Mary is amazing. Y'all even need to ask? But seriously, it takes a long time for me to find a competent MT and body worker. Many simply don't have the strength or experience to deal with the way my body twists itself up, Mary is one of the most amazing therapists I've had, and I've only had 4 since 1998. With the exception of one who simply didn't have the body strength or technique to provide me with adequate relief, the other 3 I held on to and kept as long as possible because of the relief they've been able to provide. I asked for extractions. At reception room, the reception was wonderful she mentioned about extractions, and I immediately said I wanted to have them and the girl who cleaned my face, but never did any extractions at all and I woke up because I went to sleep and she was done with my facial and never touched anything about my face for extractions. I'm furious. The receptionist was wonderful. But the aesthetician was horrible never extracted ANYTHING. When I left she gave me your card and water and "maybe for next time maybe a the micro abrasion". And the aesthetician heard when we were at the reception area. So seeing that she knew i wanted extractions... she just figured because I was sleeping. Horrible Never go get a facial from this place. Its been almost a month from the fake facial and NOT ONE PERSON has contacted me, called me, emailed me... nothing. But that still emailing me for services. When I tried to UNSUBSCRIBE for their"email blasts" they don't even have a domain to unsubscribe. Meaning they don't care nor are a real business. Horrible!!!! read more

I came to Bespoke for my first ever massage yesterday and I'm so happy with my experience! I booked a one hour deep tissue massage with a coupon off Groupon and had Latasha as my massage therapist. Latasha was amazing -- I highly recommend her and I'm definitely booking my next massage with her again. Not to be dramatic, but my massage with Latasha made me a new person. I work with computers all day so I had been struggling with persistent shoulder and neck tightness, but that was all taken care of by the massage. I haven't felt this "loose" in so long. Latasha and I also bonded over some shared interests so I'm really glad I had her as my massage therapist. I already can't wait to go back! Highly recommend getting the hot towels as an add on. After all these years and through all the changes pre and post pandemic, I'm still a fan of this place and am always happy to support this small business. My go-to therapists are always Sahar, Karla, and Dawn. They are all AMAZING. Due to scheduling restraints, I recently chose Piet for a massage and she was also equally AMAZING. Usually I think of massage therapy as preventative care. Piet's style of a mixture of Thai, myofacial, and acupressure massage made me realize that my body can move in ways I didn't think possible. She not only is a gift herself, but her massage therapy is a gift in and of itself! Sometimes it's a good thing to try a different therapist and type of massage, so give Piet a try! Meriem is a wonderful aesthetician and her facials are super pampering! Another excellent person to try at bespoke wellness. Two things up! Review is for their massage and acupuncture service. I scheduled a session for an hour massage and acupuncture consultation/session. Both services were good quality in the value and attentiveness that the practitioners provided and in their knowledge of their given profession. My masseuse used his knowledge of several modalities to cater a massage session that targeted my head, neck, shoulders and back. I left feeling relaxed and refreshed. The acupuncturist also had a nice bedside manner. I will definitely go back for additional/follow-up sessions to continue with my wellness/self-care regimen. They also have a monthly membership plan for all their services (massage, chiro, acupuncture, yoga) which seems reasonably priced too. read more

I really liked my therapist and he did a great job. Unfortunately i wont go back because i had to cancel my appointment giving 7 hours notice because the owner whose home Im house sitting for has a sick cat so she made a vet appointment for them at the same time as my appointment. It was out of my control! I explained this and i have never cancelled before. So apparently no matter the reason, im required to pay 50% of the price even though they have 7 hours to fill the spot. This is a little ridiculous. I couldnt give 24 hours notice because it just happened. Thanks Bespoke, ill find another place to go. read more

They have a Yelp deal too where you pay $63 for a $90 deal. So, Body Techniques is tucked away in a commercial building. The receptionist was really nice and got us all checked in. My masseuse was Caitlyn and my fiance's was Taliah. They were both nice ladies and he actually enjoyed his massage! Said she used a good amount of pressure and he was sore the next day. The last time we went to get massages (another location), he said his masseuse had trouble applying more pressure, seemed tired and was huffin' n puffin'. Lol. We don't get massages often (like once or twice a year) but I'd definitely keep this place in mind. Restrooms are in another suite. read more

I went on Groupon one day because I desperately needed a massage and this was the most affordable and closest spot to me. The Groupon deal was $60 for an hour massage of your choice. I'm the type of person that doesn't enjoy Shiatsu, Swedish or anything like that. I really want the masseuse to get into all my knots and aches and really put work in, so I went for the deep tissue massage. It was so worth it because I left feeling less stiff than I was going in. Even the next day, when you're especially sore and tender, you know it definitely worked. For those of you who work at a desk all day and forget to get up and stretch every hour, this place is your remedy! I know it's bad to not remember to get up and move around, but sometimes you're just so preoccupied that you forget. The masseuse even showed me a few stretches that I could do in the morning, noon and at night to alleviate the stress and prevent aching in the future. Christina was super friendly and fun to talk to, even though typically, I'd rather just lay down, relax and say nothing. I think the Groupon was worth it, even the Yelp deal is worth it. Unfortunately, it's only for new members so you can't get this deal again :(. They accept these deals mostly Monday through Thursday, so you'd have to go after work or something. I'm not someone who can afford to come every month, but definitely every few months if I'm feeling tension or stiff again. They have a variety of services like facials and I even saw people coming here for yoga classes. Pretty cool facility if you ask me. Doesn't really feel like a spa necessarily, more like an office, but not too shabby. read more

I started coming here a number of years ago. Don't let the location fool you, this place is legit. It is friendly and super comfortable. I have primarily come for massages (although one time I did get a pretty great facial). After my first massage with Tommy I have been loyal. Tommy listens, and pays attention to your needs. Tommy is responsive and careful to make your experience great. I feel respected and genuinely heard as it relates to the pain of my body. Great time and care are taken to make sure the massage is exactly what I need. I walk away in a much better physical place than when I arrived. My range of motion is improved greatly. read more

I don't know if I just keep getting mismatched with massage therapists or what, but this is the third time in a row I've booked a deep tissue massage wherein the therapist hardly worked on my problem areas. Today's massage was much more of a Swedish massage than deep tissue--felt nice, briefly passed knots and tight tissue, but didn't really do much pointed, intense spot work on the areas I needed. You can't just foam-roll out a tight piriformis and illacus to relieve inner pelvic and hip pain--nor can you address it with long swoops of the forearm. They both require deep work, which did not happen here. This is a far cry from my first few sessions here, where I felt appropriately pummeled and the therapist took care to really try to resolve the issues giving me pain. I guess if there's a next time I'll try asking them to only work on specific spots and see if the message gets through? Otherwise, the facility is clean, smells nice, has good relaxing music, and seems generally well-appointed. read more

I booked a 2 hour massage and spent a fair amount of time discussing what I did and did not want for the massage session. I was aiming for a nice, relaxing Swedish massage and I asked for a therapist who would be attentive to my request. I am a licensed massage therapist for 20 years, and I've run a very large chain of day spas for over a decade, managing 85 therapists, so I come to the "table" with experience and clarity on what I'd like in a session. Typically, spelling these details out adds to the success of a spa or massage session. I had precious few days in Alameda and looked forward to my massage. Upon check in, I was not given an intake form, and I requested one. Sarah, the receptionist obliged. The therapist did an intake, extolling her training in Toronto. I felt at that point I would enjoy my massage. I wiped me feet with the towel I requested and hopped on the table. Sahar was the therapist. The beginning 20 minutes and final 15 minutes of the 2 hour massage were all that I enjoyed. Starting face down (prone), I looked forward to some nice back work, having noted in our conversation that I'd like extra time on the back. While the therapist worked on my posterior legs, she went deep into the upper popliteal fossa area (an endangerment zone on the back of the knee), which was uncalled for and inappropriate for, especially in a light - medium pressure massage. If you've booked a 2 hour massage, and you've asked for extra back work, one would think you'd be face down for close to half of the time. After apx. 40 minutes I was asked to you turn over. That's when things started to go downhill. The therapist massaged my anterior legs while moving around the table on a squeaky chair. This is a lazy move. Listening to the squeak of the chair was grating. The table was electric, and I'm not bigger than the therapist; it is just plain lazy to sit while massaging the legs. I was her first client of the day, so she should not have been tired. Then presumably to use up some time on the clock, Sahar worked deeply into my underarm region (also considered an endangerment zone). I asked her to lighten up; it's not appropriate for any deep work in this area; it was random and uncalled for. The therapist ended the massage with some nice occipital holds and I found myself relaxing again. I didn't receive the hot towel upgrade I paid for, but at this point I just wanted to be done with the experience. I paid my bill and asked to use the ladies room. I was directed out of the office down the hall and the restroom was locked. Before leaving I asked Sarah the receptionist to have the owner call me. I never received the call back, and two days later I phoned the Bespoke Wellness number and asked again to speak with the owner. I was rudely advised that I should call back, try the next day. No unhappy guest should have to repeatedly seek out an owner to provide constructive feedback. A few days went by and Arch the new manager called me and we chatted. While she was kind and thoughtful, she is not a therapist, and my goal was still to have the therapist in question given guidance on providing guests what they are paying for, not her special-special massage that could hurt someone. The manager assured me that I would hear from the owner either via email or phone. It's been several weeks since my 2 hour massage and still have not heard from the owner. I am not a Groupon/discount person; I'm happy to pay full price for a quality massage service. I received a poor quality massage and the owners did not even have the courtesy to reach out to me. I will not return; rather I will seek out an establishment that listens to a client's goals and honors their investment of time and money. read more

Update: Came here for an "anti-aging" facial on sunday morning 10/14/18 because I enjoyed my previous full body massage so much. They only had one person doing facial, and I believe her name was Jennifer. She was a friendly and nice person, I enjoyed a conversation with her. Facial strokes were slightly rough - I just thought that was her style. I didn't expect any acne extraction at the end though. I had only a couple healing under my chin that were not noticeable prior to entering. However, from a couple to now being more noticeable and 3 more have grown. I thouhht the extraction should've helped the 2 existing ones but it was actually triggered and I have a couple important events to go to. I don't think I'd return for another facial... I wish it would've worked out though. I had an absolutely amazing experience here! My massage therapist was Caitlyn and I couldn't be any more happier with her massaging skills. I called in to book and the front desk was helpful and professional. It's slightly confusing when you first come to this location because it locates inside a big building and makes you wonder, are you at the wrong spot? Came in to find out they also have 2 massaging chairs inside their little lounge with water and coffee that you can help yourself. Caitlyn was on time, she came to grab me and led me to the massaging room. I really enjoyed her massage - smooth strokes and I was able to relax, almost fall asleep several times. I liked that the place is kinda hidden within a quiet business park. Staff is friendly, and the receptionist made an effort to fit me in, hearing my discomfort. My masseuse was very knowledgeable, saying she had been a therapist for over 10 years. Sareena used a technique that was new to me, but I was very happy to be relieved of sooo much tension and pain in my back. She was extremely thorough, even massaging my scalp, all fingers and toes. I'm still waiting for my call back. I was told on 1/15/24 that someone named Kamoni would try to reach out to the owners. I have repeatedly asked for them to look at their corporate bank account for any deposits made on 1/8/24 with the card number ending in 8688. But nothing. Crickets. I still haven't been refunded my money back from the merchant. Do not use your card here!!! Like others have echoed, customer service is not present at this establishment. It's basic common sense to refund customers their money on unauthorized charges especially when the customers providing evidence of a postage charge with your business name on there. What does it cost you as a business to refund someone $20? Customer Service is not using a professional voice or calling a customer because you saw their Yelp review. Customer Service is following through. Common sense lacks here. Go up the chain of command and escalate the issue. I'm still waiting to get my money back from the merchant. My card has been on hold since 1/11/24. I haven't been able to use it. Just waiting patiently for the merchant to refund me $20 for an unauthorized charge. If your receptionist accidentally charged a tip $20 from my card when I told her I would tip cash after the massage, then get my money back from the therapist. Run back the cameras. I'm so happy they are open again! I've consistently received great bodywork from their staff. I recently went and got a massage from Sunny. She was very helpful and responded to all my specific requests. As well, she does fantastic pressure point and reflexology work, as well as relaxing Swedish massage. She is very skilled and knowledgable and I highly recommend her. The staff is doing a good job with safety protocols as well. They have you do a survey to ensure you are covid free and they take your temperature. Everything is cleaned and sanitized regularly. Bespoke is situated within a corporate office building, which means there is plenty of parking. It's also right across from the Raiders Headquarters, making for good people watching for all you football fans. I've been seeing Nick for trigger point massages on and off for the last few years. I like my massages to really work out the kinks; Nick is a pro. I've never had someone find trigger points in my hands and forearms. Honest to heck, getting them worked on is life changing (especially for a desk monkey like me). I don't have to tell him what to work on (even though he always asks), he can sense the knots, often finding trigger points I didn't know I had. The front of house staff are always really sweet and make it so easy to book and reschedule appointments. I also appreciate that they send you text reminders before your appointments.
