Such a unique coffee shop! And one I often forget about if I'm honest, but in a recent visit to the brewery district for a meeting I was reminded of its charm. Tucked into Pabst Best Place building, it boasts of old architecture. The ceilings and dark woodwork give it a very cozy vibe. My favorite part though is the little courtyard attached. Service wasn't the most friendly, but the coffee was delish! I went with the pumpkin spice latte, which was on their seasonal menu among other really tasty-sounding options. It wasn't too sweet and had the perfect amount of "spice" if that even makes sense. Would definitely order again. They've got tons on their menu here, including teas, beers, seltzers, and spirits. So whether you're here for the Pabst tours, gift shops, or just in the area, this is a good place to stop.

The architecture at the Best Place has an old world, historic feel. When you're sitting in the patio, it honestly doesn't feel like you are in Milwaukee because you can see castle turrets towering over. The seasonal drinks here are one of my favorites because they aren't overly sweet but hit the mark with the name and taste matching. I got a cookie butter latte with oat milk which is a great combo. It's so delicious and creamy, I got it hot and iced and personally prefer it hot. Their cranberry, lemon and ginger scone is perfect, not too crumbly and all the flavors work well together. Every time I go in, the service is great. Very friendly staff and helpful. One of my favorite coffee shops!

The staff were really nice and engaging. Loved the old feel and atmosphere. The coffee choices were great and I enjoyed my iced latte!

Really cute coffee shop in the center of Pabst town! It is pet friendly so we brought our pup. The inside of the coffee shop has stained glass windows, and even pbr coffee. They had a bunch of seasonal options as well as a few pastries. We ended up getting the quiche, and a bagel, along with a hot coffee & their seasonal latte. We enjoyed our goodies on the patio which has some fun tables to enjoy outside but still covered if the sun is too hot or the weather is iffy. We'll definitely be back when in the area!

I really enjoyed this stop mainly for the building itself and the history behind it. Such a cool place, and just really great how they maintained all the Pabst buildings. The workers were kind, the muffins were delicious, and our drinks were just okay.

Cute corner coffee shop in the Pabst brewery. Very nostalgic with PBR stained glass windows, merch for sale, and old tyme decor. The late afternoon was a quiet time. We split a cinnamon cookie and enjoyed a special pistachio mint latte and orange thyme matcha and were able to sub in oat milk. Our friend ordered a honey badger latte and deemed it too sweet.

We love visiting Best Place Coffee! The baristas are so sweet and helpful. We stopped in during the Krampus Festival this winter and loved trying the mulled wine. We always have a great experience when we visit!

Friendly staff, cool ambiance, and a nice patio. The spicy maple latte is on point. Check it out!

Never crowded. My favorite beverage is on the iced herbal tea menu! Tastes great when turmeric and ginger are added. The baristas are pleasant. There's the patio/garden area to enjoy. From an aesthetic perspective, I enjoy the "old schoolhouse brewery" appearance.

Best Place has been on my list to try for months and I'm so glad I finally made it out here. The ambiance is amazing and cozy, and they have the cutest courtyard with tables and benches to sit and work or just enjoy your coffee. I would already rank this high on my list of favorite lattes in Milwaukee. Can't wait to come back!

We really enjoyed the chill vibes and liked the historic classy decor and the super friendly barista here. I think the coffee is not like wow but decent. The seasonal espresso tonic was pretty sweet and the coffee taste was covered by other add-ins completely. The honey badger latte was nicely done - creamy and flavorful. The foam was frothed to a bit too thick and made it feel like a Cappuccino to me though haha. It was great to have a coffee shop that serves a variety of coffee drinks and opens every day at the historic Pabst brewery. We recommend you to make a stop here if you are looking for a unique coffee shop in Milwaukee. Parking is not difficult when it's not at happy hour or around dinner time in this area I think (which is good for getting coffee).

This is a terrific historic restoration and re-use. Love the stained glass, timber frame, and courtyard. The coffee and food is decent, too.

Since this coffee shop is located inside the Public Market in the Third Ward, it was very crowded when we visited. We were able to place our orders right away, but there were easily twenty people waiting for their drinks. The baristas clearly had a lot going on, yet they handled the rush extremely well. Everything still moved smoothly, and the crowd was surprisingly patient. I ordered a 20 oz iced caramel latte ($6.75), and it was incredible. It was so creamy and rich and reminded me of those Werther's caramel coffee hard candies in the best way. My friends all took a sip of mine and ended up liking my drink more than their own, which made it even better. Honestly, this was one of the best lattes I have ever had. Despite the busy atmosphere, the quality of the drink and the efficient service really stood out. I would absolutely come back the next time I am in the area.

I love sandwiches and knew I had to try the pastrami. It was fantastic. I've been trying to cut back on caffeine and I instead went with one of their refreshers on the menu. It was I believe and 'Blue and Grapefruit' - and that wasn't my favorite as someone who doesn't really care for grapefruit that much. I got it thinking it would be diluted a bit, SO, if you like grapefruit, I'm sure it's perfect for you. I also got a peanut butter oreo pie and wish I took a picture of it...but I devoured it too quick to even think about it. For me, that dessert was the definite highlight of the cafe. I'll definitely come back on more weekends when I have a craving for pastrami.

I ordered a London Fog Tea Latte, with a little lavender and a little vanilla, in a mug. The barista did a nice job and gave the tea a good long steep. It had excellent flavor, and the temperature was right (about 140°F). It would have been even better with a bit more foam on top. For bakery items, they had a big pile of large cookies (cowboy?), but not much else. The food menu is a little sparse but has some good options for breakfast or lunch sandwiches. I ordered a Cubano sandwich, which turned out to be an excellent choice. It came out hot, with nicely grilled bread and savory meats inside. The roasted pork was especially tender and flavorful. It came with a small container of slaw, which was a little uninspiring. Service: The person who took my order and made my drink did a nice job. She took her time and did a good job with the drink. I appreciated that they delivered both the drink and the food to the table. She was a bit soft-spoken and a little hard to hear with the music playing. Efficient, but not especially outgoing. Atmosphere: The space has a bit of an industrial minimalist feel. High ceilings with the mechanicals in plain sight, along with colorful paint and design elements. Seating can accommodate groups of different sizes, though there aren't too many spots ideal for couples. The space can be a bit echoey, and the volume of the music could make conversation challenging at times. It's a nice spot for groups to hang out, and there was a larger table where people were working and collaborating. A decent spot for hanging out at lunch or later in the afternoon.
