This place was not what I was expecting at all. They greeted us when we walked in which was nice but they had a line to be helped if you really did have questions. The store didn't look very inviting. It just looked like the back of a warehouse or something like back room inventory. This would probably be best if shopping for a fridge, washer, dryer, stove/oven, or something like that. To get an idea of price I saw a fridge for about $1200 (open box) vs one I saw at IKEA the same day for $3,400 (brand new). Another price comparison would be an open box PlayStation Portal was $179 vs a brand new one at Walmart was $250. So some prices could be worth it here but I see other reviews stating the difference wasn't even worth the drive there. If I am ever needing an appliance and can't afford brand new I may consider coming here again to compare pricing but otherwise I would likely not return. read more

Horrible service. Don't ever shop here. I don't understand a service model where none of the prices are on the items. You have to wait for someone to come by and help you go one by one per item. And they don't have people who work at the store who want to help anyone. They just stand together chatting. We went today for the first time. We were very confused by the process so we asked Mariana for help. At first she tried to pretend she didn't hear us and then when we asked for help she raised her voice and started shouting that she was helping someone else. There was no one around her at that point. When we asked to speak with one of the managers he said she was one of their best associates. I've been a loyal Best Buy customer for years and have purchased multiple appliances -- refrigerators, stoves, and televisions -- without ever having an issue asking questions or getting help. During my recent visit to purchase a new dishwasher, I was assisted by Adriana, who was absolutely wonderful. She was kind, informative, and very knowledgeable -- a true example of excellent customer service. However, that positive experience changed completely when we went to check out. Adriana brought us to Jeremy to finalize the purchase, and from there, the interaction took an unfortunate turn. When I asked about why I wasn't offered warranty options I was told "You people normally get mad when we offer them." Then when I asked about  delivery charges, I was repeatedly told, "I don't know." When I tried to clarify the difference between the current Best Buy Tech Plan and the extended warranty, I was told, "I don't have to deal with your entitlement," and Jeremy walked away abruptly. Additionally, as I walked into the store I witnessed Jeremy in a very loud argument with an older black woman. Granted I don't know the exact reason for this argument, as a person of color, I can't help but feel these were targeted acts of aggression. It was unprofessional, dismissive, and extremely disappointing -- especially after such a great start with Adriana. I truly value Best Buy and its staff, which is why this experience stood out so sharply in contrast. If you're looking for discount on appliances this should be on your list of options. Some appliances are maybe not what you'd install in your newly remodeled kitchen, but many are acceptable in their as is condition. The mark downs are better in store than the exact same advertised appliance online. Great value IF you find what you want. read more

I ordered a new dishwasher from some other Best Buy store and arranged the delivery to my rental property at Orlando. 2 days before the delivery date, I was notified that a needed accessory (the drain extension kit) is out of stock and won't be delivered in 3 weeks. Ellie helped the alternative sources search for the kit, and saved the whole order for Best Buy, since otherwise I would have cancelled the whole order. She is doing this beyond her core responsibility or personal interest, and resulted in my improved image of Best Buy. This is not your typical Best Buy store. They only have refurbished and open box appliances. If you're in the market for a fridge, washer, dryer, or microwave then there may be a deal there for you. The items were spread across the whole store, no shelves, and looks like a graveyard of open boxed items labeled "tested". I was hoping for a new sound bar surround sound system, GoPro accessories, or perhaps iPhone case. Unfortunately this Best Buy is just a catch all of large open box items...This place may not last long. read more

At this outlet they mostly sell scratch and dent appliances. There were some computers and televisions off to the right and left side but the inventory was minimal when compared to the amount of appliances. The store was staffed with a good amount of employees that are attentive. You will not be overlooked walking into the store. I can't say if the prices are good or not because I'm am out of touch with most of this type of merchandise. The televisions seemed to be priced low but you have to be careful going by price or a name brand. Like other reviewers seem to have echoed, I have gone to other retail avenues for my electronics goods. I frequent online retailers like Amazon for the sheer simplicity of shopping, the lack of intrusive sales people, and heck, let's be honest: no sales tax! That being said, this Best Buy isn't as great as some of the others. In fact, its pretty bad. The sales people are helpful for the most part (if you can find one), especially the nice gentleman from Samsung in the TV department (forgot his name, sorry - I think it was Matt?) However, the detriment to their salesforce (and this experience) was their "Apple expert." (His name might have been Matt, too) I knew more about Apple than he did, although he claimed that he knew significantly more than he let on. In fact, he stressed that he was the "Apple expert" several times during the sales diatribe. He proceeded to show off his Apple "pieces of flair" not unlike that of a TGI Friday's employee circa 1998. What I think was going to be a in and out experience turned out to be a 30 to 45 minutes sales presentation. I knew exactly what I wanted and what I came in for yet he insisted on filling out all of these pictures with "recommendations" that were completely unnecessary, unwarranted, and irrelevant. Every time I said, "No, I don't need that." He said, "Yeah, management makes me...blah blah blah." He blamed that these sales procedures on management, and then proceeded to use the phrase "that's BS" several times during his little. He stated, "I don't like to be an A-hole to my customers," but then proceeded to tack on unnecessary items to my order. (Who needs AntiVirus for an iPad, really??). Not to be outdone, he saw a group of young ladies and commented, (creepily) "that's nice." After 20 agonizing minutes of listening to this guy go on and on about how he knows so much about Apple products and he is the shining example of their sales team: I got my merchandise. As he went to ring me up, I asked him if I could apply a reward certificate to my purchase. He said "no problem." Apparently, there was a problem because it required a team of physicists, six trained monkeys, a marching band, Stephen Hawking's notes on the black holes, five calculators, and the sales manager. And to top off my visit (I am a glutton for punishment), I stopped at the Geek Squad counter to have them install something for me. I was in the line and walked by several times over the course of five minutes not so much as a "We'll be right with you." I decided I would do it on my own at home and I left. The Monday before Thanksgiving I drove over an hour to purchase a refrigerator and oven to replace broken appliances. I scheduled a delivery and install for a few days later, assuming I would have my new appliances for the holiday weekend. The oven showed up but the delivery drivers had no information on the refrigerator. I spent the next month (mostly on hold) with Best Buy Global employees, who had no idea what was going on so they just offered to reschedule. After 5 canceled appointments (some canceled hours before delivery) I drove back to the store. The employee who helped me could not find the refrigerator I had paid for and offered to cancel the original order and find another one to purchase. Management suggested I use an independent delivery service to guarantee delivery that day but it would cost extra. At 10 pm that night I received my refrigerator, 5 weeks after I purchased it. Best Buy even had the gall to deduct the promotional gift card offered during the original purchase. I have never experienced this level of customer service so here I am leaving my first review. Super easy to get in and out of, I am able to get my online order in a matter of minutes. Anywhere else, I would be waiting my turn in the line of traffic to turn into the store parking lot. You know, you drop $700 on a Samaung S7 Edge cell phone, you expect a little more. For instance, it would be great if the sealed battery compartment did warp and the phone didn't heat up like it was going to explode two months after the warranty expired. Like I said, the little things. It would be nice if when you returned it to Verizon where you purchased the phone, or Best Buy which houses a Samsung representative, you didn't get into this game of pass the buck. Verizon sends you to Samsung (hey, that's obviously product defect, he said) and Samsung sends you to a third party repair contractor UBreak IFix which reports the entire Samsung Corp refuses to call them back to authorize covered repairs. Samsung Corp customer says send us the phone to evaluate, maybe Verizon will front you a loaner. The Samsung rep back at Best Buy reports, "I wouldn't carry that phone. It's a fire hazard." This was an awesome experience. Purchased an Elite Rewards membership when I replaced my desk top computer a month ago. This +- $100 purchase just saved me $314.97 in automotive installation and product. Installing a new advanced video stereo with GPS, back up camera, speakers, steering wheel controls. Plus all the adapters, harnesses and ect. required. This membership gets you FREE installs and 1.5% off all products. This includes the speakers that were already on sale, so none of that restriction BS of doubling up on discounts. To top all that off, I had $20 in reward bucks from the previous Mac purchase also applied to this transaction. Jeff who will be doing the install in a week or so is also awesome. Today is January 3rd and they don't want to proceed the exchange saying it was a wrong info provided and I had only 15dats from purchase and they can't exchange a defected dryer any longer. NO! We bought a washer and dryer on April 10th, when they were to be delivered on April 15th, on that day we got a call from delivery company stating that Best Buy sold us a bad washer and they were taking it back to the store. Called the store, store said no delivery company broke the washer. Either way we drove 50 miles back to store to get refund on washer and buy a new one. Once we got there they worked it out where they'd have both the new washer and dryer delivered same day. Both arrived later that day. Did ONE load of wash and the washer STOPPED working. Store told us to call LG. LG sent out someone three days later and the pump had gone bad. So we waited another 3 days for the new part and repair. Finally end of April we were able to use new washer. June 9th the washer died again and would not drain! Called LG out again and they said they were going to charge us for the repair because there was a gap in the wash tub. Originally LG never told us that the first time nor did Best Buy. So LG told us to call best buy and have them exchange it. We called best buy and they told us to call LG and have them do it. No one is taking responsibility for this BRAND NEW washer that we paid 520.00 for and we have no washer now. All we wanted was a replacement that WORKED and was comparable to the one we paid for. I would stay away from this store or LG for anything. I will NOT stop until I have this rectified or my money back! It's going all the way to the president of Best Buy and LG! read more

That being said, as far as Best Buys go, this one was pretty damn good. I went here around 1pm on a Wednesday and this was the least crowded, quietest best buy I have ever been in. I was there to buy a couple of LED TVs and was in and out rather quickly. I got a close parking spot and had no line when I checked out. The TVs were in boxes that were in good shape. Best Buy is the place to go when you want something RIGHT NOW. Apply for credit and load up their app on your smart phone. This corporation does reward repeat business and its quite easy to earn rewards. I shop here often and the $5 - $10 here and there adds up! I usually go to stores on a mission. But the few times I have gone about browsing I find their employees are quick to offer you a hand. This has occasioned me buying more than I intended too on several occasions. Of you are a Google fan, the new Samsung display here is incredible. Phones, pads, and the new laptop with Google OS (no it doesn't support Word). They aren't as big as other locations, but they have a respectable inventory. I have always had pleasant experiences here despite other folks telling me the company is basically the "belly of the beast". Bought large floor standing speakers by Energy in May of 15... These speakers are used for left and right in my home theater which gets used mostly for gaming and movies, I do not use these speakers for music. I had company over for a gathering and used my living room to play music. When I played music through the speakers I heard crackling sound. One of the speaker's woofers appears to have been manufactured wrong. I brought these speakers back in March 16 to get 0% help from Best Buy. 10 months later I was told to hit the road packing and that I would have to deal with the manufacturer??? Being a business owner(not that this should matter) if I were to tell a client to hit the road packing after buying something 10 months ago I'd be out of business!! Seeing how my company is 5 stars on Yelp and Best Buy is 3 soon to be 1 they should listen to their clients!! Guess what I'm gonna do? Very poor customer service. I had an audio install scheduled for my Jeep. I made the apt 3 weeks out so I could take off for work. I get a call 2 days before my apt and they have to reschedule. I show up on the rescheduled date and there is no one to do my install. The manager apologizes and says he is going to comp my install. However, they are 3 weeks out, so he scheduled the install with the Kissimmee store. I get to the Kissimmee store and they tell me they need to be paid for the install. The Kissimmee store manager tells me that the other store manager would never do that. I said please give him a call. He comes back and tells me the other manager never said that. In addition , they had credited me $200 towards the install. So I'm upset at this point and I decide to just get it installed. Out of pocket cost over $700 for an "8 hour install". It took well over 12 hours and I missed a very important apt. Well I get home and the installer who was rushed really did not complete tie install. So I had to go back 5 hrs later I guess the install is complete. No. They messed up my wires installed the wrong module and I have wires falling down and auto errors going off in my Jeep. I took a chance and had a car audio system installed at this location. The installer was nice enough. Unfortunately he did not do a good job though. It has only been a week and wires have come loose causing power to my speakers to cut in and out when I hit bumps in the road . It was so bad that it was funny at first but now it's just a problem I have to deal with. Their customer service line is as bad as you can imagine even by today's rock bottom standards in society... If you are thinking about letting this place install your system.. DO NOT.... You will be sorry... Consider yourself warned if you go there anyway because it's cheap... Go somewhere else.... Just to give you an idea of what you are about to get yourself into if you buy a sound system here... I am now on my third appointment trying to get my sound system to work right. If you can take the product yourself and do your own install then go for it. However don't pay for them to install or deliver as the service they use is TERRIBLE!!! We bought a dryer that had a small dent on the side and paid for delivery and install since it's a larger unit and our laundry room is upstairs. We told them this at the time of purchase. Well when the dryer showed up the delivery guy said it's in such bad shape I don't think it will work. The dents are so bad I doubt the dryer tumbler can actually turn. Again we bought it with one small dent. But it was delivered all banged up! Multiple dents, the front was all scratched up including the glass window. It WD like it had been dropped more than once. He said o can't help you if I deliver it but you can refuse delivery. So we did. Then to make a long story short they said they could send another one in better condition so we said ok. Well this time it showed up on great shape but the deliver guy was alone so he said he couldn't take it upstairs and do the install we paid for! He also didn't have the power cord or vent kit that we also paid extra for!!! Just dropped it in our garage and left. I have a bad back and we don't own a dolly to get it upstairs which is the whole reason we paid for this service. Unbelievable the amount of headache and time we've lost on this deal. I didn't explain all the hassle with the refund and second purchase. Just trust me when I say the savings are not worth the headaches. If you need it delivered go somewhere else! read more

I walk in best buy 1 day after Hurricane Matthew, notice the whole store has been Flooded, water puddles still in the store around 3pm. The Stink hit you before you enter. I bought a compact refrigerator from the Ocoee outlet store. The sales guy seemed to have forgotten to tell me that the frige was 11 yrs old. I called Frigidaire for a manual and this frige wasn't even listed anymore. When I was told it had a freezer I like a dumb person bought it. Now I'm going to see if they will take it back. If you want to wait 10 minutes for an employee to "look up" how they can help you with an exchange, then to find them just chatting with another employee and on their phone come here. When I asked if they were looking up the product information they told me "no, i was helping other customers".... I understand if the employee was actually looking up the product information there may be a wait, but why offer to help when you're not really going to. this is my go to store when i want to buy something in town. millennia mall is much closer to me but i got tired of the pushy tourists could care less who was there before they even entered the door. the best part of this store is that the patrons are locals looking for electronics. better yet, some items on amazon are the same price or cheaper at best buy (even before factoring in the "free shipping" from amazon). ive never had a problem with item pickup at this best buy, compared to the 20-30 minutes ive waited before for site-to-store pickup at walmart. associates are knowledgeable, aren't pushy and will acknowledge (speak to)you at this store, even if you don't speak portuguese (unlike best buy store at millennia, where you get faster service if you start screaming in portuguese). the only downside is that their selection is not as large as walmart/amazon but it seems like they are changing to adapt to the market demands. read more
