Just purchased a 100 " Hisense U70N TV. I wanted to have a 100" inch TV in our theater to replace the 80" TV. I checked Amazon and Best Buy for TV's, prices and delivery. I settled on the Hisense U70N because it seemed like the best balance of the latest tech and price. Best Buy had the best price in included delivery and installation. This deal seemed too good to be true and I was a bit skeptical. I am so satisfied with the the Geek Squad delivery and installation. The lead installation tech was very knowledgeable and experienced and you could tell. His assistant was very new and that was also very apparent. Overall, the experience was excellent. The service was fantastic and the price cannot be beat. I feel as if I got a steal. read more

Horrible. I spend 2500 on an oven and they delayed the delivery order 3 times. After the last dela, they sent a message saying id have to reschedule yet again-and I'd have to either get the app or call them to do so. I'm not getting the app. I already bought the oven. So I called. As I write this review, I'm on hold and have been for 15 minutes, waiting for a himan. I tried talked to their AI assistant, but it didn't seem to know the word "oven" and kept insisting it didn't understand. So now I'm enduring tactic 2 to get me to hang up. Unendurable wait time. Purchased a laptop that was in "demo user" setting. Supervisor and staff are difficult, have poor customer service skills, and not helpful at all. No one seemed to have any clue about the administration user name and password to complete a factory reset. Hoping another store or another department can better assist. The issue with this Best Buy isn't with pricing or value. I can usually count on getting a good or fair deal. However, their delivery folks are careless and outright reckless. Unless you can haul the item yourself, you will undoubtedly regret paying them for delivery/removal service. I purchased a stackable washer & dryer set from them recently. Paid for the delivery/removal/installation option. They no show/no called the first attempt at delivery. Half day of pay gone. They no show/no called the second time. Another half day of pay gone. I found out then that it was because they badly damaged the units in transit. So they subbed in different units for my inconvenience. They actually showed up for delivery attempt number 3. However, this new pair of appliances were damaged even worse than last time. Someone had obviously plowed into the side of the washer with small pallet jack or lift... possibly thinking it was on a pallet. And the dryer had a 6 inch round hole in the back. I sent it back and decided it was time to move on. ANOTHER HALF DAY OF PAY GONE TOO! No one was genuinely helpful, as I had to advocate for myself along the way with Geek Squad reps, store reps, and managers to be made whole. It was frustrating to have to re-explain myself over and over between the 7 or 8 different parties that were involved in the many phases of this fiasco. I also canceled another pending washer dryer order for a different office that was set to occur on 11/21. I'd rather do business elsewhere and not have my time wasted because their local delivery teams are unprofessional and reckless. If you enjoy having your time wasted and your appliances damaged on the way, then Best Buy is your ticket. You may get a deal, but you'll lose your mind trying to make yourself whole after their delivery people damage the item(s). Home Depot is actually quite competitive and on par with Best Buy. Lowes is too. Do business ANYWHERE else but at Best Buy in the Baltimore area. read more

I am disappointed with Best Buy's return policy. I was never been warned about their 15-day return policy or about their limited until Jan 14th for holiday purchases. Please be aware of their 15-day return policy. I went in to return incompatible Apple CarPlay for my son's car. I am not of a fan of this very short return policy. Life gets busy and cannot always return items that quickly. And they do not give much good customer service to customers. I believe that you should give very good customer service to your customers, or they won't come back. I am not going back! read more

Incredibly disorganized location with lots of staff yet none of them are attending to customers- and not receptive customer service. Placed an order online and expected to go to the pickup station. After not being waited on and seeing no employees at the pickup center, I ended up having to wait in the regular checkout line. Made an appointment to have a battery replaced in a phone. Went back later to pick it up only to find out that the person who does that service wasn't in that day but if I brought it back the next day and dropped it off they could service it which is what I did. Came back at 4pm and was told that that person had been sent to another store. Neither day did they think to contact me and let me know what was going on. Wow! Feeling totally stung by a visit to Best Buy! My husband and I went to the Lutherville Best Buy to return a Go Pro camera he got me for Christmas. We've only used it a couple of times since the present was opened, and the last time we did, it shut down due to overheating after about 20 minutes of use. The young lady at the Customer Service desk was so unpleasant that I plan to stop supporting this business. I'm sad to have to write this because I have had very helpful and professional interactions with the floor staff in the past, and this business was in my list of businesses to support. However, given that electronics occasionally need to be returned, I'd take pains to avoid interacting with the staff at this Customer Service desk ever again. So, buy your computer gear at the MicroCenter in Parkville, your appliances at Lowe's and your big screens somewhere else. read more

I was looking for 2 devices and saw that this Best Buy location had them available same day! Mind you it was a little after 8pm when I submitted the order online and they close at 9 so I was skeptical it would be same day but figure early the next morning was still faster then prime so I'd be winning either way. Well I got a message at less than 15 minutes later that the order was ready for pickup. So I dashed out the door hoping to make it before they closed. I pulled up with a few minutes to spare and being lazy and half in pj's (don't judge me!) I hit the button for curbside. It quoted me 4 minutes wait and in maybe two a smiling cheerful gentleman was at my passenger window (as requested) with my items. Now if that's not great service I don't know what is!! I promised my son that I would get him a new iPhone for his birthday. I called the Towson location, and was told that they had 3 of them in stock. I asked if they wouldn't mind holding one for me because I was going to be there in less than a half hour. When I got to the store, I was told that all three had just been sold! The clerk had assured me that one would be held for me since I was already on my way to the store. Needless to say, my son and I were both disappointed because the other locations in our area were sold out also. Went to replace a tv. I wanted something nice.... Not too big... and not too expensive. Slightly overwhelmed by the large inventory I looked around for a salesperson but didn't see one. I finally found an employee who offered to call someone to help me. A guy comes out and basically gives me a blank look with no real offer of help. I explained what I wanted and he just kinda mumbled. He wasn't any help at all. Then he wandered off. Another guy appeared and he was definitely more helpful that the first. Idk. I assumed they got some sort of commission but perhaps I'm wrong. A commission based employee wants to sell and upgrade the sale. I had to run out to the Best Buy to pick up a printer cable and some paper. I ordered online and it was ready almost immediately. Currently, Best Buy is only open for order pickups and their order of operations is superb. They have a checkpoint at the entrance that points you in the right direction-- second right and a loop into a car line at the curb in front of the store. I texted my car description and someone came out with my order. They verified my identity by looking at my driver's license and put my order in the backseat. I ordered a fridge that was delivered today. They got the fridge in my kitchen but the water doesn't work in the fridge. It works to the fridge but not in the fridge. I waited in hold for 35 minutes for the person to tell me that I had to call back tomorrow. The initial person said they would have to send a repair person out the other one said they would have to replace it. Very inconsistent and terrible that I have to wait to figure out what Best Buy is going to do with the fridge that they delivered which was defective upon arrival. read more

This is the location I usually head to because it never seems to be TOO busy, which makes it easier to get assistance when you seek it or handle any customer service-related issues. The store is set up pretty open and signage and whatnot is pretty clear, of all the Best Buy's I've been to this is one of the easier ones to navigate. It also seems a like everything is spread out pretty even and the different sections don't swallow you up like at some other BBs. So far I haven't had any major issues but I would say they need to work on how fast people get assistance. I usually know where I'm going or how to find someone but you usually see people who look completely stumped and are not sure where to start. read more

I purchased a video vlogging kit and it was missing a part. The manager refused to give me a refund because it was just past the 14 day return policy. He said he would give me store credit as a favor which I told him I didn't want because this is twice now I've purchased stuff that didn't work from Best Buy. He insisted that I take another kit. I made him open it in front of me and it too was missing the same part. He did not apologize but did finally give me my money back. Purchased a hot spot in the store, was told I could activate it when I got home. Upon returning home, there was an activation lock on the device. I went back to the store and they told me the first employee did something wrong upon checkout, so they exchanged it for a different one. I was told I had to purchase a prepaid data card in the store and he loaded the funds onto the device. Upon returning home, this one didn't work either. I returned to the store for a 3rd time and they said they were just faulty devices. I was able to return the device but not the data they themselves loaded onto the non working device. After being talked down to and made to feel as if I was a complete moron last year for not knowing the difference in the plethora of operation systems offered on the hundreds of laptops Best Buy sells (I mean, how dare I go to the store where it is THIER job to know and educate the consumer, obviously I was in the wrong... how absurd right!). I shopped online this one last time, for 2 televisions to replace the very outdated ones I currently have. I requested curbside pickup and didn't notice until I got home that I was given an "Open Box" product when I have wanted and paid for NEW! I called for a manager that same Sunday at 1:30pm to be told there wasn't one on duty (also ridiculous considering it's the height of the holiday season and weekends are vital times to have an MOD). Nevertheless, I called back today to be told I would be transferred and that I may wait a long time for someone to pick up and possibly disconnected all together... whose customer service line says that?! I took to the online chat feature and was told I had to bring the TV back instead of just being able to supply the documentation for the "open box" product and supplied a refund of the difference. I went to return it to be swapped for a new one that wasn't broken, and they tried to charge me an extra $75 for the swap. For the SAME exact model fitbit that I originally bought. After lots of arguing, I asked to speak to the manager which gave me the same response. Why would I need to pay $75 to get the same exact watch? absolutely ridiculous. Becareful on returns to this location. They will not honor sales prices of items sent to your home that was damaged by UPS. ERICA tried to argue with is about what we paid on sale price vs. retail price causing us more money out of pocket. No! That is not our fault the item was badly damaged.
