BEWARE contacted my insurance for roadside assistance and…read morespecifically asked for a battery jump. Guy came right away, hooked something up to my battery and under a minute told me it was completely drained and needed a new battery. (2023 Honda Accord BTW) told him it's brand new so it should be covered under warranty - he quickly said "oh no it is maintenance so it won't be covered" I then told him I want to keep the battery and quickly "oh no, don't keep the battery". he seemed in a rush and told me he could replace the battery for $300, as soon as I went inside to talk to my husband, he magically is back outside already unplugging my battery and must have a battery just minutes away at his "shop". I told him no, kind of haggled me about it and I said no again. I ended up calling my dad to to try and jump it and of course, it runs just fine. Called the insurance company and they also noted they are not supposed to do uncontracted work and should do through the insurance because they have contracted pricing.
