So I'm just saying but the first thing that bothered me was that they offered me water and the pedicurist came out with a full size water for herself and a mini Sponge Bob water for me. It seems like that should have been reversed since she already had a water bottle. They have 10 pedicure stations and 6 manicure stations. All look clean and tidy. They do not have enough people working here. If you come at a busy time, do an about face and walk out, you will never get done. They have three people who are pedicurist, female, and two male manicurists who do acrylic. The pedicurists are good. Get one and it will last a good month. Nails, acrylic, three weeks. Now this is not fact checked, but it appears the two male manicurists are brothers. They are constantly speaking back and force in their own language while working on clients instead of engaging the clients. Now this doesn't bother me because I'm not really interested in talking, but it might bother you. Do you like the Food Network? That's all that they show on the four big flat screen TV's. The experience started out ok and the salon appears to be well run with ample staff. It was my first visit and the technician Luka which I requested from a referral seemed knowledgeable about doing my nails and pedicure. Cleanliness was just ok and I was not impressed with the pedicure chairs that were very high off the floor with a narrow step in order to get up in the chair. The nail tech had to assist me to step down after the pedicure which I think could be a cause for safety concerns. The pedicure technique was run of the mill and when you spend extra money for callus care, the attention in that area was very minimal and a week later my heels seem to need another pedicure. I got gel polish on my natural nails and in less than a week, the polish is lifting from several nails as if I have tips which I don't . The polish is not chipping but lifting off my nails. That seems very unusual and perhaps not proper application. The price was a little expensive at $45 dollars for gel polish and $34 for marginal pedicure . I now have to go and pay to get my nails fixed and the gel polish should last at least two weeks. read more

I've gone to countless nail salons in Greensboro and rarely experience consistent quality service. I get acrylic nails with gel polish and like my pedicure color to match..EXACTLY!! Marleny does a phenomenal job and offers consistent quality work and excellent customer service. The interior of the salon is recently remodeled and is luxurious and inviting. The pedicure seats are bench and much more comfortable than other Salons. It's a multicultural salon so I love getting to practice my Spanish. I've been getting my nails done since 1994 and it's refreshing to find a salon that feels so inviting. It's a nice respite from our chaotic lives. read more

There are 2, maybe three, nail techs that are worth the trip in a pinch but if you aren't in an emergency, I would just wait for your regular spot to open up. Twice now I have gone here and the place has been empty and they claim to be "unable to take me." Despite being early afternoon during the week... AND THEY WERE EMPTY. Also, took my daughter here for her first kid mani and the tech never cleaned her nails or filed them. Every nail FELL OFF almost an hour after we left the shop. She was so disappointed. Beverly Hills Nails is absolutely GORGEOUS inside. The decor and vibe is totally relaxing. There is a little wine bar in the back corner and I have always been offered my choice of beverage, which is appreciated! I typically get a gel manicure, and 90% of the time I want the EXACT color, but non-gel, on my toes. I am not sure why at a few other nail salons I have frequented that this has become such a major issue. Sometimes I believe it is a communication snafu because many of the nail techs do not speak very good English, but sometimes I think they believe a close match is good enough - and I am NOT down with that. When I spend $65 - $75 including tip on a mani-pedi - I should get EXACTLY what I have requested! This salon has a TON of gel choices with the EXACT non-gel matching shade. As soon as I make that request, I am shown which of the samples in the basket (ladies - you know THAT BASKET lol) have the matching shades as requested. I have had my nails done by 4 different nail techs here & I have always left happy with how my nails look. After my last negative experience at what was my *former* go-to salon (which I will leave nameless, but I encountered a VERY RUDE nail tech & vowed to myself that I would not go back) this is now my new nail home. My colleague told me about this nail salon, which was renovated 10 months ago. I've been looking for a nicer nail salon that doesn't have the traditional pedicure tubs that all look the same (and gross me out!), so when I saw photos of this salon, I had to come. I called earlier today and asked to make a 1 pm pedicure appointment. The woman on the phone didn't ask my name, but she said coming at 1 pm was fine. Upon arrival (on a Saturday early afternoon), there were a few people in the salon - I noticed the polish selection seemed slim, but I found what I was looking for (a creamy white - went with an Essie shade). Marleny gave me a pedicure and did a great job! I brought a book and wanted to read, which she respected. I asked for the basic spa pedicure ($26) - they also have upgraded pedicure options for $35 and $45. This was my first time here..NEVER AGAIN!!! I had a gentlemen as a nail technician who did nothing but talk to another gentlemen in another language.. I found this extremely rude. All my nails are different lengths and veer off to the right. I asked him if he was going to clean under my nails and he told me to go wash them and use a brush by the sink. The guy did a terrible paint job and when I asked him to please remove the extra polish on my skin he rudely told me it would come off when I wash them. Let me preface my statements by saying this, I'm not just a guy testing the waters of getting a pedicure for the first time. As a former athlete I have long been taking advantage of the benefits of self-care such as manicures, pedicures and massage therapy for close to 15 years. Now, I have recently been going to Beverly Hills Nails and Spa on New Garden Road for the past two months. I stumbled across them just because I was in the area and don't live far away. One evening I had gotten a massage and wanted to complete the package so I walked in to see what it was like. The ambience was nice and it was empty I wasn't quite sure why. Now I do - the overall service and the way they treat people is HORRIBLE! After giving it a try 3 times, all of which were satisfactory experiences prior to tonight. I will never go back to this establishment again. I work and have children who are very active with extracurricular activities so I can only make it in the evenings. This was my opportunity to get some "me time" (as all parents need). So I stopped in tonight to get a pedicure, just a pedicure. I had a scheduled appointment tomorrow but I had something come up so I wouldn't be able to go. I went to the girl who calls herself HOLLY. She seemed nice at first and did a very good job in my opinion. But there was one instance where she was sick and kept coughing on my feet (disgusting)! This time she was there and because she had previously been good and is very meticulous I wanted to go back to her. Upon seeing me she slouches her shoulders in disappointment. I smiled back and said I know I had an appointment tomorrow but can I be seen tonight?? She says no, I have to leave to get my kids food from the grocery store. Now I have kids and I get that but you don't close til 730pm and it was 646pm. So now I'm confused, I said ok thanks and walked out. But I thought about it and decided to go back in an ask someone else seen this was the only time I could go. I proceeded back in about a minute later; at this point Holly, another female and two men are all in chairs or curled up on couches watching tv on their phones. I asked for service again and everyone just looked around at each other and checked their watches. Then stated we have to go home, at this point it's about 655ish. My question now becomes why is your open sign on if you all aren't offering people service!??? Don't waste your time with this place! One of my friends and I brought 3 elementary aged children, and one of them ended up in tears with a manicure that was chipped after a day - as was mine. After we waited more than 45 minutes on a random Saturday, we were all seated. They started pedicures for 3 of us - all of whom were paying adult rates. After another 15 minutes they started a child pedicure. They finished all 4 of those pedicures, and no one had approached my child at all. It had been an hour and 45 minutes before they got to my daughter. The rest of us were finished They rushed through, skipped one of her pinkies altogether, and left her with a manicure that was chipped the next day - without any playing that would have damaged it. Mine isn't great either. By the way - I had been in a couple of times and had given such a big tip on New Year's that they checked to make sure I hadn't made a mistake. This was my second and last time coming here. I received a nail color change by a woman that did my pedicure before. She was very pleasant and im pleased her work. I was suppose to get a flesh colored and white full set by another woman. So i waited on her to finish another customer. When she was finished, someone else came in and she offered to do her nails before mine and I have been waiting on her. Her other coworkers noticed as well and her male coworker (he was sitting in the front when o arrived and did not greet me by the way) he offered to do my nails. I guess this woman was the only employee that knew how to do ombre nails(everybody should have been trained). Basically i didn't get what i paid for. I asked him if the pink ombrè he waa using was going to get darker more flesh tone like the picture, he told me yes. When i saw that it wasn't going to get darker before he had a chance to put the pink on the left hand (the right was done) i told him and showed him again what i wanted. He ignored me. Clearly i was very upset. So i was finished and proceeded to tell him at check out how disappointed i was with my nails (i don't even like pink). He then tells me that this was the only color they had (this was not told to me while i was getting my feet done). Asked him for some money off and he told me that i was already getting 20% off (everybody gets 20% off if your spending $15 or more). He didnt apologise, nor did the woman (who took someone else) who was suppose to do my nails in the first place. I didnt want to continue going back and forth bc i was the only black woman there and certain types of people already feel the way they do. Im no longer going to them. First off, I've been here once before for a Gel manicure and had a wonderful experience. It takes a lot for me to leave a negative review anywhere, I try to overlook a lot of things, but I just left after getting a pedicure and could not have been more disappointed. And if I'm being truly honest, the pedicure was not worth what I paid for it. I'm not sure his name, but the man who did the pedicure was extremely rude. He acted like he was bothered from the beginning, as if he was having to work too hard to perform the service (he was actually making sounds of exertion when scrubbing my feet with the loofah). He seemed to be rushing through the whole process, mumbling under his breath the whole time, splashing water all over. It was a bare bones pedicure and his massage actually hurt. After polishing, the color was very light after 2 coats, so I asked for one more. He was annoyed again because he had already put a top coat on and I hadn't noticed and asked before. He then proceeded to tell me over and over again that "smart people check the color on their fingernail first, "next time be smart or choose a different color," "you would know that if..." I was made to feel as though I was an idiot and had never had a pedicure before. Lastly, I moved to dry for a few minutes and was having a nice conversation with another customer. It had been about 10 minutes, he interrupted us rudely and asked if I wanted to leave. Not, "Are you ready to pay?", "I think you're probably done drying now," no smile, but "do you want to leave? You can leave the foam slippers on as you go." I could *possibly* understand this behavior if it was busy, but there were 2 other customers and 3 employees (including him) in the salon. There was no rush. I didn't leave a tip (and I'm normally a very gracious tipper), and when he saw it on the receipt I heard him start to complain as I walked out the door. The salon is beautiful and I know that others absolutely love it, so I hope that this encounter was just a fluke. But, I can assure you that I will not be returning. read more

I recently visited this salon to get a manicure and pedicure. The shop is beautifully done and it even includes a sitting area in the back where you can wait while enjoying a beverage. Though the decor is gorgeous and inviting, the service I received there was subpar. The lady who did my pedicure seems to only do feet. The pedicure she did provide me was very rushed and she was not gentle. I got a spa pedicure yet she did not rub the exfoliating beads into my skin. She basically took a spoonful of exfoliate and placed it onto my legs and then rinsed it off. Next she put lotion and oil on my skin with one upward motion then one downward motion and applied warm towels to my legs. In other words there was no massaging the products into the skin. Because several people came in demanding quick service I was then placed to the side as she dashed back and forth between myself and another woman she had just placed in a pedicure bowl on the opposite end of me. She left pieces of cotton on my toes which made the nail polish finish very messy. When she did complete my pedicure I thought another technician would immediately begin my manicure. However I was placed to the side while two other nail technicians began working on two other clients who had walked in just as I was exiting the pedicure bowl. I waited patiently since this was my first time patronizing the salon. When the gentleman did finally get to me he also did a very poor job. He was continuously drilling on my nails in a manner that made my fingertips sore. My nails are in very good condition I keep them done regularly so I do not believe it required all the effort he was putting into filing off the SNS powder. Let me please add that my fingernails had already been filed and sitting in acetone and aluminum foil while I was getting my pedicure done. At this point I was highly disappointed and discouraged so I declined the offer for a manicure and decided to go with regular gel polish. By the time he painted my nails and placed me under the UV light for the gel polish to dry my fingertips were on fire. I told him that my nails were burning he did not make a comment. After I was done with getting my nails polished he did not apply any products to my hand. I asked if I would even get lotion and he told me I could it apply myself and motioned towards the lotion bottle as he rushed to another client. Upon careful inspection of my nails I realized that he had applied the top coat over the nail onto my skin therefore my nails and skin were stuck together. I had to call him back to correct this problem. Needless to say I will not be visiting this salon again. The atmosphere may draw you in but trust me when I tell you you'll be very disappointed with the service you receive. I noticed there are several positive reviews of this place from years before. Please take note that this place has changed ownership several times and has undergone a very recent change in ownership. They do not seem to have very many nail technicians and the ones they have don't seem to be very skilled. read more

specifically asked how long it would take because i was in a hurry and she took her sweet time getting to me and then took her time taking medicine while i'm just sitting there and then took forever to take my gel polish off so didn't have time to get my nails painted. still got charged 10$ to look awful. would like to add i was there a total of 45 mins it should not take that long to get polish off especially when they have the machine and don't have to wrap each nail anymore. disappointed in their customer service and that they quoted 20 mins total for something they couldn't even start in 45... this is what my nails look like now! thanks beverly nails read more

This Salon is beautiful on the inside but the service is lousy. I really believe that the people working there are not licensed nail technicians. During my pedicure the gentle Juan repeatedly kept pulling at my cuticles after being told that it was painful and to end the experience my polish looked horrible like he had never been taught how to polish. My manicure was no better it normally takes an hour for a manicure mine took 15 min. Although my friend and I where the first customers of the day we where made to feel rushed because other people started coming in requesting service saying they couldn't wait. Being a former small business owner I really enjoy leaving positive reviews for other businesses if deserving. But this has to be the worst experience I have ever had at a Nail Salon. I literally watched them take people that came in after me. I sat at a table while the owner totally ignored me for an entire hour. I then asked the very rude man would I be serviced soon. Worst mani/pedi ever received! Walked in and first technician was literally coughing up a lung. I asked if he was sick and he said "No, I have a cold." Asked for another technician. I then went through the following in no particular order: Scolding water sprayed on my legs, cuticle tool jabbed into my toes, 2 minute massage (asked for more and was charged for 5 minutes more!), polish missing on half my toe, polish all over my skin, destroying my nail while removing old gel and leaving my nails peeling, bleeding cuticles on my fingers, edge of nails cut which left a gouge in the nail shape and had to be filed down to the nubs to correct. At this point, I decided to end the madness and torture and left before she finished. The technician knew I wasn't happy because I kept having to point things out to her.....also my cries of pain were obvious. No offer when I went to pay and a dirty look when I didn't tip. This place was convenient in location and seemed very nice as it was new and completely renovated. But SO not worth the convenience! I'm sticking to what I know and where I know is going to be quality service. read more
