When I went into this Best Buy on December 9, 2019 the Best Buy Employees in the Store immediately started following me from the first couple of minutes I was in the Store. Within moments, of me entering the Store that I had just started browsing in, I was was questioned if I needed assistance from a Best Buy Employee. Within response, I notified the Best Buy Employee I did not need his assistance. However; about one minute later another Best Buy Employee questioned me again about needing assistance in the Best Buy Store. Once again, I told the Best Buy Employee I did not need his assistance. After, I observed several Best Buy Employees watching me walk around the Store and constantly speak into their microphones while I walked around the Best Buy Store to shop. In addition; on Black Friday of this year ,2019, I observed the Best Buy Employees in that Store watching me extra closely shop around that Store. Throughout, the time I noticed them watching me extra closely in the store I observed I was one of the few Black-American customers in the Best Buy Store. On the contrary, I did not observe the Best Buy Employees watching the White customers in the Store extra closely, like they were me. Essentially, it appeared to me that the Best Buy Employees in the Store were racially profiling me Under the circumstance; I complained to a Friend on my cell phone in the Store about the Best Buy Employees appearing to target me in the Store I was browsing along. Over, our cell phone conversation in the Best Buy Store I also indicated I thought a much larger on-line retail chain was a better place to purchase items. Later, the Sales Manager, Jess, of the Store, who approached me, informed me a customer in the Best Buy Store had complained about me talking on the cell phone in the Store, that she was shopping with her son. Moreover; she indicated the customer let her know my language on the cell phone was not clean. She also informed me that if she received another complaint from a customer she would order me leave the Store. First of all, I let her know that I did not see a sign in the Store stating that customers could not talk on their cell phones in the Best Buy Stores ,nor did she show me one conveying that; therefore; I had every right to speak on my cell phone in the Store. Second, I let her know I was not cussing on my cell phone in the Best Buy Store. Essentially, there was no reason that I needed to clean up my language ;considering, I had no language to clean up! Third, I indicated to her that no matter how much she did not like me comments on the cell phone I have the freedom of speech to comment on a Business. When taking into ; consideration, my comments were not disrespectful or degrading to people, I had every right to exercise my freedom of speech in this country. Alternatively, she should not have requested me, to talk on my cell phone outside the Best Buy Store, in a Store that does not appear to have a policy that prohibits customers, who are using clean, respectable language like I was, not to talk on their cell phones in a Best Buy Store. Proceeding, my terrible experience in the Best Store, I think the customer service in this Best Buy Store is among the worst in this country, and I will not refer anyone I know to shop at this Best Buy Store!
