Irvin is the man! I come here daily for my energy drink and am always met with such warmth. You can tell it's family owned. The other day my battery died. I live 2 blocks away so I walked over and told Irvin and he offered to drive me home and jump my car. Then I drove it to the shop and he charged it for an hour. I only paid for the charge. He said if it's dead in the morning to call him and he'd come back. And that's what he did. (Again no charge) He told me to take it to the dealer because the battery would definitely still be under warranty. The dealer said they couldn't get to my car till Tuesday. It was Saturday. Irvin suggested I take it and drop it off and not wait till Tuesday. I did and they were actually able to give me a new battery that day. If Irvin wasn't there to guide me I would have had a stressful experience. But that wasn't the case! Irvin was so kind and treated me like family. I've been going to this station for years to get gas, on this occasion I went in to have the air checked in my tires and was helped by Irvin who was super nice and helpful. I was advised my tires were in bad shape - which I had no idea, and needed to be replaced. I had them replaced a few days later and was very satisfied with the price and service and will highly recommend this station to family and friends. read more

I agree with all the other 5 star reviewers but am so grateful t have found this place that I'll chime in too! I have brought my Lexus in for service several times, and am always impressed by how nice, honest and personable these guys are. The first visit I made, to get my brakes done, they talked me out of spending the extra money to get front and rear done at the same time, they said I really didn't need it! Then, when the tire pressure light went off, they took the time to check all five tires (yes, in my car the pressure light will go off if even it's the spare in the trunk!) even though they where pretty busy. When the light didn't go off, they checked again the next day with the same degree of patience and niceness, and sadly told me I'd have to go to the dealer because of the technicality of the issue. They didn't charge me either time and where super courteous (and not condescending, me being a blonde and not being able to check my own tire pressure and all...) It is really really important for a single gal to have a repair shop that is not going to try to scam her at every term. Luv you guys! read more

5 stars for Irvin and his team!!! Well, first I had several questions regarding my car so I called the shop and Irvin was on the phone. If I could give him 10 stars I would because he was very patient answering all of my questions with details. I then stopped by the shop for a quick tire pressure check and Irvin took care of them in just a few minutes! Then, on the very same day, more like 10' after I left the shop, I got into a car accident which left my front fender completely destroyed. I was panicking as it was my first car accident so I called Irvin and he PICKED UP THE PHONE. He walked me through what to do and kept me calm throughout the entire situation. Long story short, I was able to drive my car back to this shop and got it taken care of by Irvin and his team. He said it would take about a week but I was able to get my car one day earlier than expected! So thank you so much for all of your services, Irvin! I was not sure who else was in your team but all of you really make the difference. I will definitely come back for my car maintenance! :) read more

Armen is the best! I have been going to Beverly 76 for over 10 years, and have recommended many of my friends here. I can't stress how great it is to have a mechanic that I trust. He has always given me top notch service at an amazing price. There have been times where I have asked him if something needed replacing, and he's told me that it's fine and can go another 10,000 miles. The service was great! I was about to hit the road for a 6 hour drive alone through the desert when my "low tire pressure" indicator came on. I searched on my smart phone for the closest full service gas station (I didn't want to take a chance filling the tires myself given the impending drive). I rolled into Beverly 76, they stopped what they were doing to fill the tires with air, didn't charge me (I tipped well), and were extremely courteous. The old man at the register here is an awful curmudgeon. Stay away from him. Worst experience in a mini-mart Ive ever had. Paid no attention to anything at all and then because I browsed around for a snack and put it back he accused me of theft. This was as I was paying him for a coffee and another snack. Began cursing at me and became aggressive. He's lucky Im a passive person. He should not be working in any capacity where he deals with people. read more

I cannot say enough good things about this shop. I was referred by a friend who has trusted Armen for years. I was actually surprised when I pulled up to a gas station - she'd never mentioned that it was a 76, so I just didn't know - and I felt a little awkward...until I talked to Harry. He listened to my whole saga and knew my friend by name. I went in for the brakes but was so thrilled with their customer service that I ended up leaving the car there for some body work (I'd been rear ended the week before and was planning to go to a different shop recommended by my insurance). Despite leaving my car there over mid-week Christmas, they consistently called me with updates and had it back to me before New Year's Eve. Armen worked with me on the price and even offered to secure me discounted rental from the Enterprise next door. I was beyond impressed with the shop (and took the guys some holiday cookies to show my appreciation). They've definitely made a loyal customer out of me. read more

They put very, very low end after market parts on my car. I had to take it back to them immediately as the problem was not fixed, and then they "re-fixed" it. Approximately $500 total. Parts have not lasted and I have been told by two other companies places that the parts are insanely low end and now I am paying for them again (control arms). read more

i've been here many times, mainly for gas or a tire fixed. but on those rare occasions when my car won't start - they're so close i'll have it towed over there. years ago they place was owned by another guy, jay, and they were top notch. current crew's ok when it comes to repairs. this week was the first time they weren't able to help me. car wouldn't start so had it towed there & they called me kinda puzzled they weren't sure the problem was. something was wrong with the carb & choke and they'd fix it & also sold me on an oil change, was going to be $300+. OK'd it. then they called and said they couldn't really fix the carb & they were going to charge me $100 something and suggest a carb shop. i got there & the car was running & asked for just $65 & suggested i spend the "savings" on the carb. least they're honest. read more

I have been a customer of the owner, Armen, since the late '90s when he was running a different shop. He's the greatest, and now at Beverly '76 he's got the best team. The service I have received has been nothing short of outstanding. My thing is cheap Japanese sports cars, I've had three of them in Los Angeles, and Armen and the guys have kept mine in outstanding condition for nearly 20 years-- they are like a pit crew. During the good years, I did a few of the most basic performance mods-- just new struts or better tires-- and during the tough years, Armen found a way to SAFELY address VERY expensive issues without spending lots of money (e.g., broken heater, rare part I couldn't afford) and found workarounds for exasperating intermittent problems (car shut off randomly after starting, ran perfectly in all other respects, fixed 7 years ago and no problems since.) These guys will learn all the idiosyncrasies of your vehicle and make sure it gets dealt with; if something can be put off, they'll tell you how long and/or under what circumstances. (I totally agree w/ Gen. A about being able to plan work ahead of time, and I also would not go anywhere else.) He's also got a body shop, and has completely restored one of my vehicles. Also just an all-around great guy; I've learned a LOT about cars since I started coming to Armen's (though never as much as I think I know) and businesses like this are the glue that holds this city together, IMHO. If I could give the service station a negative amount of stars, I would. They make you think they are honest when they are the most dishonest place I have ever been to. They worked on my car without giving me an estimate and charged me 58.99 for an OIL CHANGE. Are you kidding me????? That is ridiculous. Unheard of. Then, they were going to charge me the cost of 4 new brake pads when all they were going to give me is two. Who knows if they would have even put in the quality factory made brake pads. I DO NOT trust them. I told them that their prices seemed a bit high so I wanted to call my actual car guy in Orange County first. He tried to convince me that my car guy was probably a liar and unreliable. He proceeded to tell me that he is the most honest guy in the business and to prove it he said, "Let's call over to your guy pretend to be someone else to catch him in a lie about the cost of brake pads." Really? You are going to prove your honesty by being dishonest? Never again. read more
