warning don't buy a car from burls used car lot, he sells…read morejunk cars. we bought a 2011 dodge grand caravan last year weeks later we started having flashing lights on the dash, then we notified burl, he had his tow man come pick up the car. he said he had to order a computer box for it, we continue waiting for our car for a month, he rigged it enough for us to drive never put a computer. then a week later we had radiator issues. car needed to be towed again. then he decided to send our account to a third party credit collection company, for whatever reason. we were always on time with payments. all im saying is please think about going here before you buy a car here.

We had a due bill for a few items after the sale, and they did an outstanding job. The work was completed efficiently, and the car looks even better than when we purchased it. The sales experience itself was more mixed. We came in with a very clear objective: we had a firm budget and were focused solely on the out-the-door price. We communicated that from the beginning and were consistent throughout the process. The initial numbers presented were nearly $2,000 higher than our target, so naturally there was some negotiation. What surprised me was a comment from the sales manager that seemed to place blame on us for the price we were offering. Our negotiation was respectful and non-confrontational, and Matt handled everything professionally. The sales manager's response felt unnecessary, especially given how clearly we had communicated our goals. It came across as petty and out of touch with the tone of the conversation. Ironically, we ultimately agreed to a price that was about $350 higher than our original target. Despite being heavily involved in the negotiation, the sales manager never came over afterward to shake our hands, thank us for our business, or help close the experience on a positive note. For me, the car-buying experience is about more than the final number. It's about how customers are treated throughout the process. Matt understood that. The service team understood that. Unfortunately, the sales manager missed the mark. That said, we're happy with the vehicle and appreciate the efforts of everyone who helped after the sale. After about 10-15 mins of Miata talk, I asked if he was in new sales, and sure enough, he was and I knew I had found the salesman I wanted to work with. Patrick was absolutely amazing to work with. He didn't make us feel pressured in anyway, and it was probably the smoothest car purchase I've ever experienced in my life. Patrick was very personable and easy to work with. We never felt pressured in anyway. Dealership pricing was fair and the staff was amazing. We will definitely be buying all of our future Mazda's from not only El Dorado Mazda of McKinney, but from Patrick. There was some minor issues but the most glaring was the check engine light. David said the issues would be taken care of, go to lunch and come back in a couple of hours. He called me and said they needed a part that would not be there until Monday. David paid for my flight home and said the truck would be shipped to me. I received the truck late the next week. When driving from where I received the truck, the check engine light came on. I notified him of this issue and he said to have it fixed locally and he would reimburse me. It has been several months and many texts and calls and still no reimbursement. Up until this point, David lived up to his word but I am extremely disappointed to have to write a partial negative review due to not receiving this promised reimbursement. In addition, the check engine issue took two times to resolve, the second requiring an additional cost which I decided to absorb thinking I would get the promised reimbursement. In closing, David did live up to his word on everything until this reimbursement issue so I can't give a 5 star review due to this

He took really good care of her. I appreciate that especially because she is a senior citizen. Also the service department is quick and reliable. I highly recommend making an appointment. Whenever I take her car in for an oil change, recall or tire rotation. I leave feeling satisfied with the service. Our service advisor is equally amazing. The car wash to wash your car is a BONUS! The free bbq, chicken and hamburgers on Saturdays was fun in the past. The other salespeople are always friendly and helpful. I enjoy talking with them about life and cars. So I salute this dealership. From my sales experience and service experience to customer service they are top notch, This review was long overdue as I have been multiple times and they deserve their flowers and kudos. Honda McKinney is classy! The best Honda dealership out there. I disliked other dealerships. This one is my favorite one!
