I got my car tinted here about 3 years ago and they did a great job at the time. My cars rear windshield recently started bubbling and it was hard for me to see out of it. I bought the tint that came with lifetime warranty but the problem was that I couldn't find my receipt. I took my car in today and they were able to look my name and information up through their computer database and was able to re tint my back windshield. It looks perfect. Other places might be able to do it for cheaper but it's worth getting your car tinted here since it comes with a lifetime warranty. I'd recommend anyone to get their car tinted here. read more

Jin is super friendly! Definitely come here for your tinting or car alarm security. I wanted to use my factory remote instead of a separate viper one and they were able to do so. It only took them 1.5 hrs to install. They'll also adjust the sensitivity - I requested to lower mine a bit so it doesn't go off on fireworks. It's cash only so make sure to take some out before. Helpful tip to anyone thinking of going here: go to Auto Tint Specialists in Huntington Beach instead. They treat their repeat customers much better, use great tint materials and lifetime warranty for much less money than Best Tint. And if you get a fix-it ticket, they won't try to gouge you like Best Tint does. So here's what happened. I originally went to Best Tint Auto, and it was my first time getting tint so I was asking questions about cops and tint tickets. The guy told me over and over that cops won't give me a ticket for how light my front tint was and I have nothing to worry about. But sure enough...CHP bagged me. So I called Best Tint about getting it *taken care of* for the fix-it ticket and he denied every thing he had originally said, argued with me about it and told me it would be $80. Hows that for rewarding loyalty?? I decided to look around for someone else to take care of it and Auto Tint Specialist saved the day. I called Best Tint and spoke to Alex about getting a quote for my car. He was very helpful and answered all of my questions without rushing me to get off the phone. Prior to me calling, I had called other shops nearby for quotes as well, and those shops sounded like they were annoyed with me calling, never called me back for my quote, or just put me on hold for a long ass time. After speaking with them, I stopped calling around and decided to go with Best Tint. I showed up on a Tuesday, around 10am. Jin came up to me and I explained to him that I had to remove my old tint (which turned purple and started bubbling), put in new tint, and possibly purchase a sub to hook up in my car. He was very helpful and patient when it came to choosing which shade to use. Now the best part.........he didn't put pressure me or try to upsell anything. I've dealt with a lot of shops and know how they are when they have a female customer. They assume women don't know much and try to get them to buy extra stuff. So ladies, be assured that they wont try to pull anything on you. Also, Jin had good recommendations on what subs to get, and he explained why they were right for my car and why some weren't. They are all very professional. The previous place I went to in northern cali left dirty foot prints all over my rear seats in my brand freakin new car. Awesome place. They took only an hour to tint all 4 windows AND a car alarm system (VIPER) on my boyfriend's car for his birthday even though they said it'll take a few hours. I forgot how much the prices were, but it was pretty cheap. They do guarantee lifetime warranty on them. Jin is so friendly and welcoming! I took my 2012 Prius here to get tinted [woohoo first car :D] I tinted all 5 windows [35% front (2nd shade) & 20% back (3rd shade)] for $180. This comes with a 3 year guarantee against bubbling, peeling, etc. This is the lowest of 3 types of tinting available at Best Tint Auto Center. They are located on the busy Beach Blvd; the interior was nice with a some seats for customers who want to wait for their vehicle. I called on a Friday around 4pm and since it is first come first serve, Jin suggested I bring the car Saturday morning. I came by at 9am and there were a couple other people waiting as well. Lifetime means Lifetime warranty! Took my car here for tint 7 years ago and paid a little extra for the lifetime warranty. These guys did an excellent job. However, a few years later, the tint started peeling. Brought it back 7 years later and they worked on it with no questions asked. Went here to get tint installed on my Toyota Tacoma. Saw the reviews on yelp and decided to give them a shot, perfect 5 score so hard to beat that. Install time was what they said it would be. I'm a perfectionist so any small bubbles or anything and I will send it back to be redone. Came here in 2007 and got their lifetime warranty tint. To be honest, when I first got it done, I wasn't even sure if the place would stay in business for it to be 'lifetime.' Sometime this year, my tint started to get a little blurry in the back, and bubbling in the front. I found them on Yelp (yay, still in business, and geez, look at their awesome reviews!) and decided to swing by. Turns out, it's first come, first served, and with 2-3 parties ahead of me, I was told that they wouldn't be able to see me, especially considering that removing and retinting my car would be ~4 hour job. I decided to come early the next time, which paid off. They were finishing up another car from the day before, I think, and then went to work on mine. They ended up finishing within three hours and I left with clean, brand spanking new tints. Now, what makes this a five-star place is definitely the easy-going attitude of the employees there. While in 2007, I dropped off my car and picked it up once the tint was done, this time, I stuck around. Observations: they gave unbiased, truthful opinions/advice to others, and I saw a few regulars drop in to say hello. They were polite and accommodating to all phone calls and all walk-ins. Based on the reviews here, I went to Best Tint and was pleasantly surprised. "Jin" is the one you want to talk to, very cordial and professional. He even bought me lunch! Best Tint has four shades and use two types of SolarGard (among the best) tint: Premium, a 3-year warranty and Supreme, a life-time warranty. I went to this place not to get my windows tinted, but to get an alarm for my car. I had called initially several days ahead before actually heading down to the place in person. Jin picked up the phone and as others have said, has a tone of voice that is easy to talk to. When i had met Jin in person, again, was very easy to talk to. Jin showed me a couple different alarms but I had already decided on a certain viper alarm model since they are an authorized dealer to sell this alarm in case anything were to happen, i can put the warranty to use. Install time was very accurate to what Jin had quoted me 4-5 hours. I had already had a viper alarm put in the car from previous owner, but from what I had learned and observed, it was a crap install; so they pulled out all old wirings and put in fresh new ones with way way better organizations compared to the old one. The alarm itself is great. I still need to learn some of the features. Aside from that, price was very reasonable and Jin was very easy to work with. Its better to get an install right the first time rather than put out money for a crap install and then having to put out more money to fix the problems. The guys at Best tint did it right. On a side note; I love their TreeFrogs squash air freshener they carry. Makes car smell fresh every time i step in it. read more

There are numerous similar businesses that offer tint/car accessories, but with competitive prices. I believe that I paid a premium price for 2 windows and a rear window, but it was well worth the quality of the work. There was one issue with the entire process, one of the installer did not place the handle cover back on. As soon as I noticed, I gave a call to Jin and he enthusiastically ensured that if the problem was caused by them, he would fix it and order a replacement part. Luckily, he did not have to order any parts because he was able to locate the missing piece. As a token of the inconvenience caused, he offered a car freshener. My Kenwood deck just "died" and after coming to grips with it, I made my way over to see what these guys could do for me. I found my receipts and was hoping they'd be open on time, since yelp.com did say that it opens at 9am. Well, I got there a few minutes early and they were already open, floors mopped clean and their shop was spotless and ready for a busy day. Without even looking at the receipts, they had remembered me and greeted me like I was there just yesterday. Since I usually start work at 9am, I didn't want to be too late so I was prepared to ride my bicycle from there to my office. Instead, they had me out of there in 20 MINUTES with my stereo working perfectly again (my deck was still under warranty, so the face plate was swapped out). So like many others before me, the 5 star reviews got me there. I needed an alarm for my Sienna and they seemed like the best choice. Having done the research and thinking of installing it myself, I knew it wasn't an easy job so I left it to the pros. Jin was helpful in choosing the right alarm, offering a cheaper model for just the functions I needed. No hard upsell tactics. I ended up choosing a higher end Viper model. Being a multihour job I needed a rental. Instead of me calling the rental place to pick me up, Jin offered to drop me off. He even went the extra mile of walking in with me and getting a 10% discount off the rental. He promptly called as soon as the job was done. After the previous awesome experience with Best Tint, we decided to bring back all of other cars to get tinted with them. We got 3 cars tinted with their top of the line ceramic tint and the results were astonishing. One of the vehicle already had tint on the front windows that made it hard to see out of at night. (20% charcol) Their tint material offers much better hear rejection and better visibility than the old tint on my car. It's a noticeable difference. We even tinted the windshield on the minivan which turned out to be an awesome decision seeing as we spend quite a bit of time in the car with our 6 months old baby. We also upgraded the headlight on the minivan to a 5000k HID bulb that made a huge difference for illumination. I am a very detail oriented person by profession and I trust Jin and Best Tint with all of my vehicles. read more

*** UPDATE *** The tints that were installed were not ceramic. Also, the tints have some clouding effect under direct sunlight. For the price, I would recommend getting Pinnacle Formula One Ceramics instead. Better heat rejection, no cloudy / hazing effect. etc etc. compared to Solar Guard Ultra Performance. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Had some "Ceramic" tints done here (20% back, 30% front) and the price is a bit steep compared to other. However, they do an awesome job. Cuts are perfect, not too many dust trapped inside the tints (for the price paid, I'd expect perfection), but seeing how no one does tinting in a vacuum sealed room / dust free environment, there are bound to be a few stranded dust particles. And like everyone says, "first come first served". I was the first guy to show up and minutes later, drones of people started coming in. They were very aggressive too trying to cut in line as I was on the phone trying to find a ride. But they know what sup. One of the guy spotted me and said, (wait, he was here first) as another customer was just going in straight to one of the employees. I think having an appointment system would be better? That's just me. And be careful where you park if you care about your car. Some customers don't know how to park. My car was almost clipped by a truck when the guy opened his door to show one of the workers something. There were a few bubbles but it all went away as time passed by. It's been a week and the window is still cloudy. But it's clearing up. I still need to check each window closely for dusts / particles trapped under the tint. But from the driver side seat, it looks pretty good. A lot better than my past experience with other tint shops. This other shop I had my previous car done, I spotted 3 annoying dust particles on the driver side window. Took my car back and he refused to redo it. He did remove the front windshield tint for free as it was giving me eye strain for some reason. read more

Just got my Prius tinted from Best Tint after searching many local shops near by neighborhood. Jay provided me with a quote over the phone, drove down to the shop for the tint. His pricing is very reasonable for the job. Jay is extremely friendly and courteous, got my car in-and-out in about 2 hours, since he had two other cars ahead of me. My actual tint probably took about an hour. After the tint was applied, Jay showed me around the window edges where the top part of the window rubber seal was slightly biting down on the window, causing it to bend just a bit. Jay took his plastic tool and pushed the seal flush against the frame to fix it. I am very happy with their work and will be referring customers to his shop in the future.
