Lost a pair of my favorite designer trousers that I brought for alteration. This item was a part of a bigger dry cleaning bill (with multiple other items). I had brought all my items into the store at the end of November a week before Thanksgiving. The missing item was not included with my other clothes that I also brought for dry cleaning when I picked everything up the next week (some other items also required alterations). Notably, none of the dry cleaned clothes had plastic covering on them (this was not the first time this has happened) and I had to carry out my clothes in a pile. Unfortunately with the holidays and work/life circumstances, I did not realize this item was missing until recently. I stopped by this week to ask if the trousers were still there. The lady running the business did a very cursory examination and blamed the missing item on me for not checking the total count of items earlier, even insisting she included this item in my original pickup in November. She did not even want to see a photo of the pants in question or listen to my description of the item. I blame myself for not keeping better count of what was dropped off and for not checking in earlier. I blame the business for allowing this situation to happen and for their response when I asked for a check of the store to locate the item. I was told that they were not responsible for items left over 3 months. I picked up my clothes on 11/25 and checked the store this week, which is within the 3 month window. My hope is the pants are truly lost and were not taken or sold by the business. They were a very expensive pair of designer trousers and it would be a shame if they weren't actually lost.... read more

DISGUSTING DISPAY OF RACISM!! Went in yesterday with my black friend to get a jacket dry cleaned. Woman working there asked my friend how long her braids took and if she washes her hair. Mind you, this was NOT a compliment. She was very inappropriate and when my friend suggested another cleaners the woman ripped up the ticket in front of my face and then proceeded to tell me she would cry clean for me if I came back alone. (I'm white) Most disgusting and uncomfortable interaction I've had in a very long time. All POC and advocates of anti-racism should avoid this dry cleaners. read more

Rita has cleaned many items for me without issue, meaning everything has always been perfect. In a few cases she pointed out spots that might not successfully be cleaned, managing expectations so I have never been disappointed. About a year ago I brought in a cashmere, Bottega Veneta coat to be cleaned and relined, and, shortly after, before buying and dropping off the lining she recommended (Italian silk of a certain hand), I became very sick, something I've been dealing with ever since. The simple kindness in the act of saving the coat for me and checking in to see what I'd like to do over the course of more than a year speaks volumes about the quality of the person running this business. One of the worst customer service experiences of my life -- the woman was rude and disrespectful almost immediately after I walked in the door. I was asking about their wedding dress preservation services and the woman was offended that I asked about their process and how they treat the dress. With the most important piece of clothing I've ever owned in my life, I will want to know what is happening to it. Instead of making me feel welcome and assured they would take care of the dress, the woman told me I "have no trust." As a first-time customer, you are correct. You need to earn my trust. Especially with my wedding dress. Thankfully, I walked out and found another fine company to preserve my dress instead. Please, please take your money and your business elsewhere. I called in to inquire about the price for wash and fold per pound and shirt dry cleaning. None of this information is listed on their website. The lady who picked up the phone quite rudely said I could only ask about one thing. I assumed this was just a joke that was awkwardly delivered so I laughed it off. I inquired about the wash and fold and it was $3.50 per pound. I proceed to ask about the price for dry cleaning a shirt and she snapped back saying I can only ask about one thing. Wow! I'm used to terrible customer service in this part of the world but nothing so nasty and self-sabotaging. I just said thank you and she hung up the phone. What a shockingly terrible experience. I don't understand why they wouldn't post the prices on their website anyways. Definitely will be taking my business elsewhere (there are many options in this area). read more

The lady is very nice, she can seems cold but she's not .. she's the rare person in Los Angeles whom knows her job and is real with you... love her . I've been a customer here for a few years (after trying just about every other spot in my neighborhood, just like everyone else...) and I can say that I wholeheartedly trust my clothes to Rita. She understands how to handle expensive pieces and does an excellent job removing stains and her pressing is perfect. She actually cares about doing a good job for her clients and if you are picky about your garments, you will immediately notice the difference. Prices are very reasonable too. I would honestly be inconsolable if I were forced to go somewhere else... As far as the comments on Rita being rude, you can kind of get the sense that those reviewers had it coming... Rita is one of the sweetest people I've ever met, and her story about how she came to this country and made a life for herself is inspiring (ask her sometime). She's been in the cleaning business for a long time, and doesn't have time to be jerked around by difficult/demanding clients. My wife and I live in Dallas. Our luggage and clothing was severely damaged by the Airline. We arrived 15 minutes before closing. Rita took all of my wife's clothing that could be laundered that evening and had it washed, folded and ready to go by 8am the next morning. Our dry cleaning was ready later that day, too. These are fantastic people and they do high quality work. There is plenty of parking too. Don't walk, run to this place! Thank you Rita! Rita is GREAT! She's excellent at multitasking. When she gets busy and still lets you know she's working on your stuff. I rarely stay more than 5 minutes. I am amazed at how well runs this place sometimes by herself! She always fights for me if something goes wrong which rarely happens. I really appreciate that. I also love that she appreciates ALL people. She treats everyone the same, whether you're rich or middle class, black or white, it doesn't matter. In a place like Beverly Hills where status can mean everything, she is RESPECTFUL of ALL people from every part of the word. This cleaner is located conveniently yet sadly they dont seem to clean clothes well. A few times I have ended up with spots on my white items that were not there before! Yes, seriously. These dry cleaners are absolutely no good. I had a beautiful 100% merino wool blanket made in Switzerland for Saks Fifth Avenue dry cleaned there, and it shrank so much it no longer can be tucked in on the sides. It is one of a pair, and I didn't have the other blanket cleaned, so there is no question of the amount of shrinkage. The texture seems different, too. Josephine W. read more
