Awful experience today. Took my 2 daughters to grab some breakfast, when I picked up my order at the counter, I noticed my daughter's chocolate muffin was not there. I waited for a few minutes at the counter for someone to acknowledge me. No one did so, I spoke up and said, would it be possible to get my muffin? The woman behind the counter, the pretty one with auburn hair, was extremely rude in handing it to me. Whatever, we all have bad days. I went and sat down with my girls to enjoy my food. We didn't have napkins, so I went back over to get some and the dispenser was completely empty. So I turned to the woman again behind the counter and asked if I could get napkins, she went to back, got them and brought them out to load the dispenser. While passing me, she snidely said "and we never charged you for that muffin" to which I was shocked because I ordered it. And that's not my fault that your employee didn't ring it in. I stood there stunned, and she turned around and almost threw a stack of napkins at me to which I grabbed, and went back to enjoy the food with my kids. My daughter's breakfast wrap was cold in the middle, so we brought it home to microwave it. Zero stars. My coffee was good. Ambience is good, but the vibes are WAY off. There are lots of BETTER Buzz shops with much better attitudes and service. Also, I tipped 25%. So... You can take that chocolate muffin I owed you for out of the your tip and kiss my ass. I didn't spend 40+ $ on sub par finger food and coffee to be treated like crap by your employees this morning.... Will never be back after being embarrassed by the establishment. Have been having a consistently poor experience at this location. Food items come out either missing topping or with something drastically wrong. In the last month I have had avocado toast come with no sprouts a rotten lemon, a breakfast sandwich still frozen in the middle, and today I asked for my rewards number to be put in. I had already paid, so it was too late and was promised a receipt so I could scan in my rewards. After waiting 10 minutes for a bowl in the drive through, you guessed it, no receipt. This place is the bees knees! It's attractive outside and in(your belly)! Clean space, chill vibes, and the staff is energetic and friendly. Tons of specialty muffins including yummy gluten free options liken wine is lemon poppy chocolate macaroon and a paradise bar! I was TOTALLY planning on doing a photo shoot at the beach with the three I chose to bring back to my kiddos but I made that classical tourist mistake of trusting that my little buzzy bag would be safe in the sand while I dipped my toes in the water really quick. No sea rats in sight! However, a few waves at my feet and a blink of an eye and my muffins were all over the place! Well, they didn't seam to like the Apple Cinnamon Muffin because I found it in the sand with only a bite out of it. I dusted it off and gave it to a homeless man who was interested. The chocolate muffin (which was mine!) had been completely devoured. Oooh, guess what!? They didn't make it to the cinnamon roll before I chased them away! My kids weren't fans of the crispy crunchy outside of it. The only part they enjoyed was the "center puff". So, I'll say if you like the texture of a crispy croissant, then imagine it as a cinnamon roll with a little swirl of icing laced on top and you've got a winner. There are fun cookies for kids with sprinkles etc too. Oh, my holy G, I almost forgot about the buzz part! The Coffee!!! I was absolutely loving the crafted espresso options ready to order on the menu. All you need to worry about is what milk you want and voila! There is even a plethora of Teas & smoothies offered. I had such an incredible experience at Better Buzz Coffee, all thanks to Skyler! She was so friendly, attentive, and genuinely made my visit feel personal and warm. You can tell she loves what she does -- she greeted me with a smile, helped me pick the perfect drink, and made the whole vibe of the place even better. Speaking of drinks... the Hazelnut Divinity was exactly that -- divine! Smooth, perfectly balanced, and just the right touch of sweetness. Every sip was pure joy. Stopped by here for a coffee before hitting the beach. The location is convenient with a drive thru and parking lot in the back. Iced rose water latte: faint rose aftertaste without being to overpowering. Coffee is on the lighter end. Out of all the drinks we got, this was the less sweet. Mango Red Bull smoothie: Strong refreshing mango smoothie. The Red Bull blends well with the drink, but it's definitely the sweetest drink out of the bunch we got Mint Infused Iced Coffee: There is a fresh mint aroma and the heavy cream on top makes this a creamier iced coffee. Iced Honey latte: Strong honey taste but also making this drink on the sweeter side Overall, the drinks are exactly as described for the flavors you get. Their coffee blend is light on the palate. Ambiance: This feels like more of a grab and go place to me because there aren't many tables. The decor is cute for the pictures and there is a bathroom in the back of the store. This is by far my favorite place to start the morning. Not only is the coffee next level but the food is actually fresh and even though I can get stuck ordering my "usual" I've tried a few drinks based off the barista's suggestion and have never been disappointed. Im not a morning person and don't know how they do it but as a regular, Skylar has greeted me with a smile and a recommendation and it's always been great. Just came to this location for the first time, and I think it was the best Better Buzz location I have been to so far. I got the hazelnut divinity ice latte and it tasted the best I've ever had it, also the avocado toast was made to perfection. The bread was nice and toasty rather than soft and limp from other locations. The staff was also very welcoming and all smiles. read more

Heard so much Buzz about Better Buzz so I had to try it myself. This location was fairly small and had a few tables to sit at and one hour free parking for customers. They have a pretty condensed menu but we ordered the Best Drink Ever and Mint Infused Iced Coffee. The Best Drink Ever is water based so perfect for those who are lactose intolerant! I liked the Mint Infused Iced Coffee. I subbed the cream for oat milk but it was still a little creamy. The mint flavor was very subtle and not over whelming. When you buy a 12 pk signature blend, it comes with a free $5 gift card. Would be a nice place to stop by and get some work done. read more

Wanted a nice spot to work from on a Friday afternoon so checked out the rooftop at this Better Buzz, which has an amazing view of Pacific Beach! In the afternoon time, though, there are only two tables that really get shade, so keep that in mind if you are working or plan to be at this location for a while. I ordered the hot orange matcha latte from a cashier who never smiled once during our interaction, which did not leave me feeling very good. The latte, though it had a good flavor, was freezing cold. We'd head over here each morning from our airbnb for my iced latte and we loved how dog friendly this place is. Our Labrador Theo came to love going to coffee as he was always greeted warmly and was excited to get his pupacino. Normally he is walking in the open space of our area and not in an urban environment, but Better Buzz made him happy to be there. And I was happy because I love their coffee and acai bowls. I've never in my life have had to leave a bad review on character alone. I really hope you see this or management the attitude needs to be checked.
