The cashier who took my order was very friendly and efficient. I got a Matcha Pandan (75% sweet). I waited around 5 mins before I received my drink. Honestly, I would give the drink 3.5 stars. What I really liked was that I could taste the pandan! I also thought 75% sweetness was perfect for me. The size of the drink was also generous for the price as I'm used to smaller sizes at other matcha cafes for the same price. However, I didn't really taste the matcha which was odd because before mixing my drink fully, I took a quick sip and definitely tasted matcha. Once I did mix it though, the matcha flavor was gone, and I mainly just tasted pandan. Overall, mainly giving Airoma 4 stars for the service and efficiency! My drink was good, but not mind-blowing. I like this location more than others because of the bigger parking lot, more seating options (including an upstairs area and outdoor seating), and I've also received better service here compared to other locations. The place is simply decorated, and it honestly is a solid spot if you're looking to crank out some work or meet with colleagues/friends. It does get pretty crowded so it's better to get an early head start if you can, especially on the weekends. In terms of their drinks, my favorite is the blueberry lavender matcha latte. It's on the sweeter side and has a floral aftertaste, but the flavors mix really well together. I typically get their matcha drinks or teas because I'm not a fan of coffee, but my friends that are coffee fiends are fans of the various coffee drinks here. Compared to other cafes, I feel like the cost of the drinks is standard, but the prepared food and pastries are on the steeper side. The interior had high ceilings and modern practical decor. Staff will take your order at the cashier, but they also have a kiosk if you want to avoid human interaction. I was here for a few hours, so I started off with a hot beverage since I saw that they have mug service. I had the hot Churro Latte ($8.15/large) and I was warned it's a bit sweet so staff suggested that I get it less sweet. I appreciated the gesture but maybe that's why I didn't taste too much of the churro flavor. It tasted like a good regular latte but maybe they held back on the caramel and cinnamon to the point I couldn't detect it. Seating is first come first serve. It was actually really busy and difficult to find an ideal spot. Since I was alone I sat at a high top ledge, strategically near an outlet. From what I saw, they had a really good amount of outlets in the indoor seating area. Later on I went back and ordered an iced Blueberry Lavender Matcha with Cold Foam ($9.25/large) and a Deluxe Avocado Toast ($15) which comes with egg, bacon, and herb oil. I like that this location serves the avocado toast with a knife and fork cause it was much needed. It was a bit on the wet side. Maybe I should ask for light herb oil next time. For how much this avocado toast cost, I would have liked more avocado. The avocado was more of a spread, not whole slices of avocado. Still good, just an observation. The blueberry lavender matcha was okay. I could taste the lavender but it was overpowering the matcha and the blueberry was hard to detect at all. Honestly the location and plentiful seatings is what stood out most from this experience. I would consider coming back since I know their products are good from trying their other locations but I wouldn't get the drinks I ordered this time. For how expensive coming here was, I wish I was a little more satisfied.

I was happy to pay whatever the price was. I just wanted my coffee made the way I asked for it. It felt like they were more concerned that I might be trying to get away with something than simply making a customer happy. A simple, "No problem, we'll ring it up as an Americano," would have been perfectly fine. Instead, the interaction felt unnecessarily argumentative. Hopefully it was just an off day, but customer service matters just as much as the coffee.

I've tried Coconut Coffee from Da Vien and Kei Coffee House and I much prefer the one from Phin Smith. The coconut milk they use just tastes better. Also, their espresso shots are strong and pairs well with the coconut milk. It is not overly sweet and just tastes better. I still love the fact that they don't charge extra for getting an extra shot of espresso in your drink! Service here is always great - baristas and cashiers are friendly and helpful. Love Phin Smith!
