Uhh, WOW! This place is fantastic! A friend recommended Rang's to us and it didn't disappoint. Everything looked super appealing on the menu but I had to go with the Foie Gras Truffle Mushroom Risotto. I can't tell you for phenomenal it was. Even as a leftover! The Foie Gras was melt in your mouth buttery and the truffle mushroom flavor in the risotto was epic. My husband had the squid ink risotto with scallops which was also amazing and we split some appetizers as a group. There wasn't a single dish that wasn't impressive. This is definitely a hidden gem tucked away in a shopping center on Jones & Charleston. Definitely check this place out and come hungry!

I work across the street from the gem of a restaurant located in a plain strip mall near the auto supply place...but I never knew the deliciousness that lay behind the doors. We were greeted by Benedict the co-owner and proud husband of the chef. He described the story behind the menu, awards for the food and was very cheerful and helpful. Everything we ordered was wonderfully flavorful and cooked perfectly. The shrimp and chorizo appetizer was served with slightly toasted slices of fresh bread. I could have eater a huge bowl of these and been happy. The croquettes were the best I've ever had. Light and soft a full of flavor. Entrees were generous portions. The foie gras was silky and soft served over the star of the night truffle risotto. The beef cheeks and mashed potatoes were a warm hug of comfort . We literally wiped both plates clean. The chef graciously came out to chat with us and she is charming. Always happy to see a skilled female chef running a restaurant. Girl Power!! I can't wait to come back and try something new from this great menu.

What a special place. We've been wanting to come to Rang's since the chef won the Rising Star award from the Nevada Restaurant Association. Rang's feels like -- and basically is -- being a dinner guest in the owner couple's home. Dad is out front welcoming diners and mom is in the kitchen over the stove. The best dishes on the menu are truly remarkable. The tender lengua salpicao will convert tongue skeptics. The bacalao croquettes were each a perfect crispy, creamy bite. The potatoes Anna that came with both the fish Florentine and the octopus were worth the trip by themselves. That's no insult to the fish or the octopus, but this was a magic trick accomplished with potatoes and butter. The braised beef cheek was an unctuous bowl of comfort. It was somehow fine dining and also Grandma's pot roast. The famous pasta aligue didn't move us. We enjoyed it, but thought the shrimp and sauce were...fine. Maybe the crabs had an off night? Likewise, the shrimp cake salad was a nice appetizer to share, but not something we would order again when the other dishes are so memorable. At the end of the meal, Rang came out to thank us and shyly accept our applause. We're very lucky to have treasures like Rang's in our new hometown.

This place is a 10 out of 10. I found out about this restaurant from social media, funny thing is multiple friends sent me the same one so I took it as a sign for me to check it out. There's plenty of parking in the strip mall type of location. The restaurant itself is not that big. I liked the modern minimalist look, it was chic and appealing to me. The menu looks like a Filipino/Italian/Spanish/French blend of items and I'm here for it. My friends and I ordered a bunch of different items. Not pictured was the vegan steak only because I forgot and was eagerly eating my slow braised beef cheek. That was the star of the show tonight. I could have easily gone back the following day to order it again. It was that delicious. I also was a fan of their lengua salpicao. My friends and I were talking about how tender it was. I've had lengua (tongue) before but it seemed to be chewy and a bit tough, but this was nothing like that and it was flavored very well. Service was impeccable, Benedict is awesome and was patient with us and explained the different dishes. Chef Rang stopped by to see how we were doing. All in all, this was a great find. When I come back next time, I'd love to try their carbonara (I love carbonaras), chilean sea bass, foie gras with truffled mushroom risotto, any of the croquettes, and a dessert. The bread looks amazing too. So I guess, basically, I'd like to try just about everything on their menu!

The mushroom soup was a great way to start the meal, rich, earthy, and comforting without being too heavy. The lengua salpicao was the standout for us. The beef was incredibly tender, packed with flavor, and the sauce was so good we ended up ordering a second plate. The bistek was another winner, perfectly balanced with just the right amount of savory and tang. The squid ink risotto was delicious, creamy, and full of seafood flavor without being overpowering. Every dish felt well balanced and left you wanting just one more bite instead of feeling overly full. That's always a good sign. We enjoyed everything we ordered and will definitely be back to try more of the menu.

I am very impressed with this restaurant and honestly kind of upset I don't know about this place sooner! This restaurant is a hidden gem. Chef Rang and Benedict run a very tight ship, offer amazing bites, and the ambiance of the restaurant is a true mom and pop vibe. From the front of house experience to getting to speak to the chef, it makes the experience that much more personal. Now the food- is not short of amazing. The MUST HAVES- Lengua Salpicai, slow braised beef cheek, Chilean sea bass, and the Aligue with Garlic Shrimp! My mom literally cleaned off her plate! Everything was flavorful but well balanced, and it was a very generous portion of food! I left feeling satisfied and excited to try more things on the menu. Thank you to the team at Rang's, we will see you again very soon!

Cheesecake has a Unique combination of flavors. A must try!

A must-try! Reconocido la semana pasada cómo uno de los 100 mejores Restaurantes en Las Vegas, en el Review Jornal! Excellent place to eat! The food is modern, creative, and beautifully presented, with an amazing blend of Spanish, Italian, and Asian influences. Every dish we tried had its own personality and was full of flavor. The squid ink risotto with perfectly seared scallops was absolutely delicious, and the other dishes were just as impressive. The presentation, flavors, and attention to detail made the whole experience special. If you enjoy contemporary cuisine and trying something different, you must try this place! Definitely a restaurant I would come back to and recommend.

Last night I had the pleasure of dining at Rang on West Charleston, and it truly exceeded all expectations. Before ordering, I checked reviews and spoke with a couple of guests, everyone strongly recommended the Chilean Sea Bass, and they were absolutely right. The dish, served in a light coconut cream sauce, was perfectly cooked, delicate, and full of flavor without being heavy. Easily one of the best dishes I've had. My friend ordered the Lengua Salpicao (marinated beef tongue), which I wouldn't try, but my friend stated it was outstanding and clearly a must-try for those open to it. I ordered the Prosciutto & Goat Cheese brochettes, and they were fresh, well-balanced, and delicious. What truly made the experience special was the service. Our server, restaurant owner Benedict was exceptional. He took the time to connect with us, ask where we were from, and create a genuinely warm and personal experience. It felt more like being welcomed into someone's home than dining out. The restaurant itself is small and intimate, but beautifully decorated with a relaxed ambiance and great music that made the entire evening enjoyable. Rang is a true family-run gem. Chef Rang, Benedict's wife delivers food that honestly belongs at a Michelin five-star level, this is the kind of place you root for because you know it deserves recognition. Highly recommend. I'll definitely be back.

All the dishes were delicious and our server was very attentive and helpful. I definitely will come back to try their other options!

    Bistek Tagalog à la Rang's.
    Ross D.

Was innocently searching for "the best Bistek Tagalog in Vegas" when several (effusive) reviews mentioned Rang's Cocina Moderne New York Steak version. The reviews were not wrong. Perfectly prepared New York, delicious yet subtle citrus / soy sauce with onions. Large and luscious--a new take on a Filipino classic. We got stellar, personalized service from Benedict and a dessert visit from his wife, Chef Rang. These folks are clearly proud of their food and service, and it shows in every aspect of the meal. Other dishes included a perfect Chilean Seabass in a sauce that was favorably reminiscent of Tom Kha Gai, a delightful mushroom asparagus pasta, fresh and zesty chorizo croquettes, and an irresistible homemade focaccia (with sourdough starter from an upscale Filipino restaurant in Chicago that shall remain nameless). Though located in a strip mall of sorts, the place is lovely. The interior decor is gorgeous and unobtrusive, new and clean and about as sweet as you can get from any place without cloth napkins or shocking bills. Damn near perfect. We're coming back, and we're bringing reinforcements.

Atmosphere: Very cute, a modern and clean Family owned (husband is the server and wife is the chef). Chef Rang and her husband Benedict are very friendly and welcoming. Ambiance: Small, modern, very clean, trendy, cozy Food tastes homemade. We started with lengua salpicado and pulpo and it melted in our mouth! My husband and I shared croquetas and were impressed! Next, we tried the Chilean Sea Bass topped with a coconut milk based sauce that we could not get enough of. We definitely recommend this restaurant.

Such a fun and warm experience dining at Rang's Cocina Moderne. This place had been on my to-try list for a while, but never found the chance to go until my smog check was right next door. My partner and I hadn't made a reservation, but got extremely lucky because there was a table of two left. Benedict introduced himself as the owner with his wife, the chef! He was very nice and helped us decide on what to order. We tried croquettes, very tender and well seasoned beef tongue, fish florentine with a delicate spinach cream sauce we ate up, and aligue with garlic shrimp that was deliciously garlicky! Looking forward to coming back and trying the rest of the menu!!

Ferraro's Saved Me a Flight to Italy!…read more Hey y'all! Okay, so listen... y'all might have to sit down for this one Y'all apparently I don't need to book a flight to Italy because Ferraro's Ristorante brought Italy right to my front door! And yes, I said front door, because I had my food delivered. Before I even get to the food, can we talk about the CARE they put into this delivery? Everything was packaged and sealed so well. Nothing looked like somebody just tossed it into a bag and said, "Next!" Even the utensils were wrapped and presented with care. Y'all know I notice the little things, and to me, that says a lot about a restaurant. Now let's get to the FOOD! I ordered the lasagna, and y'all... YESSS! Rich, saucy, cheesy, meaty and comforting. This was the kind of lasagna that makes you get quiet for a minute because talking is interfering with eating. Ferraro's, y'all just saved me airfare to Italy! They also included fresh bread that's made fresh daily, let me tell y'all about that olive oil! This wasn't just some plain little cup of oil tossed into the bag. You could actually SEE the seasonings settled at the bottom. I gave it a little stir, dipped that bread in there, added some of the cheese they provided and Y'ALL! That olive oil had FLAVOR! The bread soaked it right up. Something so simple made the meal feel even more like an Italian restaurant experience--right at my own table. And THEN came the CHEESECAKE! Y'all, that cheesecake was delicious! Creamy, smooth and topped with berry sauce and fresh strawberries, blueberries, blackberries. And they were NOT stingy with those berries either! The creamy cheesecake with the sweet-tart fruit was the perfect ending to the meal. What really impressed me was that although this was a delivery order, I still felt the care Ferraro's puts into its food and presentation. From how securely everything was sealed and packaged, to the utensils, bread, seasoned olive oil, cheese, lasagna and that beautiful cheesecake--it felt like somebody actually cared about the experience I was going to have when I opened that bag. Anywhoddles... if you're in Las Vegas craving Italian food and don't have Italy airfare sitting around, you might want to give Ferraro's a try. Because apparently, Italy delivers! I'll definitely boomerang back to this spot. See y'all in my next review!

Our visit was great, as always! We've been eating here for a number of years, both locations…read more The service was great, as was the food. We ordered the chopped salad as an appetizer and got our usual, the nduja spread for the sourdough. We were informed that they had recently made a change to mixing the nduja with butter. Even though the nduja was always great, it never spread well and it was challenging to keep it on the bread. The new change to turning it into a butter was amazing. Side note......we will be ordering the brussels on the next trip without the teens. That's our preferred appetizer as they are so good and I missed having them, but it would've been too much food. My teens got their usual, a diavola pie (pizza) and the zucca. We were informed the zucca was now made with a white sauce instead of a red sauce. I thought that would be an issue, but my son said it was fine. After the meal, he said he enjoyed the white sauce a lot more. My other son finished off the pizza on his own. No leftovers there. My husband got the osso buco and loved it. I tried the agnolotti, and oh my gosh, it was absolutely amazing! We're returning in a few weeks due to Broadway tickets and I will most definitely be ordering that dish again if it's still on the menu. My kids ordered the budino "pudding" and I ordered the coconut semifreddo. The semifreddo was very creatively put together in a "coconut" shell, topped with fruit, and it was fantastic. I felt a bit guilty even though my husband didn't want dessert and I let him eat the last few bites. I like to work my way around the dessert menu, but I may have to get the semifreddo again when we return in a few weeks. Esther's Kitchen has been an amazing addition to our Vegas community.
