Great, fast service. I was going to come in first thing in the morning since I read all the other reviews. But I decided to try coming in on a Monday at 3:00 and they had no one else there! It just depends on if you get lucky. The main guy was down to earth. They both went straight to work and barely spoke to one another the whole time they were working. They paid good attention to the details to make sure all the bubbles were out. Three choices of tint types: ~$180 (3 year warranty), ~$230 (lifetime warranty blocks out some of the IR rays), or the ceramic ~$520 one that blocks out almost 100% of the IR rays so it keeps your car cooler. If you have to get the tint removed, he will charge you $20. Four choices of tint shades. I just went for the two hundred dollar one and chose the middle two shades. Jin is the man, really honest and knows his stuff. Price is unbelievable for amazing work. I've been coming here for 3 of my cars (Mustang, Audi A4, and Ford Edge) and each time reminded why I've kept coming back. The tint came out very clean and slick, you can tell they spent a lot of time on it. A lot of negative comments because of the 1st come 1st serve rule and I understand most people have to work on the weekday. That's why I came 30 minutes prior to opening on the weekend. That puts me 3rd in place and my car was done by noon. Yes I agree that is inconvenient but hey they communicated their policy and you have a choice to do business with them or not. I gave my friend recommendation since he got crazy prices all over Irvine for his Eurovan weekender. I had been here two times prior, once to retint the rear and quarter windows on my Mustang and another to remove the tint from the front windshield of my truck. I stopped by there again to get the tint on the front and rear doors of my truck removed and replaced, but they decided they needed to help another customer who "parked in the parking lot before you pulled in" despite the fact that he was sitting in his car and was not even going to wait for his car. I was told it would be at least 3 hours before they would even start on my truck. I did not want to spend that amount of time waiting, especially given that the other guy wasn't even waiting for his car and, being Southern California, I could easily find an alternative shop. I went to Alpha Tint down the street and could not be happier. Alpha Tint got me in and sent on my way in about 2 hours and he was very thorough on removing the old tint as well as making sure the air bubbles were gone, plus he was $60 cheaper. I did not want to go somewhere else, but they made it clear they did not need my business. read more

Damn! I forgot to mention Yelp for my discount, but either way the tint job is tities. I have had my tint on for almost 2 years without any problems or bubbles at all. You cannot pass up a respectable place like this. It is well established, most tint is guaranteed for life (with original receipt), and done with precision. I have a Honda Fit with 9 (NINE) windows to be covered! It cost me $200 for limo all around (%5) with a lifetime warranty! I know the name of the place could use a little work but don't judge the place by such a generic name. It's quite genius actually. It's the Best Tint you could find around these parts. I came through by recommendation from two trustworthy contacts that have done business @ Best Tint. Once they told me about the place, I was even more convinced since their Yelp rating is practically perfect. I called the place to ask some general questions. Jin, I believe is the owner answered every question I threw at him. See, my car came with factory tints from the dealer (so I thought). I wanted them to be darker so I asked Jin about them. He informed that the windows are in fact not tints. The windows are actually shaded colored windows so he didn't have to peel any existing tint off first. All he suggested was putting tint on top of the windows and it'll do the trick. Key notes. They only use Solar Gard brand. There's three levels: basic which doesn't have all the warranties but is the cheapest route. The middle quality and their most popular which is about $50 more than their lowest option. That comes with life time warranty (any peeling, fading, etc., you can bring it right back without a charge). The last option is also called the ceramic tint. Blocks out the most UV but it's definitely going to cost you $$$. A big heads up, they DO NOT take any appointments. First come, first serve. The shop is small, they probably work on two cars max at a time. On one hand, it's great. These guys do a sick job, very exact, and very clean. On the other hand, you will need some patience. Summer time is their busiest time for obvious reasons. I brought my car in on December 31, 2015. They open @ 9am and I was there @ 08:45am. I pulled up and the shop is still closed but I'm already the third vehicle in line. The guys started working @ 9am sharp. I finally got to meet Jin and he was as friendly and cheery as he was on the phone. Not too pushy and quite knowledgeable. I told him about my shaded windows and decided to go with the medium quality Solar Gards. Since the back windows were already shaded, I picked a semi dark tint. This produced exactly what I wanted which was a darker, sleeker look on my car. The job took exactly 3 hours to complete. I had tint work on a SUV so there were many windows to complete. I came back and Jin reiterated about the warranty coverage and to come back if I had any issues or future problems with the tints. It's been about two weeks now and the tints are great. It was exactly what we were looking for. You can say that Best Tint costs a little more than your other tint joints. I use to take my car to California Tint in Rosemead when I lived in LA. However, I am very pleased with the work Best Tint did for us and think it was worth the price and long drive down to Stanton to get the job done. Lastly, don't roll down your windows or try to wash/clean them for at least 48 hours after the job. Jin and/or his crew will warn you a few times before you leave their shop. I've been coming to Jin and crew for years and finally writing a review. I recently sold my Honda s2000 (which was tinted by him) and picked up a new 2015 Jaguar F Type. Note...that Best Tint is a first come first serve basis. So your best bet is getting here at least 15-30 minutes before they open. When I got here on Saturday at 8:50am, there were already 2 cars ahead of me. Fortunately, Best Tint is well staffed and Jin got to my car by 10:00am. I went with a medium tint as I wanted to it match the black accents and black contrast roof thats on my car. Extreme care was taken when prepping my car. When all was done, Jin did walk around and inspected each window to make sure the tint was applied carefully. He then took a terry cloth and wiped down the interior door panels of any excess overspray. Finishing touch was a piece of tape that says "Do not roll down windows for 48 hours" placed on my window switches. I was out of there by noon. Thanks Jin! read more

It's difficult to find oldschool businesses such as Best Tint these days. So it was a delight to see them in action. They operate on a first-come, first-serve basis so set aside a day to have tint installed. Overall the tint job was satisfactory considering they had to remove old tint and apply new. Some sections had small bubbles or blade marks that were not intended but I wasn't expecting a high-end install especially for the service I paid. I also wished they would let me know about the errors or the door pieces they couldn't help but crack because of the age. There were about two cars in front of mine on a weds afternoon for tint removal and retint. It took maybe 4 hours to be complete. They were prompt and called me as soon as my car was done. Third car here. This place is cool. No hassle pricing for lifetime warranty tinting. First car was 7 years ago and the tint is still perfect. The shade is a real black/gray color. Not the cheap looking one that turns red as it fades. First come first serve, no appointments so be ready to leave your car or come early in the morning. Usually less than 3 hours though. So I came here after reading a few reviews. This place is a small business opened for decades. It was easy to find with lots of parking spaces. I had to wait a bit because there was a car before me but once they started on my car it didn't take long (approximately 1-1.5 hours) and they did a wonderful job. They have 3 category of choices to pick from that vary on pricing depending on your car make and model. I picked a the middle option for $230 for my car make and model which included the 4 doors and rear window with lifetime warranty. Only thing I wish they would have done better is clean off the liquid markings that dripped on the outside and inside of my car from the labor. It wasn't hard to clean myself, but I just got a car wash recently and it took some time to clean it again myself. Otherwise great place to get your window tint done with great prices. read more

I bought the tint that came with lifetime warranty but the problem was that I couldn't find my receipt. I took my car in today and they were able to look my name and information up through their computer database and was able to re tint my back windshield. It looks perfect.
