I really want to love Better Buzz because it's a drive through alternative to Starbucks, but unfortunately I don't. The quality of their coffee is good and much better than Starbucks and even Coffee Bean, but the drinks are just way too sweet. I've ordered half sweet and it's still way too syrupy sweet. It's also very pricey for a chain coffee spot. I wouldn't mind paying more for a better quality drink, but I just can't justify it here. read more

This Better Buzz location is the best coffee place in all of Orange County! I've tried numerous kinds of their drinks such as the Best Drink Ever, Hazelnut Divinity, Caramel Buzz, and Prickly in Pink Mojito- the one thing they have in common...ALL DELICIOUS. The customer service atmosphere is always top tier when I visit, and all the employees and managers work hard to ensure good and fast service. The food is also spectacular with options ranging from Açaí Bowls to Avocado Toast. My personal favorite is their array of sandwiches that include vegetarian and gluten-free options. The pastries are also super yummy and there is even a vegan cookie and gluten free donut!! Overall, Better Buzz Fullerton has been a terrific experience everytime I go, and from the inclusiveness and variety of their items to the spectacular service, it's hard to go anywhere else!! Finally! A Better Buzz in North OC! My wife and I have been wanting to come here the past few weeks and finally did. I had the orange matcha latte and seasonal ube matcha latte and both were delicious. My wife had the snicker doodle latte that I took a sip of and it hit all the taste buds. This place is ultra busy. I never heard of it before until I did some research on it and found out that this is a popular chain mostly located in San Diego. After seeing all the hype I had to give it a try. There's a drive thru and sit in but I went with sit in. It was a fairly long line but the wait was not long because they were really efficient with taking our orders. They had the system down so I appreciated that. I got a chili crisp breakfast wrap and ube cream cold brew while my bf got an Americano and a bacon ciabatta. We got our food pretty quickly and my drink came out not long afterwards. My bf on the other hand had a long wait because they forgot his drink. Despite that though they apologized and proceeded to make it quickly. We gave them some slack since it was ultra busy handling both drive thru and in store orders. After finally getting to try the food and coffees, I concluded that the ube cream was delicious but I wouldn't say it was the best I've had. However it did fulfill my coffee needs. The chili crisp wrap was very yummy and fulfilling but I couldn't really taste much chili crisp. The bacon ciabatta was good according to my bf but the bread was dry. He had no complaints with the Americano. Overall I do think it's a better alternative than Starbucks but it's better to plan ahead if you want to try this place since it gets busy with only one location in OC so far. read more

We finally gave Better Buzz Fullerton a try after seeing them everywhere in San Diego. We tried Coconut Best Drink Ever and Coconut Matcha, pistachio croissant, and Better Breakfast sandwich. Let's just say they were not the best drinks ever! They were very basic and way overpriced food and drinks. Coconut coffee and Matcha tasted artificial. We ended up throwing away the coffee. The tiny breakfast sandwich in a togo box should be around $6, not $10. Small, average tasting croissant for $6. Service was also not impressive. Cashier did not know answer to simple questions like pricing. Better options are available at Paris Baguette or Tous les Jours. And if you want really good coffee try Da Vien. just opened down the street! they definitely planned for a busy first few days as the lines were crazy inside & out, but it seemed like there wasn't too bad of a wait time with the drive thru continually moving. i've been waiting to try this out since i always try to go to their SD locations! same quality & now in OC! love that they have a pretty decent sandwich/dessert selection & seasonal drinks. service was super quick & they were working hard behind the counter. Better Buzz has slowly became one of my daily coffee place before work. There are many coffee shops in Fullerton and Anaheim, but their coffee is more smooth and has a stronger aroma than some of the other places I've been to. Glad that Better Buzz finally made its way up to the North OC Area! I used to frequent their locations whenever I made trips down to the SD area. Overall this chain is relatively consistent, but also quite pricey. This is definitely the type of chain that you go to get yourself a treat. For me, their best drink on their menu is the dirty chai! I never liked any other establishment's chai, but this one takes the cake. Otherwise their seasonal drinks are quite tasty, but I'm still unsure if they're always worth the price. Download their app and sign up for their rewards program as they'll send occasional promotions. This location has only been open for less than a month, and as a result you can tell that they're still figuring things out. Despite only 3-5 people in line to order, it takes them almost 10 minutes to help a couple of parties. I think that it has to do with the majority of the interaction with the cashier being them trying to upsell you on your drink (every experience I've had with this chain in the past month they've asked me for every drink if I wanted to add cold foam, even when it wasn't necessarily appropriate). A few years ago, I would've said that this was one of my favorite coffee chains, however I feel like their value has gone down and the drinks aren't as "worth it" as they used to be. This is now a place that I'll easily stop by if I'm in a pinch or if I am craving a drink on the sweeter side as a treat but not one that I can see myself coming by each day. read more
