Food is great, service is better, vibe is the best. I love Betty's and don't go nearly enough. I should definitely go more. So should you.

Wow. And I mean that wow. We were blown away. Betty's lived up to the hype! We came here for brunch on a Saturday morning and got seated pretty quickly for 2 without a reservation. We got 2 blood Mary's which were top notch. Better than most brunch spots, you can tell they have perfected their bloody recipe! John K who I believe is also the bartender was our waiter and let me tell you, he is GOOD. We were very impressed with him. He's whipping up the most delicious drinks, keeping your coffee hot and topped off, and at your service with a very friendly and welcoming aura. We love him! The ambiance is lovely, very warm and cozy. And the food was A+. I finished my entire quesadilla and Matt finished his entire plate. We are definitely going to be returning here!

This is my favorite local breaksfast spot in buffalo! I ordered the quiche from the brunch menu and it was gone in a couple minutes. On Sunday mornings when it's super busy, we try to sit at the bar. John is an amazing bartender. He's super friendly and is always checking up on us as well as everyone around us. All of the staff are super friendly too. This place gets busy really fast! We try to get there as soon as it opens on the weekends.

In this morning for breakfast. Absolutely fantastic. My classic breakfast was made to serve in less than five minutes. Excellent preparation, portions & presentation. Soft music in the background and natural sunlight. John was a great server too! Thank you as always for a great meal.

I thought the food scene in Buffalo was all about the wings, but my trip to Betty's proved otherwise. I stopped by for brunch with my girlfriend. Since it was crowded, we took two empty seats at the bar. I was going to order breakfast food, but when I saw a meatloaf sandwich on the menu I couldn't resist ordering it. The meatloaf had BBQ sauce on it and the bread was a toasted rye. It was by far the best meatloaf sandwich I've ever tasted! The meatloaf was cooked perfectly. My girlfriend ordered the Cuban sandwich. It wasn't a pressed sandwich, so my first thought was that I made the better choice. But then I had a couple bites of her sandwich and was blown away yet again. It had the perfect ratios of all the meats and the toasted bread was better than the usual cuban sandwich bread. It may have been the best cuban sandwich I've tasted. Both sandwich choices were huge hits with our palates. The macaroni salad she got with her cuban was much better than my standard home fries. If I lived in Buffalo I'd be a regular at Betty's/

Brian was AWESOME this past weekend! He was friendly and gave amazing service! Our food was so so yummy (veggie burrito for me and French toast casserole for my companion). Bloody Mary and Mimosas were equally delish! So glad we came in for brunch!

This is a busy little restaurant but we only waited about 10 minutes for a table. The food was all very good and the Souvlaki was delicious. The salad was made with a spring mix and even though I would have preferred romaine, it was fresh. The pickled onions, tomatoes and feta topped it off nicely. The service and staff were the very best part. Coffee was topped off regularly and multiple staff checked in on us the perfect amount of times so as to be attentive but not so much to be a bother. We will go back.

We came to Buffalo from Charlotte to see the Bills. Betty's was a recommendation from a friend in Buffalo. Let me tell you, the food and service were absolutely AMAZING!!! Give Betty's a try, you won't be disappointed!!

Okay I loved this place!! It was a cute house set up with lots of seating inside and outside. The workers were super kind and caring. The food was so good. I love how the menu is set up because there's not too many options to make you feel overwhelmed. The sausage links and the potatoes are a must have. Will definitely go here again!

The menu is similar to before: daily combo, soup, sandwiches, wraps, salads, desserts, etc. Same great crew and good service. Waited about 5 minutes in line then another 5-10 minutes for food. I ordered the tuna salad "veggie"... I meant to get the salad version but she asked if I wanted "regular", and not knowing what that was, I agreed. Turns out that was served in a thin pita. Still good! But the pita was so stuffed with delicious foods that it fell apart, so I enjoyed it as a salad anyway.

My steak frites plate had a very large serving of French fries and a bit more salad with a few pickled onions. I ordered my steak medium rare. About 1/2 of it was medium rare. The other 1/2 was well done. The seasoning was very nice, but disappointed to have well done steak. Our waitress was nicely attentive, as was her assistant who kept our water glasses filled. The restaurant was quite busy, getting busier as we enjoyed our dinners. I am glad we had an early reservation. I might have missed this note on the menu or website, but there is a credit card usage surcharge. Luckily some of our party had enough cash. The guitar music was lovely, but our table was too close and conversation was a little difficult.

This man got our back! The food is nothing short of amazing. My chicken and waffle made with oyster mushroom was perfection! Batter was thick but soft. Crunchy yet juicy. Fried but not oily. This dish is a walking contradiction but they walked this fine line and blew this dish out the water! Best chicken and waffles hands down. The drumsticks were the classic with sweet and tangy BBQ sauce with paper thin skin and fibrous underneath. At the end, there's a sugar cane for bone to chew out the sweet "marrow". Highly recommend. My wife loves nachos and theirs were a big hit with impossible meat. I was unfortunate not to have been able to sample it. Jalapeño cornbread? Yes please! I believe it's gluten free and it's just a hint of spicy that builds as you eat more and more of it! H bomb burrito was tasty as well but I did not eat it fresh to do it justice. **Catered Event: Board of Directors' Dinner**…read more Numerous locals recommended Bacchus Wine Bar & Restaurant as an excellent choice for formal occasions, and it proved to be a wonderful venue for our Board of Directors' dinner. I hosted a dinner for twenty (board members and their guests) and was especially impressed by the catering manager, who patiently guided me through the many decisions involved in planning the event and personally welcomed me on the evening of the dinner. The waitstaff were attentive and seemed to anticipate our needs, and the private dining room was both relaxing and quiet. We chose the "King's Table," which allowed all twenty guests to sit together around one large table. The room and table settings were beautiful, creating an elegant yet comfortable atmosphere. The event menu allowed me to select three salads, three entrées, and two desserts for our guests. Printed menus were placed at every setting, offering a gracious welcome and making the ordering process easy and efficient. I heard from many guests that their meals were excellent. I especially enjoyed the beet salad with goat cheese and the crème brûlée cheesecake. My filet mignon, unfortunately, was tougher than I had expected. The pecan-crusted salmon looked marvelous, and I found myself wishing I had chosen it instead. The pricing was also extremely reasonable for the quality of the setting, service, and overall experience. Each dinner was $85 and included a salad, entrée, and dessert. Bacchus provided a beautiful and memorable evening for our board, and I would gladly recommend it for a private dinner or formal gathering.

That focaccia was like no other focaccia I'd ever had but was delicious; crisp on the outside, soft on the inside. I couldn't eat the chimmichurri it came with as it has Thai basil (not usual in chimmichurri, but I'm allergic, and the server was very good about asking about allergies) but honestly, it didn't need it. That steak stood on its own. Both desserts were delicious, but to my surprise I think the pavlova was even better than the panna cotta (and I love panna cotta). The portions were very generous and I was pretty stuffed by the time I got home. Our portion of the bill was over $200 (hubs also had some cocktails and the steak alone was almost $90) but it was so good, we'll want to come back when we're in town for sure.
