Avocado Toast + Eggs + Pesto
    Dexter B.

Customer service is a 5 from the moment we walked in to ordering to leaving. So polite and very welcoming, [[HIGHLIGHT]]the place is small so it has limited seating with a couple tables out front.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Parking is available in the back or side street right in front of the cafe. Ordered the Cliffs Breakfast Sandwhich and the Avocado Toast, both were very filling and delicious. The avocado and toast for $9.25 was a bit much for me and adding the egg and pesto for $5-6 more didn't help much either. It was very good though, but probably order something different given what you get. Uploaded the menu prices for a more up to date one.

I'm so glad I finally checked this spot out. [[HIGHLIGHT]]First off, it's absolutely adorable inside. I loved all the Easter decor.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] And secondly, the staff was so friendly and lovely to be around. I'm typically not a huge breakfast person, but this breakfast burrito was FANTASTIC. Like, sooo good. Can't wait to come back and try more off the menu.

Café latte with sprinkled cinnamon. Coffee was strong just the way I like it.

The service, food and coffee was great. I had the Cliff sandwich with a croissant and it was delicious. I really appreciate the prices at this establishment. Several places are charging an arm and a leg for mediocre food these days. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This place stays busy as it should with Natalia's great service![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Green Eggs and Ham Bagel Breakfast

Even though there are many breakfast and brunch spots to choose from in San Diego, I always circle back here because I know the food never misses. Dropped by again recently during a day trip and tried the Green Eggs and Ham on an everything bagel. Sensational. Loved every bite of it. In addition to the great food, the service is always impeccable. No matter how busy it is, and believe me this place can get pretty damn busy, they always get the food out in less than ten minutes. Cliffs is a cool place to drop by when in SD and you are looking for something good to have for breakfast. I promise that it will not disappoint.

    Breakfast Burrito 2.0 (Half)

This review is solely based on the breakfast burrito alone. The one word I have for it - BOMB. The café itself is so cute. Really great ambiance and very nice and cozy. They had so many coffee and smoothie options. Looking forward to grabbing a drink the next time I come back here. I ordered the breakfast burrito 2.0. This burrito was stacked. (Scrambled eggs, bacon, corn beef hash, sausage, onions, roasted potatoes, fire roasted chilies, and cheddar cheese.) Tasted super meaty and the eggs and potatoes were cooked just right. Burritos come with salsa and sour cream upon request. My only complaint is that for such a stacked burrito, they only gave one small container of salsa. I recommend requesting an additional.

This is one of the cutest and chillest cafes I've visited in San Diego. It's pretty tiny, no more than 20 people can fit inside. There's a handful of tables outside for sitting as well. The staff was fast and bubbly which is always a plus. The drink menu was dope. The speciality drinks and blended drinks seemed complex and you can't go wrong with any option. It all seemed super thoughtful. There's also frapples, smoothies, and your regular drips and lattes if you want something a bit more simple. Large menu for food but the food was a bit better than average in my opinion. Wouldn't run back to get food here but wouldn't be opposed. Basically.. it didn't blow my mind. We went with the: Greek Omelet Breakfast which consist of feta, spinach, bell peppers, tomatoes and oregano. Served with your choice of fruit, potatoes or hashbrowns and toast. Cliff's Delight which cosist of scrambled eggs, sun dried tomato, avocado, fresh basil, and goat cheese on pita bread. The omlete was the better of the two. The sandwich didn't smack and wasn't really filling. But it tasted super fresh and light. The menu in general has a lot of healthy options. Smooth place with good vibes, solid food, even better drinks, and perfect for a early morning coffee run.

Great local spot in Ocean Beach. I had large order which I placed over the phone - Staff was friendly and my order was ready very quickly! Yummy food as well.

Holy smokes this place hit the spot! Started out with impeccable service food came out hot tasty and fresh. The breakfast burrito potato to meat to egg ratio was fantastic. The green goddess bagel came out on a fresh. Everything bagel absolutely tasty and [[HIGHLIGHT]]or outdoor seating perfect for a sunny day.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We will be coming back!!

The food!! The amazing staff! We had the oatmeal and pancake breakfast everything was great! You will not go wrong with anything you order! Coffee was also amazing! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place was so cute![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

    The Classic Acai Bowl
    Angel M.

We visited this location after running along the cliffs. There was a lot of options to choose from and we were there around 9 and there was limited seating. Fortunately there was enough space for 4. The menu has a lot of options and we went with omelet and acai bowl. The build your own omelette was helpful as I got to choose what I wanted and it was delicious. The acai bowl on the other hand was good but it was more watery than most acai bowls we've had. The water station has these really small cups that you can use more than once but a funny feeling as it is already wet. The decor gave the location a cafe vibe and the service was nice and helpful. Their register does seem a bit older there were some specific modifications that they could not do because the register system did not allow it. Overall we enjoyed our time.

Super fast service even though they were busy Food was fresh and well prepared. Tons of options for those who want healthy choices. And, the breakfast items were also plentiful

It's got the decor, chairs, and art to match. Jessica was our server and she was amazing! She gave us lots of suggestions on what to try and what is on the menu since it was my first time here. She recommended the bloody Mary flight so did grab that to try! We also ordered the biscuits and gravy to share and orange juice. The portions are so large! So I am glad we decided to share the biscuits and gravy but let me run down each thing. Bloody Mary Flight: Honestly every single one was amazing. My favorite was definitely the pickle Mary! Everything tasted so delicious and was garnished beautifully. Well worth the 22 dollars. Biscuits and Gravy: Absolute perfection of comfort food. The biscuits were so fluffy and well seasoned. The gravy was also soooo good, just like my mom makes. The sausage in it was also cooked so well and juicy. I've never tried mashed potatoes with the biscuits and gravy but it worked very well! Orange Juice: Not a fan really, not pulpy enough and I wasn't a fan of the flavor. Overall this is definitely a must visit! I will definitely be back.

The food was amazing! In particular, I enjoyed the fried chicken and waffle tower and their roasted chicken hash. I was surprised they didn't include a side of butter along with their biscuits, but I'll probably just ask for it next time. One important thing to note is that their dishes are HUGE. All 6 of us had our own dishes, but I would highly highly recommend ordering a couple dishes and sharing it family style if you're dining with a group. One note I did have about Hash House is how overstimulating the menu is lol. The menu had a lot of clashing fonts, colors, and clip art images, it made it hard to digest the menu. I didn't even notice some menu offerings because of how busy the menu was. Also, our waitress did initially charge us for 6 coffees, even though we only had 3. It was a good thing we caught that error on the receipt before paying. Overall, the food at Hash House is definitely worth coming back for.

From what I could tell, there was only the bartender, one server, and possibly the manager working the floor. There may have been another employee, but regardless, they handled the rush incredibly well. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and kept things moving despite being clearly understaffed. The place itself is super cute and has a really fun atmosphere. There are TVs everywhere, making it a great spot to catch a game, and they have a nice craft beer selection. What I ordered: * Chimichurri Sliders ($16) - One of their specials. You get two sliders with no fries, so I'm not sure how much of a "special" it really is. They were decent, but nothing memorable or worth going out of your way for. Overall, I'd definitely come back to grab a beer and watch a game because the vibe is great. Food-wise, though, I found it pretty mediocre for the price. Burgers are around $25 with fries, and the appetizers (or "bites") range from $18-$25.. I was still hungry after the sliders and wanted to order a side of fries, but they don't list sides or prices on the menu, so you have no idea what anything costs. I ended up passing because they only offer steak fries, which just aren't my favorite. One big bonus is that they're dog-friendly, which I always appreciate. If you're looking for a fun place to watch sports, enjoy a beer, and hang out with friends, I'd definitely recommend it. Just don't come expecting the food to be the highlight.

They have protein pancakes that are low calorie and gluten-free. And, they taste pretty good. Not as good as their regular pancakes, but, good enough to satisfy my pancake craving. And, the portion is so huge that I take most of it home and have the pancakes for breakfast the next several days. Enough about the pancakes. Let's talk about the service, which is what compelled me to write this review. A few months ago I sat down and my server, Erick, came up to my table and said, "Protein pancakes and decaf?" I was blown away! He remembered me and my order. I am not that regular a guest. He is just that amazing. And, it doesn't stop there. A few minutes after delivering my food, he brought a to-go box, because he knew I always take most of my meal with me, and I'm always in a hurry. That's not great service - that's extraordinary service! At one to two times a month, Erick makes me feel like a 5 day a week regular. I wish I could give Breakfast Republic 14 stars; 5 for having protein pancakes, 4 for their taste and 5 for the extraordinary service.
