I usually go to the other big coffee store that used to be at this location a few months ago. We came out of convenience because we dropped our daughters off at art class two doors down. I'm not a coffee drinker, but my husband is. He wanted to try the coffee and I ate the toast. The service was delivered at an okay rate. There weren't too many people, but we still waited a bit and then received our food items at different times. The vibe was calm, very chill. I really should've written this review sooner because this location has been open for quite some time now. Having moved here from SD, I was beyond excited when I saw the signs come up announcing that Better Buzz was coming to town. I have very fond memories from going to the original PB location many years ago, then Fashion Valley Mall, Encinitas, etc. as the company took off. Every employee I've ever interacted with in Menifee has been super friendly and helpful, especially Melissa. Not only did she remember me and help me with my coffee needs on multiple visits, but she also made recommendations on an item to buy when I mentioned a personal project. I had to stop myself from holding up the line too long because I just wanted to keep chatting. My drink with various customizations was made perfectly. I appreciate the quality and consistency, along with the seasonal offerings that are always changing so that I can always try something new. The old Starbucks is now Better Buzz! I have tried all the native San diego locations of Better buzz and was so happy to see them moving their chain north to the Inland Empire. We stopped by while we were driving through Menifee and got a blended Chai (called a Buzzed chai) and it was delicious. Not overly caffeinated or strong but the perfect amount of strong. I usually get strong iced lattes so this was a change for me and I'm happy I tried it. It a definite must try when you're in the area. Great space indoor and outdoors. plenty of parking. Super open and bright on the inside, a bit loud so may not be the best for studying but nonetheless its close to the college and its a great space. Review update: Decided to give this place another chance and I would have to say they have redeemed themselves with my new favorite drink. Hazelnut Divinity with 50% sweet and oat milk The hazelnut flavor is perfectly nutty. The coffee is strong enough to keep me wired for hours. The service was good. Come with me to try Better Buzz cafe in Menifee. I wish they had some locations near me. I tried their new Blueberry Lavender Lemonade BuzZinger and it was perfectly sweet and refreshing. My parents also tried their brewed coffee and they loved it. Moving onto food, we tried their Pistachio Croissant, Almond Croissant, and their Ham and Cheese Croissant. The Ham and Cheese was my favorite! We also got their Berry Ricotta Toast and I absolutely loved the bread they used. Lastly, we tried their Better Breakfast Sandwich which was also delicious. The muffin warmed does take quite a while to recieve but the real issue was the false sense of hope matcha. Matcha was not blended and forgot to add cold foam to the white mocha and on top of that i still had to wait inside like 10 minutes for the drinks, i guess they forgot about my online order because i mentioned my order to one of the baristas, i kept seeing people come and go grabbing there drinks while still waiting for mine. Update: went in this morning and the niece cashier was able to remake my drink. I explained to her what happened and showed her a pic of my drink. I am a happy customer and will continue doing business with Better Buzz coffee! Went to better buzz yesterday and order a hot white chocolate mocha. It was cold so when I got to work I had to warm it up. Went today again and purchased another mocha,asked for it extra hot. I get to work and take a zip, it taste nothing like coffee. It tasted like steamed milk. I couldn't go back so I drank most of it then noticed all the powder at the bottom of the cup ‍ on my lunch tried to go back and notice a line of at least 15 people outside the shop. Called to try yo speak with a manger no answer. I payed $7 for steamed milk. I will not be wasting my hard earn money here again. Really wanted to suport another coffee shop other the Starbucks. I grew up in San Diego where better buzz first started so I'm happy it's closer to where I live now. They're beans are always amazing and I never had a bad drink in all my years with better buzz. The baristas here have always been nice to me even when you can tell they're having a bad day so props to them. I love the area this store is in with seating outside and inside. The only bad part of this review is the lack of outlets not sure if that was a planned thing to not have people stay long but there only like one outlet next to a seat. But usually I like sitting outside and reading anyways. read more
