I recently had a very unpleasant experience here, which is especially disappointing given that I've been a loyal customer for about three years. The way I was treated was completely unacceptable. I dropped off my boots to have the heel tips replaced, and my pickup was confirmed for Thursday. When I arrived, I was told the pickup was actually scheduled for Friday--even though my slip clearly stated Thursday. We then agreed the boots would be ready by Friday at noon, and I emphasized that I needed them no later than that. When I came on Friday at 4 PM, the boots still weren't there. The woman at the counter took my slip and began calling the shoe master. When I simply asked where my boots were, she raised her voice at me, saying she had no idea and insisting she never received them. The manager refused to speak to me at all. The man who confirmed the Friday pickup the day before ignored me as well. When I finally got his attention and asked why the boots weren't there as promised, his only response was that he tried calling the shoe repair person and they didn't answer. The entire experience was unprofessional, disrespectful, and extremely frustrating. I had gone to the first 3 places Yelp recommended. The 1st place had a homeless person blocking the entrance. The second location did not have a parking spot for the dry cleaner. All the spots were reserved for the smoke shop. There was parking under ground. I'm not doing underground . The last spot was a dry clearing with the parking that looked like a casino. My go to cleaners. I had a nice short red dress that had horrible grease stains all over the front due to food. They got all the stains out, and the dress looked brand new upon pick up. I also took my long beaded formal dress due to some stains and dirty bottom. They covered the beading so that the dress could be cleaned (extra charge). They were able to get all the stains out, and as a bonus, they were also able to almost completely remove the fabric fuzz that was on a patch of the dress. I trust them with my expensive dresses. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! I dropped off a duvet for dry cleaning. When I went to pick it up, they said they didn't have it and never had it. I made them review the camera footage, where you clearly see it being dropped off and not returned. Instead of paying me for the item, I was forced to fill out some silly claims form, file it with their insurance company, wait THREE months only to find out the insurance company was no longer working with them, and then finally have an attorney send a letter threatening to sue them before they finally paid me for it from a different insurance company.
