited for our food for over an hour. We didn't complain, but were given a 10% discount. I do think we should've received more of a discount. We watched several families come in after us, order, get their food, eat it, and leave, before we even received our food. We were pretty disappointed. Our server was nice and friendly and welcoming. She apologized a few times. I appreciate that. She told us "someone stole our food", which I assume means that another server grabbed it and delivered it to a different table. I just didn't anticipate spending so much of our one afternoon at the beach inside of a restaurant. And the food was just average. There are too many places to eat in the area that have a similar menu. I'll try someplace else next time. I appreciate the unique decor and my kids really liked the bar seating with the bathing suits. That was funny and made for a good photo op.

What a terrible experience at this place! Was really excited and looking forward to this place since reading so many good reviews online. The service was HORRIFIC, over an hour to get our meal (4 of us) and it wasn't even all that great. Waitress never checked on us to see how everything was, I had to approach the checkout counter to ask about an eta on our meal; staff responded with a very bad attitude. This establishment needs staff education on customer service!!! There was a table across from us that approached us as they left, 2 ladies, asked us what we thought of the food; all 4 of responded in unison "bad and horrible service" They said they had the same experience. I'm not really sure how this place gets such good reviews. The only good thing about Fannie's was the frozen drinks, they were made very well, BUT took a VERY long time to get to us. We believe the poor service was because of our waitress, we don't know her name because she didn't introduce herself to us. The establishment was very crowded, had plenty of wait staff, all tables around us were getting served, some even came after us and left before us! As we left the establishment, we were approached outside by one of the waitresses, asking us if we had a poor experience, we answered honestly and said it was actually HORRIBLE, she asked who our waitress was, we said we didn't know all we could say was that she had a green Tshirt on; she said she will report this to the manager. Hopefully she will, because if I owned this place I would be extremely upset and embarrassed. We are tourists visiting the area and were given such an attitude and had such a horrible experience. Afterwards, we went to see the Tybee island light house and then had a drink at NorthBeach Bar & Grill, and boy did they have that southern hospitality that we were looking for!! My advice to you, SKIP FANNIE'S and head straight to the lighthouse and then catch some true southern hospitality at NORTHBEACH BAR & GRILL!! Great customer service and wonderful cocktails!!

Is the upstairs ever open? We wanted to eat there today, upstairs! I've lived here for 5 years and only have been able to eat upstairs a couple times. We were there today. Best view of the beach CLOSED!!!!

It is usually only open Friday & Saturday nights. Used to be open all week during the season. We prefer to eat lunch. LESS crowds, shorter 2sit times, and a smaller bill. 3 wins. Same .food

Are you practicing social distancing to space out guests and requiring masks for guest & employees? Is there outdoor seating in winter months?

Yes they are so we left.

Do they have a limited menu right now? Does anyone have a picture of the limited menu?

Yes but there is still alot to choose from

Is there WiFi to do work?

Yes there is, just ask a waiter/waitress for the wifi password

Absolutely adding to our rotation for future visits! PS they don't take reservations. Large place, you won't wait too long and it's worth it. We had our fill of outside time, so opted for indoors (same amazing oceanview & AC!) Had a great table by the window, could see the ocean. What you find inside is a nicely appointed restaurant with a beautiful long bar which we highly recommend you eat at. Our bartender Christy was amazing. But more about her later, right now I will talk about the food. We started with the margarita scallops, which was chunks of seared scallops soaked in margarita on toasted wonton chips with a black bean corn, salsa and drizzle with a local aioli, YUM! We also had their fried green tomatoes, which came with apricot horseradish sauce and aoli. Kiki had the catch of the day, which was a grilled piece of grouper atop mediterranean couscous and a medley of mediterranean vegetables. I had the prime rib, which came with lobster Chili Churri butter and a brandy peppercorn sauce. Both entrees were amazing. Now back to our bartender Christie. To say that she wears many hats is an understatement. She greeted us when we sat at the bar, by the way, did I mention that you can reserve seats at the bar? She described the menu items in a way that you only expect to find from a waiter in the finest restaurants in the world. She addressed any and all allergy issues relating to these dishes all the while she is making drinks for patrons at the bar as well as handling the service bar for all the patrons in the restaurant. Without missing a beat, she takes our order.Buses plates from other customers and continues to make drinks for everybody in the restaurant. At this point I think I told her her new nickname should be the Flash. At one point during our dinner, we saw her serve a bottle of wine to another couple at the end of the bar. Her presentation was that of a full wine sommelier with pouring a taste for approval while showing the label of the bottle as she waited for the customers approval then pouring the glasses after approval was given. Do not get the coffee at Sea Wolf Tybee…read more In Sea Wolf's defense, our server told me as such. I ordered coffee, and he practically begged me not to. "Imagine Folgers... but worse," he said. I grew up on Eight O'Clock coffee--the only brand worse than Folgers-- so opted to brave the drip from Sea Wolf Tybee. How bad could it really be? Really bad. The Sea Wolf Tybee coffee was really, really, bad. The owners have made a deal with the barrier island devil where their successful establishment came at the expense of serving the worst coffee on earth. The coffee wasn't just bland, it was reeking with flavor, as if a tybee island horseshoe crab has been decaying in the coffee pot since the eatery was established in 2020. The server tried his hardest to prevent this 4-star review by warning me about the coffee, and in his defense the taste is not why I deducted Sea Wolf Tybee one star. I deducted one star because the vile 12oz cup of black drip coffee was $5 dollars. Like any diner at a lunch spot, I did not check the coffee's price before ordering it, assuming it'd be the standard $2-3 dollars. Even specialty coffee shops max their drip coffee prices at $4.50. Instead, Sea Wolf Tybee has opted to charge $5, rake-in a 95% profit margin, and exploit the trust of patrons who assume a cup of joe won't cost as much as Georgia's hourly minimum wage. I'm a former barista and coffee-lover, and $5 is the most expensive drip coffee I have ever encountered. Sea Wolf Tybee had outdone itself--the bill was more nauseating than the coffee.
