Had breakfast here at the suggestion of a friend and glad I did! The avocado toast was made to my order! I did season with lemon pepper which added another flavor! Will be back for lunch next! It's family own and operated and they are friendly and welcoming! Parking on the street is free and a lot behind the building too! It's beach life charming with indoor and outdoor seating. Dog friendly!

A cute, cafe for brunch and lunch! The food is good and we come often but it's nothing crazy. Their matcha and coffees are really good! Service is great, Andrea is always so nice and helpful:) food can take a while sometimes

Customer service is a 5 from the moment we walked in to ordering to leaving. So polite and very welcoming, the place is small so it has limited seating with a couple tables out front. Parking is available in the back or side street right in front of the cafe. Ordered the Cliffs Breakfast Sandwhich and the Avocado Toast, both were very filling and delicious. The avocado and toast for $9.25 was a bit much for me and adding the egg and pesto for $5-6 more didn't help much either. It was very good though, but probably order something different given what you get. Uploaded the menu prices for a more up to date one.

I'm so glad I finally checked this spot out. First off, it's absolutely adorable inside. I loved all the Easter decor. And secondly, the staff was so friendly and lovely to be around. I'm typically not a huge breakfast person, but this breakfast burrito was FANTASTIC. Like, sooo good. Can't wait to come back and try more off the menu.

Café latte with sprinkled cinnamon. Coffee was strong just the way I like it.

The service, food and coffee was great. I had the Cliff sandwich with a croissant and it was delicious. I really appreciate the prices at this establishment. Several places are charging an arm and a leg for mediocre food these days. This place stays busy as it should with Natalia's great service!

Even though there are many breakfast and brunch spots to choose from in San Diego, I always circle back here because I know the food never misses. Dropped by again recently during a day trip and tried the Green Eggs and Ham on an everything bagel. Sensational. Loved every bite of it. In addition to the great food, the service is always impeccable. No matter how busy it is, and believe me this place can get pretty damn busy, they always get the food out in less than ten minutes. Cliffs is a cool place to drop by when in SD and you are looking for something good to have for breakfast. I promise that it will not disappoint.

    Breakfast Burrito 2.0 (Half)

This review is solely based on the breakfast burrito alone. The one word I have for it - BOMB. The café itself is so cute. Really great ambiance and very nice and cozy. They had so many coffee and smoothie options. Looking forward to grabbing a drink the next time I come back here. I ordered the breakfast burrito 2.0. This burrito was stacked. (Scrambled eggs, bacon, corn beef hash, sausage, onions, roasted potatoes, fire roasted chilies, and cheddar cheese.) Tasted super meaty and the eggs and potatoes were cooked just right. Burritos come with salsa and sour cream upon request. My only complaint is that for such a stacked burrito, they only gave one small container of salsa. I recommend requesting an additional.

This is one of the cutest and chillest cafes I've visited in San Diego. It's pretty tiny, no more than 20 people can fit inside. There's a handful of tables outside for sitting as well. The staff was fast and bubbly which is always a plus. The drink menu was dope. The speciality drinks and blended drinks seemed complex and you can't go wrong with any option. It all seemed super thoughtful. There's also frapples, smoothies, and your regular drips and lattes if you want something a bit more simple. Large menu for food but the food was a bit better than average in my opinion. Wouldn't run back to get food here but wouldn't be opposed. Basically.. it didn't blow my mind. We went with the: Greek Omelet Breakfast which consist of feta, spinach, bell peppers, tomatoes and oregano. Served with your choice of fruit, potatoes or hashbrowns and toast. Cliff's Delight which cosist of scrambled eggs, sun dried tomato, avocado, fresh basil, and goat cheese on pita bread. The omlete was the better of the two. The sandwich didn't smack and wasn't really filling. But it tasted super fresh and light. The menu in general has a lot of healthy options. Smooth place with good vibes, solid food, even better drinks, and perfect for a early morning coffee run.

Great local spot in Ocean Beach. I had large order which I placed over the phone - Staff was friendly and my order was ready very quickly! Yummy food as well.

I ordered a breakfast sandwich that had bacon, cheese, and an egg. I chose to have it served on their jalapeño cheese bagel. I also ordered some bagels to go, the onion, plain, and jalapeño cheddar. The onion one was really good with the jalapeño cheddar cream cheese. The plain one was great with the delicious churro cream cheese. The ambiance was nice, very clean and they had an open kitchen prep area for the bagels. This past Sunday, I decided to head over for a morning walk and finally stopped in again. The shop is pretty small with limited seating, so it's not really a place to hang out. It seems more like a grab-and-go coffee spot. There aren't many great coffee shop options in this part of Coronado, so I can definitely see why it's popular with both locals and tourists. I arrived just before the morning rush, so I was able to order and get my drink almost immediately. The cashier was super friendly and welcoming, which made for a great first impression. I also really appreciated that they offer a military discount--it's always nice to see businesses supporting the military community. I ordered a medium cold brew with coconut cold foam and asked for very light ice. I was so happy they actually listened! So many coffee shops still fill the cup with ice even when you ask for light ice, and I hate watered-down coffee. This one was perfect. The coconut cold foam was absolutely delicious and added just the right amount of sweetness to complement the bold flavor of the cold brew without overpowering it. I also love that they serve organic coffee. I'll definitely have to remember to stop by more often whenever I'm in Coronado in the mornings. Next time, I need to try one of their donuts too!

Let me start with that I've been a big supporter of Nomad Donuts since the fruition back on 30th street. I used to work with the owner Matt over a decade ago at The Active Network. I also know mistakes can happen and can easily roll with it. That is what makes today's situation extremely bizarre. I ordered a Black 'n Blue sandwich without onion rings, on a toasted rosemary bagel with a small black coffee. My coffee came out first with the wonderful employee with dark curly hair worn in two buns. She called out "Anda", (my name); and handed me my coffee. About 7 minutes later she walked up to me with my sandwich and handed me my sandwich and said, "Here you go, Anda." I said, "Thank you! Have a good day!" and left. I drove home, opened the box and realized it was not at all the sandwich I ordered. Disappointing but things happen. Since I found out with a previous order months ago I'm allergic to an ingredient in one of their sauces, I couldn't risk it. I called Nomad Donuts and spoke with a kind employee who told me my sandwich was waiting there and they accidentally gave me "Anna's" order. I told her I couldn't make it back there and requested a refund. She said no problem and I would receive the refund in a week and apologized again. I said, "No problem, I know mistakes happen and told her to have a good day." Less than three minutes later the supervisor called me back. I missed the call and returned her call immediately. This is where things got strange. She told me the previous employee I spoke with got things mixed up. She told me I TOOK the wrong sandwich. I corrected her and said, "I didn't take anything. I was handed my sandwich." She asked if it was the person that took my order. I said, "No. It was the lovely woman with the dark, curly hair in two buns." The supervisor said, "You're going to get your refund but know we have name mix-ups all of the time so you know for the future. I'm going to talk to all of the staff." I told her, "I told the last employee I understood mistakes happen and I wasn't upset just asking for the refund." The supervisor then said, "You must have misheard your name." I said, "I didn't mishear anything. She walked up to me, handed me my sandwich and said, 'Here you go, Anda.' I thanked her and told her to have a good day." I then explained to the supervisor that it's really strange she was calling me to blame me for their mistake. She said, "I'm not blaming you." I said, "You are. I didn't take anything and didn't mishear anything." She said, "I'm just letting you know for the future." This whole interaction was so bizarre. The supervisor took the time to call me back after I originally called to request a refund politely and kindly and understood mistakes happen. In the process she blamed me for the store's mistake. My questions are: Why did this supervisor even call me in the first place? To blame me for their mistake? To warn me this happens all the time with them to know for the future. An easy fix would be confirming the order with the name. Or was it to try and avoid giving me a refund when they were the ones that made the mistake? I wish I told the supervisor to watch their security footage as that would be proof the employee came up to me. Seems silly over a sandwich but the supervisor is the one who mishandled things. It's a bummer and shocking this is how things were handled. It is especially disappointing as I have been a customer since Day 1 and always knew of Matt to be really kind and hire top notch employees. am only writing this review as the situation has been bothering me since the call two hours ago and thought Matt should know. Unfortunately I will have to think twice about returning moving forward as this was extremely bizarre to me. Hopefully this supervisor was just having an off-day and it's not the norm.
