Delicious food, ensure you have a palette for Mediterranean flavours. Portions are moderate. Nice ambience and friendly waitress. Some waitresses were of a cooler temperature. Grilled food was great and pasta was very flavourful. Delicious cocktails.

Mira was well worth the wait!! It is so beautiful inside, and we didn't know what to expect since we hadn't been inside since it was Panos. Our waitress was very attentive and helped us pick what to get between the two of us. We got the Ruby Slipper cocktail to split, which was good but a bit sour for our taste. As a starter we got the Suppli which was like an arancini ball but mozzarella cheese- so good! I got the spaghetti which was a lighter dish and the mix of zucchini in there was delicious. My fiancé loved the ricotta gnocchi. We split the waygu steak skewer which also was great. Zero complaints about our experience, we loved our first time at Mira and look forward to coming back!

Believe the hype!!! This place is every bit as good as everyone says it is. We had a 5 o'clock reservation and I appreciated how bright and welcoming the restaurant was. Many of the photos I see are darker and moody, so if you go early, you'll have a very warm and bright atmosphere. Our servers were helpful and encouraged us to order items and split them for the table. For three of us, we got two starters -- fried cheese (the BEST) and hummus with bread (also delicious!). For mains, we got two pasta dishes and octopus. Everything was delicious but not too heavy. For dessert, I got the olive oil cake, which was yummy. We also all ordered cocktails and had such a fun time chatting with the wait staff. Can't wait to go back!

Absolutely beautiful environment and delicious food! The service was absolutely perfect, amazing people, and so fast! The hummus was absolutely a 10/10 and the drinks.. delicious. I highly recommend this place for a fun, chic outing with friends!

Fantastic triple date night here this past Saturday! We had to make a reservation about a month and a half out, but well worth the wait. The ambience is moody, cozy, upscale - perfect for a date night. Our waiter guided us through the menu and recommended some great options. The menu is built a little different than normal, with one section of proteins that were smaller and on their own, a pasta section, and then larger entrees. We appreciated that our waiter explained it to us at the start! Our table started with some cocktails and wine. They make a great dirty martini (with feta stuffed olives, YUM). For appetizers we tried the Suppli, Daily Vegetable (fried sweet potato), and Crispy Octopus. I think my favorite was the Suppli, yet all of it was tasty. I had the Lamb Ribs. Melt in your mouth delicious. Had a little taste of the Lumache, Radiatori, and Hanger Steak. Tough to decide what was the best! Then we ended with dessert even though we were all pretty stuffed. Tiramisu, Basque Cheesecake, banana gelato, and chocolate gelato. And tried the I'm Working Late dessert cocktail as well. Do not skip dessert!!

Mira was worth the wait! The owners of this beautiful restaurant simply never disappoint, but they really outdid themselves here. The ambience is absolutely magical, warm, welcoming, buzzy, and beautiful! This is a perfect spot for a date night or special occasion. Favorite dishes/Recommendations: -THE LAMB RIBS! I don't even usually like lamb and these were a MUST! -The Spinach and Ricotta Tortellini -Mira's Signature Hummus -Sweet Potato (if it is the daily vegetable when you visit) -Any and all of the cocktails!! -Fried Halloumi in Brik -Tiramisu Dessert

Great service, came at 10:15. Food was excellent. Got their hummus, rack of lamb and lumache. Their pasta had a good amount of spiciness to it with the lamb being on top of delicious crunchy rice. Ambiance is great for dates, highly recommend

While I was at Mira, I forgot I moved to Buffalo for a second - it felt like I was back in the East Village. Attractive, dimly lit, vibey place with solid bites that I think I'll bring out-of-towners to. Prices reminded me of NYC too LOL The menu was pretty eclectic/pan-mediterranean. Table faves were the hummus and pita, the Pansotti squash-filled pasta with brown butter and truffle, Culurgiones - potato filled pasta with tomato sauce, the hanger steak and mushrooms from the grilled section of the menu, and for dessert, the tiramisu with malted milk mascarpone. There was a "Taste of Mira" experience where they decide what you eat, which I hope to try soon. I also enjoyed their cocktails. Got a lamb fat-washed bourbon based drink called Keen's Special. I've only ever had one other lamb fat-washed drink at Theodora, which is one of my favorite cocktails in NYC. Also had the Little Cosette, a vodka-based fig leaf and orange liqueur cocktail that was pretty crushable. Interestingly, the combo tasted more like grapefruit and I enjoyed that. I think Mira is now one of my favorite spots for cocktails in Buffalo too. Some small things that irked me but weren't deal breakers: we waited about 25 minutes for our table, even with a reservation; we didn't get serving utensils when it was family style; and it would've been nice if we got new plates between courses. Also, the Greek Salad on the menu isn't a traditional Greek salad with beets. It's a beet and feta salad with Greek salad vinaigrette (not bad just didn't expect it). Overall, I think Mira is a great addition to Buffalo's dining scene and I'm excited to try future menus.

I went to Mira with a group of six. The decor and lighting was beautiful. It was busy but not loud. The servers were very attentive. The drinks were tasty. We got the hanger steak skewers, the half chicken, the ricotta ravioli, the Lumache, the beef tartarte, the shrimp, the brick of feta, the Suppli, and gelato and Olive oil cake for dessert. We all shared our plates family style. We can't wait to go back again!

Me and the girlies were super excited that we finally got reservations to Mira. Word on the street was this new restaurant featured some of the best mediterranean food in the area. I was quite skeptical given I was a Panos regular, that served the same cuisine formerly at the same location. I'm not going to lie, I was intimadated by the menu prior to going. But that quickly went out the window, lol. First off, this place is gorgeous!! Pink and gold everywhere, with gold velvet booths!! Definetly a vibe !! The waitress was very down to earth and was well informed about the menu. She explained Mira had a small plate concept, they encourage to order a course from each section to share. I'm not going to lie, each dish was phenomenal!! No exaggeration!! And we were actually full afterwards. One friends ordered humus, I have never been a fan. However, that warm and fluffy naan with the perfectly blended humus ( i'm a texture girl) paired with the onions, spices, and oil !!! I was surprisingly pleased!! And my friends said don't sleep on that chicken thigh and i agree!! Beautifully grill chicken seasoned to the T, covered in onions and peppers laid tasty yougurt sauce. Honestly i could go on and about each dish we tried because it was just that good. Overall, I'd 100% recommend Mira, it is definetly worth the making the reservation. I would just say be open minded, ask questions as needed and get ready for an amazing culinary experiance. Great service, food comes out quickly and amazing great drink. It can get a little pricey but it is soooooooooooooooooo worth it !! I promise !!!

Smoked salmon sandwich and orange juice

I went here for brunch on a Saturday morning. No reservations are needed for brunch, you can just walk in and get in line to place your order at the counter. They give you an order number and you can go sit wherever you like, there are plenty of tables there so that's not an issue. The servers were really nice, my order arrived pretty quickly. I had ordered a smoked salmon sandwich and fresh squeezed orange juice; the sandwich was really good, although I felt that for the price point, portion size could've been bigger, since it doesn't come with any side of fries or fruit. But overall, Mira is a great spot in the city, and the location is pretty good too, you can just take a stroll around the elmwood ave afterwards.

Wow! This spot is the hardest reservation to get in town, but it's worth the wait. The food was spectacular, probably some of the best in Buffalo. The ambiance is fun and lively, yet moody and romantic. I would definitely come back.

Overall a good experience and would go back. Pass on the Greek Salad , but everything else was delicious. The tiramisu was a 10/10 and the Culurgiones was so unique - hand braided pasta stuffed with sweet potato. The hanger steak and chicken thigh were really flavorful and had a unique flavor. Nice ambiance. Our server was very detailed and observant as well.

**Catered Event: Board of Directors' Dinner**…read more Numerous locals recommended Bacchus Wine Bar & Restaurant as an excellent choice for formal occasions, and it proved to be a wonderful venue for our Board of Directors' dinner. I hosted a dinner for twenty (board members and their guests) and was especially impressed by the catering manager, who patiently guided me through the many decisions involved in planning the event and personally welcomed me on the evening of the dinner. The waitstaff were attentive and seemed to anticipate our needs, and the private dining room was both relaxing and quiet. We chose the "King's Table," which allowed all twenty guests to sit together around one large table. The room and table settings were beautiful, creating an elegant yet comfortable atmosphere. The event menu allowed me to select three salads, three entrées, and two desserts for our guests. Printed menus were placed at every setting, offering a gracious welcome and making the ordering process easy and efficient. I heard from many guests that their meals were excellent. I especially enjoyed the beet salad with goat cheese and the crème brûlée cheesecake. My filet mignon, unfortunately, was tougher than I had expected. The pecan-crusted salmon looked marvelous, and I found myself wishing I had chosen it instead. The pricing was also extremely reasonable for the quality of the setting, service, and overall experience. Each dinner was $85 and included a salad, entrée, and dessert. Bacchus provided a beautiful and memorable evening for our board, and I would gladly recommend it for a private dinner or formal gathering.

The Margherita focaccia was by far the worst of the night, soggy and flavorless, the focaccia was nothing like a normal one. The tuna had a nice presentation though it was quite mediocre, the rice was hard in some parts and seemed quite old, the tuna itself was fine but the dish as a whole was maybe on par with sushi you'd get at a wegmans. As my entrée I got the carrot papardella, everything seemed overcooked, hardly any lobster and what little was happened to be tough and rather flavorless, of course it was the same with the shrimp and crab. The pasta was overcooked and stuck to itself and the sauce was quite sweet and far too hot, twenty minutes into the meal and it was still steaming, continuing to turn the dish into mush. The meal was for three people and came out to be $240 after tax and tip, the service was nice but considering the praise this restaurant got I'm sure it's went downhill. We were in town attending a large national conference for families affected by their condition, and many conference attendees were also staying at the hotel. When we arrived, the restaurant appeared to be about 80% empty. Our children mentioned to the waitress that they were hungry and tired, and the first response we received was, "Do you have a reservation?" She explained that they couldn't seat us because they were expecting a large party. Instead of being seated at a regular table, we were directed to the bar area, where the bartender kindly took care of us despite the fact that our group included two minors. We stayed for over an hour, and during that time, the large party never arrived. Meanwhile, we watched other guests without reservations get seated at tables without any apparent issue. The experience left us feeling singled out and, ultimately, discriminated against. Whether that was the intention or not, it reflected a disappointing lack of empathy and inclusion--especially considering that so many families with children with disabilities were staying at the hotel for the conference. I'm giving Bella Ciao three stars because the food was decent, the portions were generous, and the bartender provided good service. Unfortunately, the way we were treated upon arrival overshadowed what could have been an enjoyable dining experience.
