[[HIGHLIGHT]]The technicians, Andreas & Cody, called me 50 minutes before arrival, right arrived pretty close to the promised time.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I knew there was construction down the street so I figured they would be delayed due to stopped traffic. The two arrived in a well-marked truck and was immediately professional. They took time to explain the negative pressure vacuum system they use, which involved hooking up a large hose to the main duct trunk near the furnace. They wore boot covers inside the house, which I appreciated. The cleaning itself involved systematically sealing off all registers and then using powerful air whips into each vent to agitate and loosen all the debris. They showed me the incredible amount of dirt, dust, and junk they removed from the main trunk--it was genuinely shocking and visually compelling. When finished with the vents they took on the dryer. The lint cleaned out of the vent and the filter was surprising. I expect the drying cycles will be quicker with a clean system. The entire process took approximately 5 hours. Once finished, they sealed up the access holes they created cleanly. There were only two rooms where they forgot to move furniture back in place. The immediate difference was significant: the air in the house feels fresher and less "stuffy," and the HVAC system runs noticeably quieter. I am confident that the removal of years of dust and allergens will benefit our household, especially during allergy season. Better Air Northwest delivered exactly what they promised: professional service, clear communication, and excellent results. I looked around and did my research on who to hire to clean my air ducts as I've gotten burned in the past. I have to say, I've hire lots of people from electricians to plumbers to carpenters. Never had I had such a pleasant experience as with Blake and Jordan. Absolutely some of the most professional, prompt, thorough and honest workers I've ever come across. The way they communicated and worked together with positive attitudes was beyond impressive. Start to finish I couldn't be more pleased. Their sweatshirts said it all. "Best air duct cleaners in the world" that's a bold slogan and high hopes to have your employees live up to. But I'd bet my money it's actually true. They had state of the art equipment and managed to do my older house which had some goofy duct work and required some getting creative.
