Decided to come here due to the cheese bowl noodles. Well we went with something else and I should have stuck to my first instinct. I order the special thinking it was mussel and white sauce fettuccine but instead it was clams when I specifically asked if it was mussel and served said yes. When the dish came out I saw it was clams and I asked server to test him if he knew what the shell fish was and he didn't know. It was clams. And the sauce was off and salty. Calamari was good so that made up for my bad dish. Good thing we order calamari otherwise I would have had nothing for lunch. Another thing was they weee not busy and it took forever to get our food. Anyways he ask if I wanted anything else and by that time it was too late. They just didn't charge us for my dish.

Last year I spent 3 months in Italy that changed my view of Italian food forever. This is the best Italian restaurant I have found since I've been back. OF COURSE they make everything from scratch and import a number of ingredients from Italy. Hands down the best tiramisu outside of Italy, FABULOUS service from Juliana, and we were also entertained by another server who sang. Come here for date night, for a company dinner, to celebrate your birthday, you will not be disappointed! It was very warm on the day that we went and I wish that we had sat inside. They are at the first restaurant at the west end of Campbell Avenue leading into the downtown strip. This means lots of street parking and options to exit the area without having to drive down Campbell Ave.

We came here to celebrate my parents' birthday, and it was an absolute hit! The food was amazing from start to finish, but the hospitality was even better. Our server, Juan D, truly went above and beyond to make the evening special. He was attentive, warm, and made sure everything was absolutely perfect for the celebration. We had a fantastic time and will definitely be back. Thank you, Juan, and the whole team for a memorable night!

Mother's Day dinner at Italian restaurant @ Campbell . It is home cooked meals in an upscale environment. I love the lobster Ravioli ( filled with Maine lobster and asparagus) top with Tiger prawn in homemade orange sauce . Fresh Mediterranean Sea bass filet & capers in a lemon butter sauce , served with fresh garden vegetables. Appetizers: Fritto Misto is deep fried Monterey calamari, tiger prawn , artichoke , zucchini & chef 's capri sauce . So so delicious We have also ordered the Trofie Al Pesto V ( homemade twisted shirt pasta , basil & pine nuts pesto ,pistachios, tomato confit , & parmigiana - Reggiano chips . That was my least favorite. All the pasta dishes are homemade by the Naples - born chef and restaurateur Enzo Rosano . Along with his brothers , this is the newest of the seven " Locanda"restaurants located throughout the Bay Area. The interior design is very elegant with a painted ceiling . If it is your birthday, the waiter would come to your table and sing with his opera voice ! Excellent service . Our waiter Ernesto P checked on us often and brought us drinks and food in a short time . He was very very helpful. They have a small parking lot with 2 handicap parking . Lots of parking on the street too . But you should allow yourself 15 minutes early for parking . They always have a line and the table will be given to the next cutoff you are late .

Always a Campbell favorite! We came here for mothers and had a wonderful dinner. We arrived with no reservation but before the dinner we rush. We were seated right away. I always love the bright decorations and costal vibes. They had some extra flowers around for the holiday. All of our food was amazing. My person favorite was the coppa di Sorrento. It's the perfect leon dessert

Enjoyed a great dinner date with my husband here about a week ago. We were in the area and we were fans of their willow glen location so we decided to stop by for dinner. Loved the fritto misto, lasagna and the trofie al pesto. Everything was so so so delicious. Definitely will be back when in Campbell again.

Here is my PSA. Come here for the gnocchi. Even fact, order two of them. You'll thank me later. Oh, the service, vibe, and overall dining experience was wonderful too.

overall the food is great, ambience is good, and they have someone take photos ($22 per photo and frame). we happened to come during lots of birthday celebrations so it was pretty loud and hard to hear others talk got the: - fritto misto - pretty crispy, a large assortment of calamari, shrimp, zucchini, and anchovy, dipping sauce is an olive sauce, which I thought was more unique, but would've preferred tartar or something like that - cacio e pepe - they mix the noodles in a Parmesan wheel in front of you and serve it on a plate, it was good, the noodles had very intense Parmesan flavor and were salted well. Portions are a bit small, and I was a bit worried about the sanitariness since the wheel is reused and uncovered at times but maybe this is normal and I'm unaware of it - pollo parmigiana - chicken was breaded well and crispy, flavored with marinara sauce, a healthy choice with vegetables overall we left satisfied with the food, though you are probably paying slightly more for the ambience and cheese wheel presentation

Lobster ravioli was delicious, we had a party of a 8 for a birthday dinner and everyone sampled each others plates. Great experience overall.

Mangia bene! That's Italian for "eat well" and that's exactly what you'll do when you come here. This simple, little restaurant is actually rich & bold in authentic Italian flavors, and big in terms of heart & spirit. And although it looks adorably tiny from the outside, it's actually quite spacious inside with 2 different dining rooms and a full bar (plus outside tables too). Our server Ernesto was fantastic! Our table of 6 (including my Italian in-laws) appreciated his excellent customer service and kindness. He went above & beyond, and we all got to practice our Italian as well since he himself is from Napoli (Naples). Grazie mille Ernesto! Also, the man can SING! We heard him sing Happy Birthday to a couple of other tables when we were there, and then he serenaded our table with a beautiful rendition of 'O Sole Mio. My Spaghetti al Pomodoro was perfection, my husband's Trofie al Pesto was to die for, father-in-law loved his Lobster Ravioli, and there were 3 orders of their Cacio e Pepe for the rest of the table. Throw in the Brussels Sprouts and Bruschetta for apps, and Tiramisu and Cannoli for dessert shared around the table. Everything was absolutely delicious, and authentic. I must mention that the cocktails were also flowing at our table (Negronis anyone?), so...yeah, bring your appetite and be transported to Italy from little Downtown Campbell!

The lasagna and Amalfi pasta were good! The piña colada with strawberry puree ( mocktail) was 1000/10. The servers were friendly. The location was nice and comfy.

Here's the review: --- (3/5) Locanda Sorrento is adorable -- the Santorini-themed interior is really cute and the service was lovely. Came specifically for the parmesan wheel pasta experience and it delivered on the spectacle watching them toss the Cacio e Pepe inside a giant wheel of parmesan is genuinely fun to see. Taste-wise though, both the Cacio e Pepe and the pizza skewed a little too salty and cheesy for my liking. The silver lining -- portion sizes are huge, so it's great for sharing and you'll definitely leave full. Worth a visit for the vibe and the experience!

Within easy walking distance of plenty of parking and a parking garage if you don't find anything on the street nearby . Reservations were easy to make and they had a cute light up Happy Birthday sign waiting on the table! The ambiance was dark but had great ambient lighting . I loved the green velvet booths and decor , which evoked old Hollywood glamour ! Tables were set up in way that you didn't have to maneuver around them to get to the bathroom which was roomy and clean! There was a bat and lounge area to one side and seated dining on the other , Our server Camille was amazing ! So attentive and her timing got delivering each Sri name course was on point . Birthday girl asked for suggestions a fruity house cocktail. Instead of just rattling off the fruity drinks, she asked questions to personalize a suggestion and described each drink! The food was fresh and presented nicely. One of my friends and I decided to each order the poke tacos . I loved them! Even though it was probably an appetizer is the right amount for a light meal. My friends ordered the Korean spice chicken and pan seared salmon and they both complimented their meal. I can't remember the all the names-of the drinks except for the Miami Vice the birthday girl ordered . We also got her one that was served lit on fire ! I w myself was happy that they served Ballast Point Sculpin on draft! The lava cake was served with strawberries and delicious! The birthday girl even got a bowl of ice cream, a candle and huge sparkler to hold while we sang happy birthday . I debated rating on my 4 stars for the noise level , but honestly , I can't fault the restaurant for parties having fun . It's a testament to venue excellence! One table though seamed to communicate in hysterical screams every time they had a new drink served. Great place for groups, drinks and easy reservations! My friend used OpenTable) . Will definitely return.

After our first visit last night, I think it's safe to say it is probably the best Happy Hour offering in the SF South Bay. Good quality, good value, great service and nice club/lounge ambiance. Here's what we shared food-wise... * HH Garlic Noodles -- This didn't quite meet my expectation. Described as a "perfectly cooked pasta tossed in rich garlic butter", what we got was more like a soft udon type noodle with a rather starchy garlic sauce. The taste was definitely very garlicky, but the dish could have been much better with an al dente pasta tossed in an actual garlic butter or olive oil. * HH Wagyu Smash Burger -- This was yum! Great flavor, nicely grilled served on a toasted soft brioche bun. ($15 on HH versus $32 witha side of fries on the Dinner Menu :o) * HH Hamachi Crudo -- This was superb! Fresh generous slices of yellowtail topped with sliced lemon, jalapeno, tobiko and microgreens, perfectly matched with Ponzu sauce. ($12 on HH for 4 pieces versus $23 for 5 pieces on the Dinner menu) * HH Crab Cakes -- 2 medium sized blue crab cakes with diced mango and spicy aioli. Pretty decent for $14. * HH Crispy Brussels Sprouts -- Good standard fare. For drinks, we enjoyed... * HH Weather Pinot Noir -- Our server, Mikayla, said it was her favorite wine on the HH menu. It was very nice. * HH Mango Deck -- Reposado, Jalapeno syrup, lime and mango puree with a 151 rum flambee. Great drink if you like sweet, sour and spicy... and it comes with a show as the 151 rum is lit. Will definitely return. Would love to try the HH Grand Seafood Tower with oysters, yellowtail and salmon sashimi, shrimp and lobster ($65 on HH) which we saw another table order. Looks like a great place for a larger party celebration too.

I thought some dishes were great; the wagyu burger was decadent. Other dishes were not that special. The scallops didn't taste too fresh (likely frozen) and combining them with hummus didn't quite work. The side of bread was practically insulting. $5 for stale table bread was a surprise. Dishes arrived very late; we were nearly forgotten when we tried to order, and then after ordering, we waited 40 minutes between appetizers and the main course. Not because they were cooking it; they just forgot we were there and when they brought out the dishes, the scallops were no longer just-cooked, and the burger had been sitting for a bit. No apology, just an acknowledgment it was late, and no discount (not even on the stale bread). They offered us wine, we said we didn't drink, and they just moved on. Anyway, I met up with some friends here last weekend and we had a reservation at Alter Ego. I guess it's technically 2 places with Still OG. I have to say, I have really fond memories of Original Gravity from back in the day (ah, the days of my youth...) so it's nice that it's still sort of around though.. technically completely different since there's no more craft beer or duck fat fries lol. We hung out at our table for the whole night, like 4 hours. We all ordered cocktails off the menu and later on ordered some stuff off the menu based on the bartender's suggestion. I first ordered a Calabrian Spritz from the menu which hit the spot for me. Personally, I am not a hard alcohol fan but I enjoy wine and fun lil cocktails that are slightly sweet/not super strong lol. So this drink was nice because it wasn't too sweet and had a lot of volume (I like just sipping on stuff in general and it sucks when you order a cocktail that's like 3 sips of liquid and the rest is ice). The next cocktail I ordered was off the menu and called Like This or That (I think). I think it was some sort of passionfruit + vodka mix and very delicious! We also ordered the cold soba noodles and fries. Fries were crinkle cut and nicely crispy, no complaints. Soba noodles were also good, though some component of it was really spicy, I think the cucumbers. Overall I had a good time here and look forward to coming back, though given how little I go out, who knows when that will be haha.

My husband and I had a baby free night out to celebrate my birthday and haberdasher did not disappoint. We went soon after opening so there was no line but I know they tend to have one later in the evening. We were greeted warmly at the door by the attendant who checked our ids. I was even wished a happy early birthday. When going into the bar, you walk down a staircase into a space that makes you forget you're in downtown San Jose with beautiful reds and burgundy decor. The staff is all smartly dressed; the bartender and bar back were both sweet and funny. I ordered a jack rose (my all time favorite), their seasonal watermelon waltz (this may be a new favorite for me, nice and refreshing) and one of their zero proof cocktails called a Mariposa which was soooo good as well. My husband ordered a couple old fashioned and a watermelon waltz for himself. We had an amazing time and look forward to coming back in the future.

I have never once been disappointed with a dish, and I love trying new dishes on their menu. The staff is awesome, and the place has a cool astehtic vibe. I highly recommend, just know that it is a bit pricey but the experience is totally worth it. P.S. they give you palate cleaners snack in between courses for free. I had hibiscus herbal tea and and an adorable mini waffle cone, filled with crème fraîche, and topped with caviar (honestly never thought I'd like caviar before trying out this place for the first time).

The kitchen is open and you can appreciate the chefs working on their open wood fired grills and pizza ovens, which imparts a faint, woody, aromatic fragrance in the restaurant. The staff is polite and courteous. They left a signed note on the table for my husband's birthday which was a sweet gesture. For the drinks, we started with the jean claude pandan, pandan being the my husband's current favorite ingredient in food and drinks. I had the drink with dill, which the server warned me about being centered around the flavor of pickles (which I am personally fond of). The pandan drink was a light and refreshing highball and I found the dill cocktail to be creamy and delicious, but didn't really leave me with a sour aftertaste. For food, we went with the drip trio platter which came with fresh pita bread pieces, and the drip trio of hummus with roe on top, chilled tzatziki, and muhammara. Then we moved on to the oysters which were fresh, will a dressing of an herb oil of some sort. They also had a complementary palette cleanser in between which was a shot of watermelon and orange juice. For maincourse, my husband went for the tagliatelle and I chose the ravioli, both choices were corroborated by our server to be the right ones to go for. The tagliatelle is expensive because of the lobster and caviar that it comes with. However, the pasta is delicious and comes in a decadent sauce. Not a lot of lobster pieces though. The ravioli had a robust mushroom flavor and came with a light sauce of mushrooms, crispy fried shallots, and pine nuts. We skipped dessert because we were pretty full already. Would definitely recommend this place for a cozy dinner out but it's quite expensive so might not be a place to go to frequently.
