The staff is always friendly to me. Because their location is so small, you may have to wait longer than you may like to when picking up your cake. They made my wedding cake and everyone was crazy about it. These cakes are def affordable comparing the "Instagram" famous cakes which are beautiful but over priced. Customer Service Rating: cakes speak for themselves and are the main reason I keep coming back but their customer service is going to have me go elsewhere. This is the third time I come to pick up a cake order and either it's not ready, they can't locate the item, or they altogether dropped the ball. I was very excited to purchase a custom cake from this place for a graduation party and ordered a chocolate filling cake and received a crema filing cake. Since I showed a specific picture of a cake I previously saw on Pinterest there was several things I wanted to remove from the cake. My sister got her cake here and they really understood the design and the colors that we wanted. I was scared at the beginning when she first ordered because we wanted pastel colors and I kept looking pictures of their cakes and they were mostly made in bright colors. The staff was so friendly and the order was on time when I picked it up. It was pretty and tasty. I would come back and have more cakes from there for future special occasions. To start off, I was referred by a friend to check this place out because he had many cakes from here for different occasions. He told me to check out their Instagram which I did and I was excited by the looks of all the cakes so I figured, why not! Stopped by on a Thursday and a lady name Jackie or Jacqueline helped me. She was very knowledgable about the cakes, pricing, designs, and weight of the cakes. She obviously knows what she was doing. I ordered a 1/2 pound which looked huge to me already and it was a reasonable price. Picked up my cake on Sunday with a courtesy call from them which is very nice of them to do knowing they close early on Sunday's. I ordered 1/2 pound vanilla cream cake for my nephew in a design of paw patrol (his favorite show) and it looked AMAZING! So pleased by the creativity and talent they have. My family and I were a fan of Betel, but their customer service and poor design in cakes has left us no choice, but to take our business somewhere else. We have experienced all sorts of issues. Misspelled names, wrong cake filling, and poorly designed cakes. It is extremely disappointing when you are paying for a service, and you provide all the cake details in advance! How do you fix a misspelled name on a cake the day of the event? Ugh. And good luck trying to get someone's undivided attention. So my fiancee and I wanted a Bubble Guppies cake for our Son's 1st Birthday. We went around to a few places around the neighborhood to get a few different price quotes for what we were looking for. We went to Bizcocho De Colores and they were charging $580 and we were both in shock, we then went to SugarBoy Bakery and they were charging $530 we both still felt that was too much especially for a 2-3 lbs cake. We stopped by Betel and Ylvania saw what we had in mind. She told me she could do it fro $230 which we both agreed was an incredible price compared to the other price quotes we got. She started to sketch something out and told us what they could do. She told us she couldn't do exactly what we wanted which at first alarmed and worried us but she promised we would fall in love with the cake. So we went ahead and swiped the card. We definitely took the advice of many others and asked for the cake to be ready a day in advance just in case but it worked out just fine. As you guys can see the cake turned out amazing. Honestly Ylvania I want to thank you so much, you really exceeded my expectations with this cake and it made my son's first birthday even that much more special. Everyone was so impressed with the cake and on top of it not only looking beautiful, it tasted just as amazing. We got caramelo and crema de leche as the filling. Their cakes are moist and they aren't cheap with the filling. They stay tasting fresh for a few days and the frosting unlike other Dominican Bakeries stays soft and doesn't get all hard and nasty.
