Drove from Temecula (not that far) to try their mango sticky rice matcha drink and it did not disappoint! It's truly so good and their coconut cold foam is 100/10! It's like a dessert in a cup and not overly sweet either. Especially on a hot day - this is super refreshing. The service was really friendly and quick! I think one of the brothers/owner stepped out to hand us our drink and wanted to make sure we liked it. I thought that was a really sweet touch! Their Asian bbq chicken sandwich is also really good too! Being from the OC it's so hard to find a good banh mi so I'm glad they had this here. Sweet Daze has single handedly restored my faith in humanity with how warm and inviting the staff was! They've made me feel so welcomed. That goes a long way in a world where good customer service has become scarce. The bacon, egg & cheese croissant was the perfect breakfast on the go, that cereal donut was INSANELY delicious and not overwhelmingly sweet, the Vietnamese coffee was highly concentrated, bold but paired well with the milk and sweetener they used so it was enjoyable to drink. Keep in mind this is a smaller establishment, so I'd leave the double stroller in the car, this is meant to be a grab and go experience as there are no tables to sit down and dine in on but you receive your order fast. At first when I saw the name of the donut shop, it was quite catchy and I wanted to check it out. My hubby had a chiro appointment next door so went after to check it out. Went on a Monday after 11am. I was hoping for more donuts selection but there was quite a decent amount of options at that time. I got a vietnamese iced coffee,a banh mi sandwich, a bear claw, and a dozen donut holes. The gentleman that helped us was friendly, patient, helpful, and fast. I would definitely come back for the Vietnamese iced coffee and banh mi. I didnt expect them to have that available at a donut shop but glad they did because it did satisfied my craving. Storefront was colorful and clean. Donuts are decent but overpriced for what they are. Drinks were very sweet. Staff don't seem to work together, and some are friendlier than others. Cashier seemed bothered by the flow of customers and would not acknowledge the deals posted throughout the store. I witnessed two groups of people have to ask, and he seemed bothered to honor them. I absolutely love this place! If I have the time I always try to stop by on my way into school. They have amazing donuts and a ton of different breakfast and lunch foods. They also, in my opinion, have a better rewards system than any big name shop. The guy who services me every time I come in is amazing at his job, kind, and so professional. Early morning in Menifee, you're hungry, and you don't want McDonald's or Dunkin Donuts... and that's how I found Sweet Daze across the street from the two corporate offerings. The coffee here is surprisingly good, too. I needed a reliable place to fuel up for the few days that I worked at a polling station for the primaries, and this establishment helped in several important ways for the early start to long days. First, as noted, the coffee is good and fresh. Second, their breakfast sandwiches are especially noteworthy and for under $7. Finally, the donuts are fresh, and while not a vast selection, the ones I sampled were all very good, especially the blueberry glazed one. Of the two sandwiches for breakfast (they have lunch counterparts), I preferred the bagel to the croissant. I think it's how they heat up the food that made my croissant a little droopy compared to a straightforward plain one. They're more from the can in texture as opposed to French style butter pastries, but they taste fine. Went in on Saturday morning and picked up 1/2 a dozen donuts. In the glass they looked good but when I got home and I opened the box and it looked different. The donuts looked old and dry, no fluffiness and no flavor. Literally the equivalent of buying a donut that's sat out the entire day. $20 for a 1/2 dozen for some old dry donuts is not worth it in my opinion. I went in there and had forgotten my wallet and she helped me to figure out how to use my Venmo to pay! Great customer service Holly! I looked a hot mess when I went in there after a hike so I was impressed that she did not treat me differently especially when I said I forgot my wallet lol!
