Giving this one star because it was just a super bad impression for my first time visiting. Heard a lot of "buzz" about this place. Decided to try it this morning while getting donuts. Drove in and got in line at the drive thru. There were a total of 5 cars in line. Car behind me decides to pull around and go to the shorter line. They get served and the person just seemed to help one line leaving us to wait. Since I was last I gave it another 5 minutes and decided to back out. Bad first impression. read more

I stopped by today and tried the white mocha latte minus one shot and iced! It was fabulous. Not to oily not to strong and not to bitter! Very clean tasting. I thought I'd have to give up coffee but the Buzz is perfect for me! Try it... the service is quick and very friendly and they have wraps and other things as well. read more

I thought the price was too over the top. I had gluten-free toast with avocado and the avocado was spread so thin it was a waste of time. And they added a whole lot of salt so it really was too salty to even eat. read more

Just went for the first time and really enjoyed the service and coffee! I've been a barista for 8 years, so I'm rather picky with my coffee. I ordered the mint infused iced coffee and loved it! Shots didn't taste burnt but still had a strong coffee taste, the drink wasn't overly sweetened (like most places), amount of ice and cream was perfect, it was garnished with a fresh mint leaf. I didn't taste much mint, but still really enjoyed the drink. My husband loved his cinnamon cream cold brew. Drive-thru was busy but the line went quick. They had a lot of staff working inside - each employee we talked to was very friendly. Also loving their app to order ahead and track rewards points. We will definitely be back! So excited to have this option close to home! read more

They are severely understaffed and it takes so long to just get a cup of coffee: I'll pass till they get more staff, not worth the wait.

My grand daughter and I were out shopping. She told me she would treat me to a latte. She took me to better buzz. I had never had one. She ordered me a Chai tea latte. I don't have words to describe how amazing it was. It was a a pleasant place to visit. Personnel were all very friendly. Definitely will be back soon read more

OMG..my new favorite coffee place! Great experience, coffee is amazing, food is delicious..had and OG bowl and Avocado toast and no complaints, inside is relaxing, not to mention the staff are friendly and have AMAZING customer service. After our 1st visit to Better Buzz (3 of us), we saw that their competition is Starbucks. We had such a wonderful experience. We each tried the food and each got a different drink. After leaving we discussed the competition- definitely hands down Better Buzz is definitely the wise choice. The food was delicious and very appealing. We had the OG Açaí bowl & the better breakfast sandwiches. (Starbucks food shown on their menu is not what I experienced- unappealing and tasted fake) Better buzz food tasted amazing and looked exactly how pictured. Staff was friendly and energetic. I will definitely choose Better Buzz over the competition when I'm in Surprise (I don't live in Surprise). I can only hope that who ever owns this Better Buzz will consider opening a store in the 85028 area. Definitely would enjoy another one of those OG açaí bowls along with the prickly pear mojito energy drink or one of those coffee drinks. Way to go Better Buzz! 3 Happy Customers!!! read more

Switched it up from my usual to stop by and try their coffee. Asked for a recommendation from the worker taking my order and they suggested the Horchata Iced Latte and it has become one of my new favorites! Also got an acai bowl and it was super fresh. Did not like them at all. Spent almost $25 for trash. One of my drinks was the wrong order. My toast was ice cold and hard. The best drink ever coffee had powder chunks in it. Just awful all the way around. I never received a receipt. I have emailed them twice with no response. I even tried to dispute the charge on my card because of how bad everything was. My card company won't dispute it because I don't have a receipt and I did not go back in Person to "make a complaint". I waited in the drive thru line for over 40 minutes making myself late to work and was unable to make an in person complaint which is why I emailed the company. I will never be back here and my money was wasted. I'd really just like a refund so I can move on with my life. I don't know how anyone finds this place good. read more

This was my first time in, wanting to give it a chance but was disappointed. There was no coffee shop vibe at all, I couldn't study and everyone around me who was trying to work had left as well. The music was obnoxiously loud I couldn't talk on the phone, I swear the music got louder as the song would play. This place should've been a drive thru only coffee shop. As someone who works at a local coffee shop, we always make sure the quality of the product is perfect for customers. I received my Mango Strawberry BuzzZinger with a hair on top of one of the mango fruit pieces. I told one of the baristas there was a hair in my drink and she took it immediately with attitude without apologizing and starts making another drink for me. She then handed me a new drink and told me to have a good day, no apology about the hair whatsoever. There were 3 employees working and they seemed be busy so I was patient about it, I wished the barista approached me nicely about the hair. I use to live in San Diego and went to Better buzz all the time and it was amazing everytime. I get the best drink ever and avocado toast. It's always a great vibe! I now live in surprise and was soooo happy to see this location open. Unfortunately everytime I go, they mess up my drink and food. The baristas are also rude! I am a barista myself and holy moly I can't believe some of the girls were hired. I hyped this place up to the coffee shop I work for and my customers because of all my experiences in San Diego but this location gives a bad rep for the real deal in Cali, when this company is actually super amazing. Coffee was really good yet the food was terrible, I audibly shrieked when I tasted the sauce on the better breakfast sandwich. The sauce made the tastebuds on my tongue literally melt off, I couldn't even explain the foul flavors that were being intermittent into my mouth. As a surprise resident and a college student, I am so excited that Better Buzz has opened! It is a great hang-out spot to do homework, as there is great energy and an array of tables. I really enjoyed the acai bowl that I got! It was great quality and reminded me of the ones that I eat back in California. I just wanted to highlight an employee who was super attentive and kind! Addy Sandusky immediately greeted me when I got into the business and she knew so much about the menu. I have a gluten and dairy allergy and she had the information that was needed to make sure I was safe from my allergy. Can't wait to go back :) read more
