Worst Clips: worst attitude. I made a same day appt for just a style. Tiffany arrived late. And starts the dissatisfaction saga. She told me my haircut looks good, and asked if she did it last time. I replied, i have never been here before. She asked me what do i want, i said round brush curls or waves. She said she doesnt know how to do it, but she knows what I want. So she started working on my hair how she wanted, regardless of what i wanted. Inspite of letting her know that i wasnt happy with shes doing, she kept on telling me she knows what I wanted. And kept telling me my hair was fuzzy and dry. Never has someone told me my hair was like that. Everyone likes my hair and my hair is pretty. (I didnt feel bad at all that she said that!) She kept on accusing me repeatedly of using oil after hair wash. And kept on repeating that my hair is dry and fuzzy. So after she was half way done, she asked me to show a picture of what I wanted. I told her, why care for the picture when youre doing what you want to do. Anyway, i have had my hair blown out hundred times, and i know what to expect and how my hair can be styled. She didnt even section my hair appropriately, and curled it with a straightener inspite of me telling her that I didnt wanted to use any straightner or curling tong. Even though I told her like five times that I do not want anything other than round brush, she just kept going on with what she wanted to do. I gave up and i didnt have guts to get up and leave. So i paid $25 for a style that I didnt wanted and i didbt like. She was very chatty, and stubborn. Besides these, she asked me if I have lived long time in Plano, I said 7 years. She replied 7 years is not a long time, she has been in Plano for 27 years. Okay, good for you who cares. Oh, let me not forget to mention she repeatedly declared over and over that she has been doing hair for 27 f**** years and she knows what I want. Well lady, I dont care if you have been doing hair for how long, but if your attitide sucks, you wont be getting business from people like me. Apparently, you lost lot of referrals at the same time. And she asked if I wanted her business card, I said NO on her face and left. TIFFANY, keep your 27 years exoerience with yourself, put in your pocket. Show it to your faithful clients, put it in the display box, do whatever. EVERY CUSTOMER IS A POTENTIAL BUSINESS. Id have referred lot of my friends, but you lack ATTITUDE. I came to Best Clips for a trim. I rarely have time to do things for myself like get my hair cut, so my hair was pretty damaged and had a great deal of spilt ends. Our family just recently moved here, so Best Clips is the first hair salon I have been to. I was VERY impressed! In the past, it has been quite difficult to find someone that cuts my hair to my specifications. Tiffany trimmed my hair exactly as I requested, and even angled the front(which was in serious need of a trim as well, but I would have been afraid to ask because every other time I have asked for this it has been done horribly)! It was like she read my mind! I am so pleased! She trimmed everything that was damaged without making it shorter than I asked, and even styled my hair afterwards so I could surprise my husband! After today, I will exclusively visit this salon for my needs in the future! read more

I've been getting my hair cut and highlighted at Best Clips for many years. Tiffany always does a great job with my razer cut but I've also had great results from the other stylists when she is very busy. I would never go to anybody else to get my hair highlighted. Tiffany always makes it look so natural and I regularly get compliments on my cut and color when I'm out in public. read more

This place is truly a waste of time and money. The area was unsanitary and disgusting. It looked like it hadn't been cleaned in days. I walked in for a scheduled appointment and was left sitting in the waiting area for well over an hour with only one other customer. Furthermore, I said trim, no more than half an inch, she cut off almost two inches of my hair. The hair cut was uneven and I had to get it fixed somewhere else. Overall it was a terrible experience and I regret coming here. The overall score of this place is a complete lie. This place wasn't sanitary and the overall blatant lack of skill in stylists is obvious. This is an update: I'm sitting in the waiting room while my mother gets her hair cut. My mother tells the woman I normally cut her hair because I do. The woman decided to lecture me on how I cut my mothers hair for over ten minutes. I know how to cut hair and the only reason we were here was because we had a special event coming up so we were getting style as well. This woman is rude and opinionated and won't listen to the customers ever. If you want to risk getting your head shaved when you ask for a few inches this is the place for you! I went to Tiffany to fix a terrible haircut. Very nice, knows how to work the room, and is big on getting referrals. She did a great job on my hair, quick, but paid attention. The only negative thing I have to say is she missed some hairs on my left side. They ended up being about an inch longer than the rest. Easy fix, I just snipped them when I got home. For the value, though, you really can't fault her for that. Starts at $14 for a haircut. Great price! I don't mind giving her my money because she's a hard worker (works from 9AM-7PM) 6 days a week pretty much to support her kid through med school. Kudos to you! read more

This staff is one of the sweetest staff I've ever met! Tiffany does an amazing job with haircuts ! When I walked in my hair was very dull and damaged. When I walked out, it is thick and pretty much healthy again. I also got a color fix here and I love that as well! It's a pretty chocolate reddish brown. My 12 year old girl, believe it or not, is very picky on who does her hair. In fact we would drive to Houston just to get it done. Well now we stay here since we found this place. Always hesitant about new hair saloons. Just move to the area, read the reviews about Tiffany and thought I would try her. Brought my picture in, she made a couple of suggestions, then started. Love my cut, the way I was treated. Reasonable price. Like her so much, my Husband even had his haircut and beard trimmed by Brian. All done for less then $50. read more

Her prices never go up and her prices are very reasonable. Yewb is a superb stylist. If you show her a photo or suggest how you would like your hair cut, she never gets offended. A photo is a very good idea because she can duplicate the cut to look exactly like the photo. Yewb is also very good at highlights. She is very patient with you if you are not sure what you want, color or highlights. She will explain the difference in the two processes and will be honest with you about the possible outcome. First of all, the prices are unbeatable, but then to have a better experience here then I have had at a salon with a price tag of more than triple, why would I go anywhere else? I have been searching for a good hairdresser for a long time since my regular hairdresser left. I've tried from a $45 haircut to the economical one, $12 and none really impresses me. Well, my search ends here. Tiffany is very friendly and knowledgeable. I wasn't expecting much at the beginning since I've been disappointed so many times and I thought this cut was going to be so so. Boy, I was surprised when I saw the result. I showed Tiffany the style that I wanted from a magazine and she was able to tell me that this part of my hair needed to grow first and that my hair now was layered and cut too much on the back and sides and so forth and what she said made sense. Decided to give it a try after reading all these good reviews. Big mistake! If you consider yourself young and fashion forward, this is not a place for you. Mostly aged women and middle aged men came here during the 3 hours I was in the store. I show Tiffany pictures that I like and told her I wanted a long bob cut, she gave me a complete different look, very boring old office lady look. She recut my hair when I was very unhappy with the new look, even worse. Long story short, I went to another salon a couple days later. I'm a guy and I don't like to spend a bunch of money on a hair cut, but I've also got curly hair and most people don't know how to cut it. I decided to try this salon because my wife found a coupon in the local paper. I've now had the owner, Tiffany, cut my hair about five times and they are the best hair cuts I've ever had. The hair cut for me was $14 and worth twice that. I encourage you to ask for Tiffany, even if she is with another customer.
