Absolutely crafted by the most skilled of witches I was obsessed with this potion. I want to try all of their drinks. The atmosphere is also fantastic, with a haunted mansion-esque aesthetic, and a little witchy shopping area. Burnt Umbers was started by a husband and wife couple, I met the husband and he was super nice, and the wife does graphic design, they both have wonderful artistic style which is a huge part of why this is the coolest witchy coffee shop probably on earth and with the best drinks.

I like this location more than others because of the bigger parking lot, more seating options (including an upstairs area and outdoor seating), and I've also received better service here compared to other locations. The place is simply decorated, and it honestly is a solid spot if you're looking to crank out some work or meet with colleagues/friends. It does get pretty crowded so it's better to get an early head start if you can, especially on the weekends. In terms of their drinks, my favorite is the blueberry lavender matcha latte. It's on the sweeter side and has a floral aftertaste, but the flavors mix really well together. I typically get their matcha drinks or teas because I'm not a fan of coffee, but my friends that are coffee fiends are fans of the various coffee drinks here. The location has plenty of parking and plenty of seating. There is an outdoor patio, and inside there is a first floor seating area, and a second floor seating area. The interior had high ceilings and modern practical decor. Staff will take your order at the cashier, but they also have a kiosk if you want to avoid human interaction. I was here for a few hours, so I started off with a hot beverage since I saw that they have mug service. I had the hot Churro Latte ($8.15/large) and I was warned it's a bit sweet so staff suggested that I get it less sweet. I appreciated the gesture but maybe that's why I didn't taste too much of the churro flavor. It tasted like a good regular latte but maybe they held back on the caramel and cinnamon to the point I couldn't detect it. Seating is first come first serve. It was actually really busy and difficult to find an ideal spot. Since I was alone I sat at a high top ledge, strategically near an outlet. From what I saw, they had a really good amount of outlets in the indoor seating area. Later on I went back and ordered an iced Blueberry Lavender Matcha with Cold Foam ($9.25/large) and a Deluxe Avocado Toast ($15) which comes with egg, bacon, and herb oil. I like that this location serves the avocado toast with a knife and fork cause it was much needed. It was a bit on the wet side. Maybe I should ask for light herb oil next time. For how much this avocado toast cost, I would have liked more avocado. The avocado was more of a spread, not whole slices of avocado. Still good, just an observation. The blueberry lavender matcha was okay. I could taste the lavender but it was overpowering the matcha and the blueberry was hard to detect at all. Honestly the location and plentiful seatings is what stood out most from this experience. I would consider coming back since I know their products are good from trying their other locations but I wouldn't get the drinks I ordered this time. For how expensive coming here was, I wish I was a little more satisfied.

There is a bathroom, oddly with a bidet. Located in an older strip mall with varied food offerings. Plenty or parking on a weekday midday. BEWARE: google maps takes you to an alley in back, so just go around the block to the other side. I see why this place was on a reel for top iced matchas in OC. Would recommend, and would like to come back to try the mango matcha latte or even just for this cherry matcha again!

I tied the Ca Phe Brûlée which comes with an egg custard topping. It was sweet and reminded me of egg coffee in Hanoi. So good. I also had a Ca Phe Sua Da which is a traditional iced coffee. I could drink this every day. Vibes: Plenty of places to sit; chill vibes. Parking : Lots of parking in the area (visited on a weekday, not sure how packed it is on the weekends.)
