Only vending machine is broken. The proprietor Lynn and their sweet Greyhound, Sage, met us at the front door. The architecture is fantastic, with ultra high ceilings in the common space, and smooth concrete floors and walls. Our room had a view of the plains and a soaking tub that was a welcome respite after our windy trek. Paul and Lynn are an absolute delight. We were treated to champagne and chocolate in our roommate. Breakfast was delicious! We are thinking about making this our Valentine tradition.

To the left is a large seating area for breakfast service. All day coffee and a business center are between the breakfast area and the elevators. An empty space past the breakfast area looks like future plans. A bar maybe? An outdoor area under a pergola is accessed from that empty space. This hotel is four floors. Hallways are carpeted. Indoor pool and gym are behind locked doors and not visible to hallway traffic. Guest rooms have wood floors and are decorated in a European, minimalist style. Every room is a suite. Our King room included an open closet area, a padded bench, dresser desk, sofa and two multi-purpose tables. The lower one was used as a bedside table but could also be a coffee table, while the taller one made a good spot for small luggage and bags. I also used it as a work space. Just inside the door are coat hooks, a full length mirror, fridge, microwave, coffee and ice services. The bed was comfortably firm with a variety of pillows. Duvet was soft and a nice weight for our July stay. Lamp and bedside table on one side of bed and a wall lamp over the multi-use table near the bed on the other side. Plenty of plugs on both sides of bed. Aircon controls are on the wall near the window. Windows have two rolling shades: 1 for privacy that lets in light, 1 room darkening that worked great. Desk is big enough for our needs. Plents of plugs there both in the base of the lamp and an additional on-desk adapter. TV is a good size for the room. Guests who are members have access to free wifi. Membership is free. Bathroom is a good size and clean with a nice shower stall enclosed by two rolling glass doors. Multi-use shampoo, conditioner and 'body lotion' (shower gel?) are mounted in shower. Water pressure is gentle. Not slow, just not fierce: gentle. Bath mat hangs on shower door. Light and fan are on seperate switches. Vanity is a good size, but there is no place to hang toiletry bags. Two drawers in vanity will hold your personal care items. Towels are stored under the vanity on a shelf. TP is there as well. One hook behind door on wall. Single use bar of hand soap and other items on vanity top. Breakfast included two large hot food pans: one with sausage patties and one with small omlettes. Add ins like salt, pepper and hot sauce were provided. Three cold cereal options looked like fruitloops, raisin bran plus one more. Instant oatmeal only. Bananas were green. Apple and orange juice and ice water were available. Two waffle stations were kn the buffet line. Two toasters are next with bread, english muffins and bagels along with muffins. Butter, peanut butter and jelly are on the counter, cream cheese and yogurt are in a fridge near the cereal. Plenty of paper plates and napkins plus plastic utensils on two of the counters. Bowls and plastic cups near the cereal and juice dispenser. Coffee is served from a machine. It is strong - even when selecting a medium brew. Hot water is at a 'ready to drink' temp so not hot enough to brew a proper cup of tea. Plenty of parking with permit spaces by the door and member parking by the lot entrance. Covered portico for loading and unloading. Public restrooms to the left of reception near elevators. Ice machine is in the elevator hallway on upper floors.

When we checked in the room had showers but she was able to find a room with a walk in shower. I asked for a stool to sit on in the shower. Front desk did look, but was unable to find one. The bathroom was so small that it was impossible to get a knee walker to get turned around in the bathroom. A shower was impossible! The toilet was so short that we had go out and buy a riser toilet. The bathroom had no rails. I don't think they gave us a handicapped room. We wanted the fan in the room off. I checked the wall unit and the air blowing unit to try and shut the fan off. I went to the front desk and they had to come show me a button on the floor that turned the fan off. ?? Seems logical that if people wanted a fan off, they would have a note in the room, saying how to shut the fan off. If it's a hidden button on the floor beside the fan. Seriously? For a new hotel this feature is ridiculous. We wanted to relax and watch TV. I went to the desk to ask how to get operate the TV. I was told that I had input "10" to get the menu. I asked the front desk how I was supposed to know that and she just shrugged. I inputted "10" got the menu selected a channel (or what I thought was a channel) I went back to the front desk because it didn't work. She did come and help but it felt like she was put out. (it turns out I should have selected the second set of numbers to the left of the first set (sound confused? - it was!!!!). Very irritating. If spectrum in Cheyenne is so complicated on their TV they should have a little guy to help wouldn't you think. The next morning we had issues with our car not starting and needed to get to an appointment in Ft Collins. I ask for a late checkout by two hours so I could leave the luggage in the room. Go to the appointment and come back and deal with the car issue. I was told that was not possible. And I was not offered the option of the front desk holding the luggage. There were three or four times that I observed that the front desk was not manned. When asking about the late checkout out (picture that I'm in a bit of a panic mode to figure out how to get to the medical appointment) I had to go behind the desk and look for someone to assist me. The walls are thin and you can hear conversations in the next room and in the rooms above. For a new Hotel this seems unacceptable. Minor issue - I had to ask for the water in the lobby to be refilled. Minor issue - the bedside clock was not working. Minor issue - there were only four hangers to hang clothes. For a new hotel it would be my LAST CHOICE to stay again.

The employees were wonderful & extremely helpful, and the park was very clean and well maintained, including extremely clean bathrooms. The park has a lot to offer--a nice clean swimming pool, cute putt-putt golf, a small play area for kids and a convenient shuttle to the Frontier Days Rodeo. There's also a small store on site for forgotten essentials. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

I feel like this is the absolute most honest response about this place. To top it off, I would swear that I reserved a pull through with a full hook up which is not what we got. I would look at my reservation but the email only confirms you have one, not what you specifically reserved. You are packed in here tighter than sardines. I mean it's absolutely awful. It's dry. It's dusty. The grass is brown unless you're lucky enough to get a pull through. If you don't believe me, look at the pictures. And no, it doesn't look like the other rv parks are any different. The playground was a tetanus shot waiting to happen. The dog area is about the size of a 5th wheel and the office tells you that is the only place dogs can go to the bathroom. I tried but I couldn't force my dogs from holding it until we got there. They don't enforce quiet hours. They don't have a store even though the sign says otherwise. I don't have an explanation for why there were tents in the mini golf course either. So by now I bet you're wondering why I gave it 2 stars. Welp, that's because the guy who backed trailers in knew what he was doing, the pool area was clean, and the showers were nice. There wasn't a ton of water pressure but they looked like the only thing here that had any effort put into it. Even the women's bathroom was usually out of toilet paper. They also offer a shuttle to frontier days and for the concerts at night. But it's more expensive than the one off 25 and less convenient. I also can't guarantee it will actually start when needed as we heard this morning. But at least they have one.

I came to help for the first time and I can't say enough nice things about this campground. The bathrooms are the cleanest I've ever seen, they have multiple private locking rooms with showers and toilets and due to the fact I didn't plan ahead I got a spot on the side right by the street (which I believe is a busy one) and I still didn't hear a single noise. They also have laundry on site in the building with the multiple private bathrooms/shower rooms which requires a keycard to gain access so that's great extra security! I would come in at 10pm and felt like I was making the most noise because the campground is that quiet. I HIGHLY recommend this place and when I bring my wife back to see Cheyenne I'm staying no other place! I'm guessing it's a family ran campground because the daughter recognized my friend who booked it at the Frontier Days and checked in on us and asked how everything was going! Great experience! Would give more stars if possible!
