You know you had too much fun at the river when you have to purchase parts to fix the jet ski. I had my brother call around looking for the part I thought I needed (and a 20% restocking fee for returns) for the jet ski and David from parts was great; knowledgeable, friendly, patience (with my lack of knowledge on anything water sport related) and had a good sense of humor with my rant and raves. I initially thought he up-sold me when I thought I needed one part and he sold me 2 extras and that's not including the tool that we need to fix it. When given the mechanic all the materials, replacing the impeller (was what I thought was wrong) wasn't necessary because there wasn't that much damage to it but I needed to replace the other 2 things that he had me purchase because that was what was banged up and scratched. I don't know much about jet ski's but was happy to hear that I wasn't being up-sold and the jet ski got a new impeller just because. As you walk in you check in with the ladies upfront and are put on a waitlist which goes pretty fast, we only waited for a few minutes for our salesperson Luis. We were searching for a 4 seater Polaris or Can Am. Luis walked us over to the last Polaris 4 seater available, he was friendly and assisted us during our purchase along with the finance person which was very helpful and professional. But honestly the best part of all was the amazing service we received from Eduardo in the pickup department. He went above and beyond to help us, not once but twice. We went to Burt's on the referral of a friend. While their selection and showroom are awesome their salesman and staff are not. My husband was looking at a V-strom and asked the guy give him an out the door price based on the sales price tag of the bike. We waited for over 30 minutes to have the sales guy come back with a price. When we asked for the price we were "invited" to sit down so we could discuss the price. We just wanted the price no sit down no discussion. The sales guy refused to give it to us "in the middle of the store" so we walked to one of there many sitting areas and after refusing to sit down with him he finally gave us a price that was almost 4k over the sales price. My husband poitley told him no thanks, shook his hand and we started to walk out the door. We were then followed by him and two other sales people all practically shouting at us we wanted to pay for the bike & what was our price range. He even dropped the price 600.00 as we were walking. The proceeded to call us repeatedly but never left a voicemail. What a horrible experience and we won't be going back. After an hour of negotiating i finally got it down to a price i was happy with. They also go over basic operation of the vehicle before you take it off the lot. I was a returning customer to Bert's Mega Mall because of their wide selection. I've ever had to experience the lack of customer service until now. When buying a vehicle here, the financing officer pushes aggressively to sell you the extended warranty. This warranty isn't worth the paper it's printed on. My Can Am X3 had a rattling issue so I had service department look at it and was hoping it would be covered by the extended warranty. And it wasn't ... I was denied and given no reason why. I decided to pick up the car and handle the repairs on my own. I spoke to the service manager regarding the issue. He then mention the bulletin which addresses the issue. He then asked himself why it wasn't fixed. Management should really be on top of their staff. The manager should always step in when a costumer is unsatisfied with the outcome of their provider service. I was very annoyed with the way service management was ineffective. I then picked up my car and took it to tri-city in Simi Valley. Got it repaired with no issue and didn't even need my extended warranty. BMM is a shitty dealer with wreck less management read more

After buying my Seadoo from Berts Mega Mall a used demo with only 10 hours on it I had to take it in to be repaired paid around $1300 because the warranty did not cover the damages to the Seadoo whats the point of a warranty ill never know . The staff is rude the mechanic is rude I actually let that go brought it in again for service after another 10 hours of riding it starts acting weird but yet again the staff is rude they wanna charge you more money to fix the same exact thing they fixed the previous time calling it normal wear and tare which is not correct the same problem after 10 hours of riding is not normal . Bikes are not cheap to maintain, especially a Ducati. That's on me, not Bert's, but even then they feel my pain and do what they can to cut me some slack. This time the whole assembly for my kickstand needed work, so I brought it in and found the estimated repairs to be around $300! My heart sank when Joe broke that to me, but what could I do? Then without my prompting, he said he'll try to run the repair through my warranty and it went through! I don't know how long I'll have the Ducati (I hope forever, costs and family permitting) but should I ever purchase another bike or have it serviced, this will be the place to get it done! Big shoutout to Joe, Neo, and Jordan! There may be a few others but unfortunately I can't recall the names. Both were helpful, friendly, and hardworking - happily serving hours that would make sailors and prostitutes whinge with way more time on foot. Bert's has an impressive inventory and infrastructure. You can get what you want there. NOTE: David and Vince get 5 stars. Cons: Every slimy thing you hate about dealerships is present and accounted for, and Bert's is more morally questionable than Roman Polanski at a co-ed drinking contest. Every sticker has "ADM" on it - that's additional dealer markup, which is a way a dealership can say that a vehicle is one price but lie and charge you a different one. This ADM is *thousands* on every sticker. As a former salesman, I recognize this as a way that salesmen and management "get the customer's thinking up." Up your bottom, is more like it. Do you have to pay it? No way. Car salesmen and their managers lie like normal people breathe, so I wasn't surprised by the usual exaggerations and half-truths pretty much everyone told us. I did laugh when we came back on a promised six-months-same-as-cash deal we agreed upon and were told that it "was lost." This with 770 credit. Finance managers need to make money too, yo. My advice: Go there and select what you want, then go home and do the entire deal by email, INCLUDING the paperwork generation. I promise you that they will tell you that there is no way they can do that, and I promise you that yes, they can. Scratch out that f***ing ADM for starters. Also, while it's your choice on aftermarket warranties, just know that they are insanely marked up and very often of questionable utility.
