Every year I come from Indiana to Plano to spend Christmas and New Year's at with my daughter and her family. Between Christmas and New Years it always seems I need a haircut. Five years ago I went to Noky for a haircut because she was close. It was one of the best haircuts I had ever had. The next year I tried to go again and found that she had moved. I had my first haircut with Noky today and it was awesome! I saw so many great reviews for her but was a little skeptical because of the low price and the fact that I wasn't seeing many reviews from people my age (I'm in college at time of this review). I am so happy with the result! I have long hair and I asked for a trim and she cut off only what was necessary, and then I showed her some pictures for layers and she explained how it may be different from the picture on my hair and what she would do to my hair specifically. She made sure we were on the same page every step of the way. She is great at small talk and I felt comfortable the whole time. After she finished, she made sure I was totally happy with it before I left. I am very impressed, my pockets are happy ($13 for a women's haircut can't be beat) and my hair is healthy! In terms of Covid-19 stuff, she and I were the only people in the place and we both wore masks. Felt about as safe as it gets. Some other quirky things-- she only takes cash or Zelle, and she asked that I wash my hair before I come instead of having it washed there. Not sure if this is a covid thing or an all the time thing, but either way, fine by me. Definitely visit Noky, and after, go get a snowcone at Sugar Mountain in the same shopping center! read more

If you want someone who actually knows what they are doing, she is a must try. Very punctual, friendly and efficient. Noky is the fade master. I had gone to another barber for decades when a friend encouraged me to try Noky's haircuts. I was hesitant, but the price of the haircut was too good to not try. I went with low expectations. After the first haircut, I was sold. Noky was able to get my haircut just the way I had wanted.
