Complicated issue -- we had a new condenser installed by a different company, that was not able to make it work due to the difficulties accessing the indoor unit, that was installed in a closet. We got multiple rejections, saying they are not willing to deal with someone else's unfinished work. Decided to try Reardon to find a coolant leak. The repair person that arrived solo was very…read moreinexperienced. He only had a wand and said he couldn't find the leak. I asked him if he checked the back side of the furnace or if he had a light as there was dye in the system from another leak investigation and he said no. He called his boss and with a straight face offered to replace my AC and lines to address the leak. He also offered to add coolant. I said no, he left and they invoiced me. I called another company and within minutes found the leak at the TXV valve using a light to find the dye. They tightened the valve and wrapped it, added coolant and AC works. I do not recommend Reardon.

They went above and beyond to deal with a situation at our house that required the tanks to be moved and the insufficient copper runs (installed by the house flippers) to get completely replaced. They handled dealing with the town inspector and even dropped off a temporary tank to make sure we had no disruption to hot water while everything got figured out. I was very happy with how thorough they were to make sure everything was up to code and handled as "pretty" as two large tanks can be :) When I was shopping around I found that the prices at Eastern Propane were considerably cheaper than the previous chosen company the previous owner (flipper) had chosen. Akin to highway robbery if you ask me. I've met the delivery driver a few times and he also is very pleasant and welcoming. I feel like I'm in good hands and happy to be a customer!
