Just a solid breakfast spot. There are a LOT of specials on the board. I opted for the corned beef hash with over medium eggs and homefries. The hash is more larger pieces of corned beef and the potatoes bigger squares, no issues there I just like a crust on them a bit. They have a ton of bread options, I mean a TON. I got rye (standard) but my friend got cornbread and it was "the best cornbread and you don't even need butter). The pancakes are huge and filled with fruit/chocolate chips/whatever you order them with. Sizeable portions. I will say with so many options if you aren't a go to savory or sweet person it could be challenging to order. The Scarlet Vetter says.....I decided to stop for breakfast on a Friday when I had an hour to kill in Hamburg, New York. Being alone, and because it was very busy, I decided not to take up a table and opted to sit at the bar. The spot I sat at was dirty, as it had just been vacated. It did take about 5 minutes for a server to acknowledge me, but when she did, she came right over and offered me coffee and a menu and quickly cleaned the area. Not the best cleaning job however, as bits of food were left in front of me, but she was very nice. The server came back very quickly, but I was not ready. Then it seemed like it took a long time for her to return, even though my menu was down. Again though, very friendly and I must say the place was very, very busy with people standing, waiting for tables. I ordered the Farmer's Daughter Omlette (to be made with egg whites instead of whole eggs) and a side of rye toast. I was offered hash browns, home fries or fruit and opted for the fruit. The Farmer's Daughter Omlette is made with fresh broccoli, zucchini, tomatoes, spinach, onions, peppers and creamy goat cheese. I also ordered a side of smoked Kielbasa. I asked for the tomatoes to be held on the Omlette as I hate off season tomatoes. While I waited, I finished my coffee. It took a long time to get someone's attention to ask for a refill. I was told that refills are not free but I was not sure if she was kidding or not as it was said with a smile. So I asked for a cappuccino instead, which she quickly made, and it was delicious! When my Omlette arrived it did not come with the side of smoked Kielbasa I had ordered. The server said she would quickly remedy that. The Omlette was stuffed full of perfectly cooked vegetables and the goat cheese was delicious and warm and melty. The Omlette did come without tomatoes! The smoked Kielbasa arrived it was also very good. The server then offered a coffee refill to the person next to me at the counter without talking about having to charge for it, so I guessED the comment about charging for refills was really a joke and to be sure I asked my server and she said of course refills are free! Joke was on me! I would recommend this place for sure. It is comfortable and very quaint. The table behind me ordered some sort of specialty stuffed French Toast, which they raved about. The menu selections looked really great. I just think the fact that it was MAD busy, was a challenge for the servers and I have to cut the place a break for that, as it was beyond their control as they looked properly and well staffed. Always an amazing experience here. It is so convenient to our home, I would love to be here each weekend. I've never tried lunch, always breakfast. They always have an amazing specials board which is posted on the walls inside the restaurant along with their regular menu. Last time I went, I ordered the farmers scramble. It had three different kinds of meat and was topped with two eggs and cheddar cheese. It was fab. It was my cousins first time there and she went with the French toast. She loved it! Between the extensive menu and all of the specials, I had a tough time narrowing down my selection(s) - everything sounded really, really good. After all, breakfast is my favorite meal! Good, solid breakfast food. Nice, clean facility. Specials are written on the wall and they have lots of daily specials. My wife really enjoyed her spinach feta omlette and it looked great with fresh ingredients. I had standard scrambled eggs, rye toast, bacon, hash browns. The standout was the homemade rye bread. Great texture. However, I was not happy with my hash browns. They were burnt and with a combination of hard and chewy. Should have went with the home fries but because hash browns are rare to find in this area, I had to try them. Overall, pleasant and comfortable location, somewhat high prices but better than average quality. Woodlawn Diner is still my go-to for breakfast, but Savory's is close behind. read more

The food is great! Plenty of original, exclusive creations available everyday, along with the classics. They make their own bread in a number of varieties. In the summer, they get quite a bit of their vegetables right from their own garden behind the restaurant....can't get any fresher than that! Wonderful staff! Most of the staff have been with Linda for many years. We have been patrons since she ran the restaurant in Eden years and years ago. Our out of town family always makes sure they eat here during their stay. It isn't one of the cheapest options, it can be a bit pricey, but for us, it is worth it.....in order to afford it, we just don't go as often, unfortunately. We walked in on a Wednesday around 9 am and the place was full. Very nice family and friendly restaurant. Everything in the menu looked awesome... We both had the Avocado Benedict with hash browns or cottage cheese, Wowwwwww it was delicious. The place is very clean, the service is outstanding and quick (ask for Yane) she is amazing! This female owned and run business will knock your socks off with their hospitality, menu options, portion size and flavor combinations. The specials are novelty versions of every breakfast item you can think of from sweet to savory. Specialty items like seasonal fruits, nuts, Nutella and cheesecake stuffing are commonly used items on this board for pancakes, waffles and French toast. Savory egg based specials feature ingredients such as premium cheeses, fresh veggies and upgraded meats like chorizo and corned beef. Now a lot of people don't realize that in addition to a ton of specials there is also a standard breakfast menu covers the classics like pancakes, waffles, French toast, breakfast meats, hash browns, egg dishes and more by including a ton of scramble and omelette combos. Lunch options include salads, soups, burgers, wraps, melts and paninis. A tip for lunch first timers is that Savory's has won the Buffalo Soup fest multiple times so trying some is a must.
