The bottom line: these guys know what they're doing, they know how to fix what's wrong with you and are really responsive to your particular needs. I don't need the fancy pants spa, when I do, I'll pay through the nose for it. What I needed was pain relief and I got it. I just returned from my first experience here about an hour ago, and I feel amazing! I had a prenatal massage with Lynette, who is a newer practitioner there, and she was awesome! I am 32 weeks and basically everything from my belly down hurts like a ran a marathon, but especially sciatic and hip pain. She concentrated there after she consulted with me and really worked those areas well. I had another prenatal massage about 10 weeks ago and it was nowhere near as effective. The location is odd, but the rooms are set up peacefully and simply and you don't really need too much else (as long as you're cool to go home and shower). It was also much more reasonable than the others I checked out (I bought the Yelp deal for first timers but see that they offer deals often). Highly recommended! read more

I purchased a groupon late last night and made an appointment this morning with Michael. I have been experiencing horrible pain all week and after a trip to the doctor proved futile, I decided to give massage a try. I could not find a short notice appointment anywhere else--so happy I found Body Techniques. Michael was a wonderful masseuse, he paid careful attention to my back and explained what he was doing to relieve the tension and pain. He also showed me some stretches to help with the pain. I have been to Body Techniques many times for massage. I had been going there for years for massage and had the BEST therapist ever... he just left so I am working on finding my new favorite therapist there... However, it is a great place to go for a massage... and great prices! Lots of therapists to select from. However, this review is about the acupuncture services by Hamid! I have been suffering insomnia for 5 weeks now. I have been sleeping about 4 hours a night and have been awake around 2am for the day. So after much hesitation, I decided to try the acupuncture services. I was encouraged by the office staff as I greatly feared the pain of the needles. I do not like needles or usually seek or voluntarily get needles injected in me! So reluctantly I scheduled the acupuncture and massage combo package and figured that if nothing else, I would get a massage at the end of it. However, Hamid is an amazing man! He is caring, sensitive and very intune to your needs! Somehow surviving on so little sleep, I am not really the same person today as I would normally be. I am quite sensitive and he is very understanding to this and very helpful! He is encouraging... and comes up with a plan of treatment to try to address all of your needs. He started out with a very "easy" and non aggressive treatment plan as he didn't want to scare me... I found the needle treatment to be relaxing and not painful. You can sometimes tell that the needles are being inserted... and surprisingly, sometimes you cannot even tell. And most surprisingly, it's especially "painless" in areas like the face, ears, and throat. I really expected it to be more noticeable. I have been seen for 3 treatments now. I have to say I have noticed that my sleep has slowly improved. It is still not 100% normal... but there's more to my sleep issues than can be solved by acupuncture... but it is definitely helping me to be calmer and sleep more... If you are considering acupuncture, I would highly recommend seeing Hamid! He is wonderful and you will not be disappointed! read more

This was a great first experience. A little hard to find (it's in a large industrial business plaza) but once you're inside it's beautiful and spacious, clean and calming. I had a 1-hour Swedish massage with Mikeh who was great. She made me feel super comfortable and really honed-in on my trouble spots, and also gave me some good tips for addressing these tight aches at home between massages. The rooms were very private and quiet with a nice heated table and it smelled good too I am interested next time to do the massage/facial package. This review is for the FACIAL service at Body Technique. I came here with the LivingSocial coupon -- $44 for one hour Customize Facial. Niki is the only aesthetician there. Pros: - Their online appointment booking system works pretty well. Easy to make appointment. - People there are nice and friendly - The room is nice and clean Cons: - The facial is just ok. I've been to many different spas for facial and this one was not impressive. - The extraction was quite painful but not thorough. I told Niki to pay special attention to the chin area, but when she got to the chin area she said my face has become too cold for more extraction. -Niki suggested a vitamin C enrich mask to me (knowing that my skin is a bit sensitive). It felt a bit tingling while having the mask. However, one day after the facial, my cheek area became so dry and started to peel off. Two days after skin on my nose area started to peel off. -My skin finally recovered in slightly more than one week....The mask Niki suggested was not the right one for me I will say. That concludes my 3-star experience at Body Technique. They might have excellent massage service, but I think the facial service (as a new add) needs improvement. read more

It nice that he was on it and really wants to make sure people have a good experience. I think that I just had a bum experience and so I'm kind of over it. I was there a week ago . I called the place and made the same day appointment at 4:00pm ( it was Thursday ) ! This was my first time there!! At 4:00pm I arrived and I was sitting in the waiting room !! And I got an call from the front desk , after I finished with the phone , i realized I went to the wrong location which is 15 mins away !! The therapist was very pleasant and attentive and made sure to check in periodically during the massage. This type of massage is priced at $75 regularly but I had a Yelp deal which decreased the price to $50. If the price for this massage was $60 to $65 I could see myself returning. This place is definitely out in the boonies, but the trek is worth it. Last night the fiance and I had incredible massages. We were running 15 minutes late and we were the last appointments of the day, so I felt bad for keeping the staff waiting, but they were completely professional and welcoming and took their time with us. For the fiance it was is first professional massage ever, and he couldn't believe how good he felt afterwards. For myself, I can say that Tracy gave one of the best massages I've ever had. This place is a savior for my pain wrecked body! I thought I would grin and bear my pain these past couple of days with salon pas and some Tylenol but my whole back has tightened up causing me misery. I called them at 10am right when they opened and they were able to schedule me for a deep tissue massage with Cindy Sosa. Cindy was excellent. Deep tissue is her specialty and she was spot on about where all the pain points were and even found some I did not was present. Time fleetest during that comfortable session. My only regret was not booking a 90 mins with her. Next time. The rates here are very reasonable and they are open 7 days a week. The only drawback is this place is rather out of the way and a little difficult to find so here's the tip: it is close to the raiders HQ. read more

We were met by our therapists, Lauren and Nick. They were excellent therapists. While they had distinct styles, they were intuitive to both our needs.
