My experience with Best Detail was excellent. Jose was very responsive from the start and easy to work with and his pricing was reasonable. I was able to get my vehicle in to his shop in a timely manner. He did a great job incorporating clay bar, polishing and waxing on a vehicle that had not received any exterior detailing in over 6 years. In addition, he was able to remove sunscreen that was embedded in one of the black leather seats. We assumed the seat was damaged and it would never come clean after the sunscreen being there for several years. Jose worked his magic and the seat looks brand new. Since I can't give 10 stars, I might consider writing two reviews, 5 stars each. My interior was soaked at which I let sit for about a week hoping that the smell would just air out on its own. Each time I stepped into my car, I get a whiff of old, wet towels. Not a pleasant smell if I decided to become a chauffeur to influencers. I looked up interior detailing and used "projects" function on Yelp which reaches out to multiple companies by me who can service my car. Best Detail stood out not only for their shiny stars but after reading some of the reviews, it sounded like Jose really understands customer service and cares about his work. I can't recommend Best Detail enough! When the driver's footwell of my RAV4 filled with water due to a clogged sunroof drain, the dealership cleaned the drain and tried to dry the carpet and pad--but two days later, the carpet was still wet and had a terrible smell. Jose at Best Detail came to the rescue. He removed the driver's seat, pulled up the carpet and pad, dried everything thoroughly, and treated both the carpet and pad with a solution that completely eliminated the odor--it hasn't returned since! Not only did they solve the issue effectively, but they returned my car clean, odor-free, and for less than the original quoted estimate. José at Best Detail did an AMAZING job with my 20 year old Nissan Frontier that is parked outside year round and hadn't been cleaned in quite some time. He was able to remove water stains from the fabric seats that I thought would never come out and also removed paint transfer from the fenders that I thought would be impossible to remove. He went the extra mile and even removed the roof rack in order to get full access to the exterior of the car! I honestly can't believe the transformation. The truck looks brand new. Wow, the level of service, professionalism, communication, relationship-building is above and beyond. Jose took great care of me and my car. You can tell he really cares about his customers. I had a bad water leak inside my car on the passenger side. He identified water on the drivers side, and another leak in the trunk, which I didn't even ask him to check, but I'm so glad he did because there was mold in the trunk. He got the car dry quickly and communicated with me every step of the way. They even vacuumed the seats after, which was really nice. I was not disappointed! The minute I walked in I was pleasantly greeted by Jose and just felt welcomed like family. The work Best Detail did was exceptional and Jose even arranged to pick up my car from Uptown Body & Fender as they were running behind schedule with my new bumper and decided that at least he could complete the detail job while Uptown Body & Fender were awaiting the delayed fender and do that I wouldn't have to be further inconvenienced. Was able to schedule a last minute appointment the night before for an early morning full service wash. Also scheduled to get the car detailed a couple weeks out as they're booked out for a bit (if you're thinking about detailing, call them now as they're busy busy busy!) For the morning wash... dropped off the car at 7:30am and got the car back promptly at 9:20am. Upon getting the car back; I was able to meet José - they were very professional and friendly and we had a good conversation about the car and potentially getting it ceramic coated for my next appointment. Despite the car not being too dirty, it was still night and day from when I dropped it off and when I picked it up. They also went above and beyond and vacuumed the interior - practically looked brand new again; both inside and out. Looks like I've found my regular spot to keep the car clean - best part is that they're just down the street from home. I have a classic car, and am very, very picky about who I bring her to. I was at my upholstery shop down the street and was commenting to them about how desperately I needed to get the roof of my car buffed and smoothed out...Years of living next to BART and the freeway and the Port have taken their toll, though I do keep her covered and maintained the first year or two I had her I did not and subsequently the roof became too far gone and hard for me to deal with. this is what is known as "industrial fallout". Looked like lots and lots of tiny rust spots ALL over the roof of my car and the texture almost felt like sandpaper! my upholstery shop highly recommended Jose and Best Detail so I drove right over and talked to him. I got a quote and made an appointment and 2 weeks later brought her back in. when I arrived later that day to pick her up I literally almost started crying. the roof was so smooth and clean and it was in better shape than when I got the car 18 years ago! Spectacular job! I brought my 2017 Mini Clubman S, pepper white with black sport stripes. After the fires my car was covered in ash so I wanted a thorough but gentle clean & paint decontamination so it didn't get swirl marks. They taped off the stripes for the clay bar so they didn't scuff and came back with wax over the entire car. Beautiful! Interior detail was spot on, no greasy cheap plastic protectants, they used high quality scent free UV protectant and leather protectant. No grease, nice and smooth, fresh look, chrome shines, and smells like new! 5/5 stars, I highly recommend! They rung me up $265 or so, fair price for all of the work.
