I have no idea why there are so many 5 star reviews for this place. They must be giving discounts or something. We got 2 pizzas and they both tasted like old, stale pizza. At best they were made early in the day and had been sitting around, at worst they were reheated from prior days. We didn't get sick or anything, but it was a huge waste of money because we through the rest of it out. We typically order a large or the XL and upon todays XL order we were disappointed to see that they gave us a L instead. After further investigation it looks like they've added a new size 3XL which I assume is now what used to be the XL. A bit disappointing since they've changed the sizing. Despite a rather on-the-nose name, this place has some pretty great Indian-style pizza at an affordable price. They also do more traditional pizzas that I have yet to try, but the Indian-style stuff is well spiced and wonderful on the texture front. The shop is take-out oriented, so don't expect too much for dining in (though that may be due to COVID), but the owner (?) was quite welcoming and hospitable regardless. There's a sizable lot for the mini-strip that Best Desi Pizza is located on, so parking is a breeze. Interior seating only, but the take-out focus is notable as there aren't really any printed menus (everything they have is online though). The fellow whom I presume was the owner was quite welcoming and gave us some suggestions for our pizza selection. Crust options are regular, thin, and cauliflower, and sizes ranged from 10" smalls to their largest 20" Giant. The 14" Large was recommended for two guys (this ended up being just right). It wasn't listed online, but they generously were willing to do half and half for us. We settled on a half-and-half large thin-crust pizza with Tandoori Chicken and Shahi Paneer at medium spiciness. My brother got a mango lassi in anticipation of the burn. ==Mango Lassi [4/5]== Very light on the added sugar, but still a fresh mango flavor that is mostly dominated by the yogurt. Great for folks that are more fans of a fresh creamy sourness, but might not be so favorable for those looking for more of a sweet fix. Personally could have used more mango, but tasty nonetheless. ==Tandoori Chicken [5/5]== These chicken bits were quite juicy. True to their tandoori origin, seasoned quite well and contrasted very nicely with some fresher bites of veggies (notably green onion). Thin crust was definitely the way to go. The shop has quite a nice crispiness on the bottom (at least for a fresh pie) that extended across the entire slice, so quite well done on the temp control. Medium spiciness was definitely catered for a less spicy tolerant crowd as my brother was easily able to handle the food. The curry sauce was pleasantly spiced, but nothing too overwhelming and complemented the chicken quite well. ==Shahi Paneer [5/5]== The paneer bits on this one had a lovely crisp exterior and a softer slightly melty interior (which makes think they must be using a mixture of cheeses). Somewhat more spicy than the tandoori chicken and thoroughly well seasoned. This one was also topped with plenty of fresh veggies to add a fresh contrast to the crispy/soft paneer. read more
