Do not purchase any bundle appliances package. Went into Best Buy with the SKU# of the appliance I wanted to purchase. Samsung Black Stainless-Steel Refrigerator/ Freezer Samsung Stainless Steel Dishwasher Samsung Stainless-Steel Range Samsung Stainless-Steel Microwave over the range. I paid more than $3,000 for everything. This purchase was made in the store 8/4. I selected delivery date 8/8. The day before my scheduled delivery date I receive a text message with a link to click to schedule the delivery and installation for my appliances. So, I clicked the link which populated another page showing me the soonest delivery and install date would be 8/13. I told the Best Buy employee that I had been without a fridge/freezer since 8/1 and I have been living out of a mini refrigerator and so I would not wait until 8/13 for the delivery. I was told to call the warehouse and check on the order. Warehouse told me that the product was out of stock, and they were supposed to be receiving a delivery from the manufacture that day or the follow day and they hadn't received any of the products. I went online and noticed I could place an order online for delivery date of 8/11 instead of 8/13. I thought would canceling the first order and re purchasing the order online so I could have a sooner delivery date. Then I called competitor dealers who had the same delivery date expectation of Monday 8/11. So, I called Best Buy to cancel my order and requested s full refund. I was put on hold multiple times for 5-8 minutes each time. It was hard to understand the customer service person because of her strong accent. read more

On October 3, 2025, I returned a product to the Georgetown, TX Best Buy store for $648.48 (Order #691-44-1650-100325). Since that time, I have made repeated attempts to receive my refund in the form of store credit, as the original gift cards (xxxxxxxxxxxx3508 & xxxxxxxxxxxx0572) issued were nonfunctional. Over the past several months, I have been given multiple assurances from Best Buy representatives that replacement gift cards--either physical or digital--would be issued. None of these commitments have been fulfilled. Best Buy has retained my returned product while failing to provide a usable refund. Throughout this process, I have been given inaccurate and inconsistent information, including repeated guarantees that were not honored. These misrepresentations resulted in a financial benefit to Best Buy, as they kept the returned product, and a direct financial loss to me as the customer, as I have not received access to my refund. I have made numerous good-faith attempts to resolve this through customer service. Instead, I have been placed in a repeated cycle of contacting support, waiting for promised resolutions that do not occur, and having to start over again. There is no effective escalation path, and both in-store and online representatives have been unable to resolve the issue. This situation involves clear misrepresentation, financial benefit to the company, and financial harm to the customer. I have been a long-time Best Buy customer and have purchased multiple appliances and electronics from them for years. This experience has significantly changed my perception of the company. The last interaction I had with Bestbuy under case 374884247 stated that "within 17 business days I was guaranteed a valid gift card delivered to my property" but as stated none of the previous guarantees made by Best Buy have actualized. This was by far the worst experience I've ever had at a Best Buy. I went in to pick up an online order, and not one, not two, but three employees told me that since I purchased a 98" TV, I qualified for free delivery and mounting. After more than an hour of them going back and forth trying to figure it out, they finally admitted they couldn't fix it in the system and later told me that it was actually a mistake on their end -- that the free services don't apply to my TV. They completely wasted our time and still couldn't resolve the issue. To make matters worse, the manager, Mia, was extremely unhelpful and disrespectful. She lacked professionalism and basic customer service skills. After spending this much money, the least I expected was respect and honesty. Customer service was pretty terrible. I had a car radio installed, and before the install, I got a quote printed out to compare to other companies. When I returned to place the order, the price was significantly higher than my quote, and they refused to honor it. The customer service rep I spoke with kept claiming he didn't know who gave me the quote, but they were incorrect. Turns out, he made the original quote. No ownership of his couple hundred dollar mistake. The install experience was even worse. It took significantly longer than expected. When I picked up my car, I noticed a strong static noise coming through the radio, but the technician didn't even acknowledge it. I now have to take the car back in for a 2nd appointment. If there were compatibility issues, I should have been notified before the install even took place. It's been a headache! read more

This is more about Best Buy online orders than the local store. on 2 Jan 23 I ordered a refrigerator to be delivered. Scheduled delivery was for 9 Jan 23 between 0900 and 1300. The delivery folks arrived at 0920, surveyed the area where they would deliver the refrigerator and then asked if Best Buy had called me to tell me the unit they were delivering was damaged. I had not heard anything but was willing to assess the condition. The unit they brought for me was black when I had ordered the stainless steel version. The damage was significant so I declined the delivery. When I called back to reschedule delivery just now I was told that my unit would be available the first week of February. Really? I canceled the order. If it was in stock when I ordered it, why can't you deliver what was agreed to? Thank you, Best Buy for wasting my time and yours. read more

Terrible customer service. I ordered a $2400 pc for gaming that was overheating and blue screening. Tried their Geek Squad "repair" services. They disregarded my comment about overheating and solved nothing. Couldn't even be bothered to re-apply thermal paste. Then when I go to return it they were very rude to me and acted like it was somehow my fault. I did get a full refund for the pc but had to fight with people over the phone to get a refund on the Geek Squad membership. Best Buy sucks but this experience did give me the push I needed to just build my own pc that runs games at the same level as that defective pc somehow barely managed to do. No overheating and runs like a dream. So thank you Best Buy for being the worst customer experience I ever had cause without it I wouldn't have ever learned how to make computers on my own. read more

She did exactly that (the good part). It was Black Friday, and I had purchased just what I wanted in less than 10 minutes. I will never shop at a best buy again after my experience at Georgetown Best Buy. I ordered a PC online, but the name was different on the order. The "customer service" guy decided that this meant I was trying to steal the item, after I showed him the order email w QR code. I spent 30 min on the phone to get it corrected, walking around the store. When I returned to the desk he was gone and the gal behind the desk told me we were good and to meet at the door. I walked to the door and the guy was back, in my face blocking me from the door and the PC. He again asked me what name was on the order, I explained to him that it was all corrected now, and the other lady checked. He had security block me and looked it up again to verify again. Then without a word of apology he walked away. Finally I got home with the PC and windows refused to activate. They sold me a PC with a bad Windows key. Ridiculous. read more

As a retiree of Sony, I have access to employee pricing which is pretty good. I recently closed on a home on Wolf Ranch and needed 6 TVs installed and decided for convenience to pay a bit more and buy them locally from Best Buy. It was a great move. I bought their Total Tech package which gave free installation on 6 TVs and 3 Soundbars. It extended my warrantees, guaranteed my prices when the TVs went on sale and provided great service. My outside TV and soundbar had a sub-optimal hook-ook and Geek Squad sent a very knowledgeable tech to my home to troubleshoot and resolve my issues. I will continue to buy all of my tech from Best Buy Georgetown. I'm treated like a valued customer by their store team and Geeks and I get top service for my annual membership. read more

We've been thoroughly inconvenienced and left frustrated after 2 failed delivery attempts - BOTH with defective merchandise on a $2,000 range. The first range arrived with an obvious DENT in the side where part of the range couldn't even stay on the range. The second range had mechanical issues with an error code that prevented the range from turning or the interior light from being turned off. Nobody called us and we've been left to project manage this disaster. The best part? We were told today that no restitution/discount was in order. I came at 2PM and left at 5:30. This is disrespectful. Also their geek team and other blue shirts share the same space, nonetheless they don't even acknowledge your existence while waiting for help, they literally did not look at my face and did not provide any support. Some other geek squad guy passed literally on my side, looked at my face and kept moving. I am disgusted. I understand problems happen, but please do not make me come back every 20-45 minutes. All I got at the end of this painful support was a "I'm sorry" at the end (at least that). What can I say? This is such a good store but what really makes it special are the tech people! I had an appointment the other morning, for kind of a ridiculous request(but they humored me) and it took a while (my decision to wait) so I was able to see the techs interact with the customers. From large and harder to small and easier to solve problems these two employees made it smooth sailing for each and every customer. Daniel was my tech and he went above and beyond. I tried to catch the name of his co-worker but my eyes aren't great but they really worked as a team and a shout out has to go to their manager or whoever trained them. Sold us a refrigerator in the store in May, said we would have to wait until July for it to be delivered. We agreed, and purchased, and signed up for their credit card they pushed at cash register. When the day came (7/21) to deliver our refrigerator they said they did not have it, and we would have to wait till September. Meanwhile they are charging us late fees on the credit card with the only purchase being this refrigerator. We just paid it off in mid July. They had nothing to offer us in the store when this happened. No store manager, no one answers phone. Joe Biden's America, no one cares, no merchandise, selling stuff they cannot deliver. Got Tobye to help me - she sold me my computers earlier in the year. Professional, courteous, knowledgeable - these all describe Tobye. Ask for her is you need help with computers. OK started out with giving them five stars, but Best Buy overall is below one star. Order that was promised was not delivered, I keep getting shuffled around from the Philippines to Mexico City.
